Set of JavaApplets Demonstrations for Speech Processing
Kudr, Michal ; Karafiát, Martin (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The goal of the thesis is being familiar with methods a techniques used in speech processing. Using the obtained knowledge I propose three JavaApplets demonstrating selected methods. In this thesis we can find the theoretical analysis of selected problems.
Adaptive control of magnetorheological dampers
Míša, Jiří ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The topic of this master´s thesis is the design of adaptive damping algorithm for the prototype magnetorheological dampers, which are used for Formula Student vehicle. The prime output is the development and optimization of the control algorithm which included usage of the MBS software and real data from race track. Temperature compensation to supress the effect of dynamic viscosity of magnetorheological fluid due to the increase in operating temperature and testing of the vertical dynamic of the car on 4 - post test rig was realized as well. The main goal was to obtain better control of the car in transient situations and increase usability of tires via changes in damping based on actual conditions and status of the vehicle.
Investigation of process stability at the braiding
Josiek, Robert ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is focused on analyzing pitch as one of the key parameters in manufacturing hydraulic hoses. Data for this analysis was acquired directly on site at Semperflex Optimit s.r.o. In this paper, a description of processes will be provided, and the influence of these processes on the pitch will be investigated. During this analysis two processes were found to have the greatest influence on the pitch and improvements were suggested. Using the Gauge R&R method, the precision of the measuring system was assessed and the appropriate adjustments were made.
Automatic / Automated recogniton of emotional states based on utterance analysis
Pfeifer, Leon ; Atassi, Hicham (referee) ; Smékal, Zdeněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of human emotional states. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part is charcterize, the process of speech generating, from phonetic and psychological poin of view. In the second part there are proccesed metods and contextual things.(preprocessing of signal, voice activity detector). For calculation fundamental Frequency it was used metod of central clipping, another used metod is formant frequency analyse and the last is metod of determinatin of nuber of thorns and planes. In the thirt part there are proccesesed results of measurements performed by particural metods. It was scorred five different emotional states: neutral, anger, happiness, sadness and surprise. At the end of this part there are discussed results for each metod.
Single-Phase Induction Motor Calculation
Vácha, Pavel ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
The master´s thesis deal with the thesis of a single-phase induction motor that is more and more used all over the world. Its aim is assembling the information about this type of motor and its calculation. The content of the first part is the theoretical analysis of a single-phase induction motor and acquirement ways of the stroke moment. Than the work contains a project of basic schema of the single-phase induction motor with an auxiliary phase. The practical part is devoted to an elaboration of demonstration example of the single-phase induction motor with concrete parameters calculation, its method was projected before. Than there is practising successived measuring on the motor of the same parameters made firm EMP s.r.o. Slavkov by Brno in this part. In the conclusion there is the evaluation of the whole process with reached results.
Real-Time Analysis of Audio Signals
Řezáč, Martin ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is creation an application, which can perform real-time fundamental frequency tracking of incoming audio samples. According to detected frequencies, the program generates MIDI messages, which are sent to chosen MIDI device. First, the reader is introduced to the issue of fundamental frequency tracking. The following part describes individual methods, especially the one based on spectral analysis of a tone. A description of used technologies is also a included in this part of this thesis. In the following part, the implementation and testing of application are described including opinions of several musicians about this product. At the end, the whole work is concluded and the possible further development is outlined.
Quadrocopter - Sensory Subsytem
Bradáč, František ; Šolc, František (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with processing of measured data from inertial navigation system in order these could be used for stabilization. There is general information about aerial vehicles called copters with emphasis on four-rotor construction called quadrocopter at first. Then mathematical model of quadrocopter in state space form is derived, the particular implementation of university developed quadrocopter is described and the design of data processing algorithm is presented with measured results. Finally achieved results are discussed.
Modelling Prosodic Dynamics for Speaker Recognition
Jančík, Zdeněk ; Fapšo, Michal (referee) ; Matějka, Pavel (advisor)
Most current automatic speaker recognition system extract speaker-depend features by looking at short-term spectral information. This approach ignores long-term information. I explored approach that use the fundamental frequency and energy trajectories for each speaker. This approach models prosody dynamics on single fonemes or syllables. It is known from literature that prosodic systems do not work as well the acoustic one but it improve the system when fusing. I verified this assumption by fusing my results with state of the art acoustic system from BUT. Data from standard evaluation campaigns organized by National Institute of Standarts and Technology are used for all experiments.
Identification of emotional state using speech signal analysis
Navrátil, Michal ; Atassi, Hicham (referee) ; Smékal, Zdeněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of human emotional states speaker by the help of analyse speech signals. The thesis has two parts. In the first part, the process of speech generating is described in addition to the description of the commonly used pre-processing methods such as denoising or preemphasis. The first part also deals with the major and minor prosody features, these features are: the fundamental frequency, energy, spectral features and time domain features such as the speech rate. The second part of this thesis deals with a task of emotion recognition from the speech signal. When we accumulate sufficient of the number of recordings emotive state will be able to rekognize emotive state with high probability. All project is prepared for use in real time. The last part of this thesis thesis contains description and results of the experiments made on a large number of speech records.
Vehicle data analysis
Starý, Přemysl ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with a data analysis of the Formula Student race car. An attention is given for both, vehicle and driver. Processes of braking, turning and balance of car are analysed. Special attention is given to the dampers positions while driving and their settings. Dampers velocity histograms and ride frequencies graph are put together. Algorithms in MATLAB are suggested to reduce requested time for analysis. Scripts for displaying important channels are made. Analyzed data are used to create events which accelerate orientation in record and tell the most important information.
