Analysis of tourism in selected region

This thesis analyzes the development of tourism in Spindleruv Mlyn. The paper includes indicators that are analyzed through time series methods as well as evaluated predictions for tourism development. The main indicators include the amounts of visitors to Spindleruv Mlyn between the years 2004 to 2014, whereby a prognosis for the future (year 2015) is then constructed on the basis of adaptive models. Elemental characteristics are used in order to determine the basic tendencies in the development of indicators. These are calculated in the spreadsheet program Microsoft Excel 2007 and in the program Statistics 1.0. The paper concludes with a summary of the most important findings on the subject of the development of tourism in Spindleruv Mlyn.

Performance management

This dissertation thesis named Performance management deals with the problems in evaluation of working performance in selected company. The aim of the given thesis is the analysis of present rating system in working performance evaluation and the proposal of potential ganges which could lead to more effective rating of employees and this way also increase the total productivity of given company. The first part of this work focuses on theoretical solutions. It deals with working performance, its substance, process of working performance management, motivation to working performance, rating of working performance and its reward. The second part deals with the analysis of the present rating system in working performance in given company. This analysis is performed with the help of internal communication analysis related to these issues. There is also used the method of questioning where questionnaires are focused on effectivity and satisfaction of employees with this system of rating. On the basis of all obtained data and knowledge there is presented a proposal of changes for improvement in present working performance of employees´rating system in given company in the end.

Homelessness – Res Communes (Local Housing Policy Anticipation)

Summary The thesis is dedicated to solving the problem of homelessness, from the vantage point of synergy of social policy tools, mainly the housing policy. The author s aim has been to find out what methods are adopted to prevent and solve homelessness in Prague, whether the steps taken by the state or other subjects active in the capital provide help to the group of the socially excluded individuals in the process of their reintegration into the society of people with homes. The theoretical part deals with the crisis of the welfare state concept, based on solidarity of the wealthier classes with the socially deprived groups. After examining expert sources, the accent is put on definition of social policy participants on the part of the state and other subjects that are instrumental in integration of persons temporarily or permanently excluded from the consumption of the fundamental social value,housing. Last but not least, this work defines the phenomenon of homelessness in its key aspects: in the history of its emergence and causes, its perception by the public, typology of homeless persons, and in the problem with a qualified estimate of the number of the affected. The practical part is dedicated to a closer examination of the social exclusion of inhabitants in the interaction with the responsible persons from the ranks of social workers, curators, housing authority clerks, providing expert help to the socially deprived groups among Prague inhabitants. This research, done in the form of interviews, is completed by a questionnaire survey carried out directly with the people concerned the homeless. The contribution of this work consists in this combination of both perspectives, the basis of which is knowledge of the homeless environment, acquired via the author s voluntary work for a lowthreshold treatment program center Naděje in Prague.

Stress load in a specific job

This thesis focuses on the stress loads and stressors of the Police of the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, stress, stress history, types of stress and where stress comes from is closely described. The next part explains the influence of the load and stress on health, and the consequences of stress overload. The end of the theoretical part is focused on the unitary armed security corps. Work stress, stressors and factors at Police of the Czech Republic are defined there. The empirical part discusses a research of the stress level in the workplace of the Police of the Czech Republic that was carried out in Chomutov, Jirkov, Ústí nad Labem and Prague via questionnaire survey. This part of the work provides an inspection of the general characteristics of the sample, its statistic evaluation and graphs with an interpretation of the results. At the end, the stress level is evaluated and stressors which affect the workplace of selected group of Police of the Czech Republic are identified. Finally, the measures for their limitation are proposed.

Management Accounting as a Source of Information in a Chosen Company

This thesis is focused on the role of management accounting in company management decision making in selected accounting entity. It is divided into three parts The theoretical part clarify the relationship between financial and management accounting and defining them within individual business processes. It also explains the economic structure and describing the cost centers, the costs breakdown from different perspectives, costing system, business planning and budgeting. The last part of theoretical background describes the phases of cost control, determination of deviations and improvement steps. The practical part contains general characteristics of the selected entity, description of the current state of the management information system, economic structure and the classification of profit/cost centers. Furthermore, this section describes the revenues of the company, costing system and types of calculations, budgeting and methods to monitor the costs. The last section, named "Evaluation of proposals and solutions", identifies areas with deficiencies and weaknesses. These areas are based on the theoretical knowledge and the findings made in the practical part and are followed by possible solutions, which would lead to the improvement in particular areas.

Foreign trade with domestic spirits

Import or export of goods to foreign countries may seem like a simple matter. These forms of foreign trade depands on many circumstances in which include numerous explorations and analyzes. The aim is to create and evaluate the business case of the commodity to selected country. Own part primarily uses methods of collecting data through non-standardized interviews with persons that comprehend the topic. Besides this method was also used a method of collecting data from literature, scientific articles and internet sources of relevant institutions. The result is a list of factors that must be taken into account when entering foreign markets. These factors include the selection of appropriate product and country to which export takes place, legislation of this country, the potential competitors, knowledge of distribution channels, choosing suitable marketing and others.

Tourist Destination Value - Southern Bohemia

The Thesis deals with the value of the tourist destinations in South Bohemia. Tourism destination and its potential is dealt with in the theoretical part, based on the study of scientific literature. An integral part of the potential of the tourist destinations in South Bohemia are natural and cultural attractions found in this area. Literary part also explains in detail the selected data collection methods that were used for empirical research. The practical part is focused on comparing the results of questionnaire surveys based on which the value of the tourist destination was defined. The results of this Thesis can be used, for example, by the destination companies or individual tourist centers.

Business plan for a selected company

Topic of my Bachelor thesis is creation of business project for selected company. The company is real and is called Bário s.r.o. The goal of this thesis is to analyze gathered data and then prepare business plan for this company. In first theoretical part are explained terms connected to entrepreneurship as well as methods of financial and situational analysis. In second part of this thesis are the theoretical methods, previously explained, applied to the business. Thanks to these methods is created SWOT analysis. Thanks to the SWOT analysis strategies can be prepared. These strategies are then consulted with the business management and as a result business plan is created.

Employees Training and Development in the Company

The thesis focuses on the employees training and development in a company. The aim of this thesis is to valorize the current state of training and development in the selected company, i.e. ČESKÁ LÉKÁRNA HOLDING, a.s., to identify problem areas and then suggest possible improvements that could be applicable to real educational process of the company. The theoretical part is based on the study of the technical literature and further specifies the terms that employees training and development in the company are closely related. The practical part contains the characteristics of the company, the description and the assessment of the current state of training and development of employees based on the study of internal and publicly available sources. This part also includes research through a questionnaire survey, supplemented by interviews taken with the company employees. Based on the information, obtained from this research, are made suggestions and recommendations to improve educational processes in the company.

Evaluation System for Staff

The focus of this Bachelor thesis is to evaluate the current evaluation of employees in an organization. The theoretical part of the work is information and knowledge gained from literature relating to employee evaluation and assessment of their performance, the link between motivation and remuneration, there are also defined individually selected evaluation methods and subsequently defining evaluation interview, including errors that at the evaluation interview with a work very often occurs. The private part describes the characteristics of the selected organization in which it was found informal evaluation of employees. Based on this analysis was conducted via questionnaire. The results of this survey are evaluated in tables which are then summarized. In conclusion, the thesis summarizes findings and subsequent recommendations for streamlining the draft assessment staff in the organization.
