Barrandov Teraces as a place of memory

(in English): This bacelor's work is focused on presentation of the Barrandov Terraces multifunctional areal as a place of memory. Using the analysis of cultural media resources - newspaper articles, documents, photographes and memories, it shows in which way is the knowledge of the Barrandov Teraces represented in the society. Through the methodology of memory studies of eminent historians this work illustrates the actual perception of Barrandov Terraces in a popular opinion.

Public in Vejprnice during the First Czechoslavak Republic

This bachelor thesis focuses on the village Vejprnice during the First Czechoslovak Republic (1918-1938). Its main aim is to provide a contribution to the regional history of the region of Pilsen and simultaneously research the environment of the working class in countryside. The work describes the political, professional, social, demographic, building, religious, school and association development in the interwar period. The discovered data are compared to the region of Pilsen (with surrounding towns and villiages) and with the rest of the country. Liberation of Melnik region

This diploma thesis reviews the history of the Melnik region in the end of the Second World War and the resistence of the people. The aim of first body of the thesis is to describe the activity of Mělník natives in Royal Air Force. The materials for this part I got from archives. There are short profiles of fighter pilots, who left the Protectorate of Bohemia and Bohemia. The second part is about the resistance in Melnik region. In this region formed local resistance groups, but at the end of the war was there a cooperation with guerilla forces called "Narodni mstitel." In this thesis are described the soviet air-raids and some air-raids before May 1945. In the last part is described rising of the people in Melnik region, disarming of the enemy and entrance into the new era

The aim of this Master's Thesis called The Nature Trail of Selected Manors of Prague 5 in Terms of the Regional History Learning Programme for Upper Secondary School Students is the creation of the historical study with the didactic overlap primarily focused on the regional history knowledge in case of the upper-secondary school students. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The former is interested in the description, comparison and introdcution of the particular homesteads. It also covers their development in the area of Prague 5 in its historical and cultural context. The latter, practical, part deals with the didactic aim to make the upper- secondary school students become familiar with the historical, social and culturally historical aspects of people's life in the given area, taking into account their mutual context. The didactic focus is given on the knowledge of the region with the respect to the educational area A Man and Society. This part also includes the draft of the worksheets intended to the upper-secondary school students in accordance with the outcomes required by Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education. Project teaching - Monuments and personalities in Uhříněves

Diploma Thesis Project teaching - Monuments and personalities in Uhříněves is a project that was created with the primary school pupils as an example of the possible use of regional history in teaching. The thesis contains theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is a summary of information from available literature. In this part of the thesis is closer introduced to the benefits and importance of regional history for history teaching in primary schools , along with anchoring regional history in the curriculum. There are also shown working methods, organizational forms and teaching aids, which the teacher can use in assigning regional history teaching. The practical part presents the project itself, its preparation, implementation and evaluation of the effectiveness of including the problems that occurred during the project, and the possibilities of how to avoid the problem. There are also outlined options for further use of the project. The thesis includes both text and image attachments that document the project.

Fates of the Castle of Zelená Hora during the 20th Century

During its whole existence, Green Mountain castle played an important role in the history of our country. At the opening part this bachelor's thesis describes and explaines the methodology of work, than it is concerned with the oldest and also the later history of the castle. The principal part of the thesis affects the inflictions adherent to quite recent events that fatally touched the object in the course of the twentieth century. The social and political conversions that came in the twentieth century at the territory of our republic mirror clearly in the fate of the castle (birth of the Czechoslovakia, the World War II, the rise of the communist regime, the velvet revolution …).
