Efficiency of Regulation on Spanish Housing Market

Covering reciprocal and mutually reinforcing relations between business, housing and credit cycles, the thesis assesses the Spanish housing market in its wider circumstances. With use of several conceptual notes on demand for housing, dynamic path of the house prices in Spain may be explained based on the difference in how these structural components react on changes in financial and macroeconomic environment. As a result of controlling for match of demand and supply in both timely and spatial manner empirically, expectations were included to explain the subsequent volume of housing traded on the market and simple microeconomic decision making model taking into account taxes was derived to assess the role favourable incentives might have played on fuelling the house price cycle in Spain. Next, existence of the reciprocal relations suggested by the theory discussed was confirmed empirically only during the house price upturn and asymmetry in speed of downward adjustment was found in the opposite case, pointing out at the redistribution effect abrupt changes in house prices have in time. Discount Portals in The Hospitality Industry

This thesis deals with discount portals. The offer of terms that appear on the discount portal is very large,that´s why it has been narrowed down to only the restaurants. The main objective is to define common and differing requirements (expectations) of discounts from customers who purchased discount vouchers and discounts from providers, which are, in the context of this thesis, restaurants. The thesis includes first introduction to the concepts of marketing to customers online. Next, the central issue is the concept of discount portals. The practical part is an analysis of questionnaires from customers' discount portals and interviews with providers of discount offers. This is focused on restaurants that offer discounts compared to customers who buy the discount vouchers. Finally, a comparison and contrast is made for the requirements of both parties. These results can serve in particular, to help new restaurateurs decide whether to offer discount portals and realize what to expect from it. This thesis can also serve permanent restaurant operators who are already on discount portals and act in their best interests to better satisfy customer expectations.
Human Resources Department Feedback for the Objective of Increasing the Department´s Importance and Effectiveness

The Diploma thesis deals with the analysis of Human Resources Department processes with a view to increasing its importance and effectiveness. In the theoretical part the point at issue is outlined as seen both from the point of view of experts from real business and quoted literature. The practical part focuses on the study of personnel managers´ activities and HR department processes. In the final analysis based on the research having been carried out some recommendations are suggested for the company.

The Parents of Handicaped Child

The present bachelor thesis focuses on unusualness of life and experience of parents who have a handicapped child. The aim of this study is to investigate how the handicap of their child influences, limits or contributes to their life. For this purpose, the focus lies on the impact of this situation on the family relationships, alternatively relationship to themselves. The theoretical part examines tasks connected with middle adulthood, I also define the role of parent, furthermore I am focused on a specific load which is connected with handicap of child. The empirical part is based on qualitative research applying semi-structured interviews. The current study consisted of six samples, which were based on interviews with six volunteers three parental couples. Interviews were conducted with one parental couple together at the same time, withpartner´s presence. It was assumed that respondents could fill in the partner´s statement and providing an emotional support of a partner was another purpose. As expected, differences were found between the attitude of mothers and fathers of their life situation.
The use of specific motivation tools in practice

The work deals with the use of specific motivation tools in practice. It is based on knowledge of motivation theories and essence of basic motivation tools which are applied in practice. It places emphasis on the use of feedback which is an integral part of motivation and which should not be ignored. The aim of this work is to determine how the concrete motivation tool performs in the selected company if the expectations with its implementation were met.
Expectations of the Parents from the Provided Social Services in the Kaňka o.p.s. Tábor

On the field of social services devoted to children with health handicaps and their families there have been recently established lots of new organizations. So it has been becoming more and more up to date topic. The aim of this thesis, named Expectations of parents about the social services provided by Kaňka o.p.s. Tábor, is to find out actual information whether the parents´ expectations identify with providing of these services. Within this thesis there has been defined the following research question: Do the parents´ expectations correspond with the social services provided? The thesis has been divided into the theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part has been devoted to the sphere of family, the family surroundings which has been the foundation stone of the life of the children with health handicaps. It is also devoted to parents of children with health handicaps in context of social services provided, characteristic of these families according to the law No. 108/2006 about the social services. There has been specified the social service of early care, personal assistance and day care centre offered by the Kaňka o.p.s. Tábor institution. There have been also mentioned particular therapies realized for the children with health handicaps. The therapies seem to be meaningful for these children at least because the children calm down, entertain, relax and develop during them. There have also been mentioned variety of special aids often used during the activities with these children, which make the care easier not only to the families but to all persons taking care of these children. You can also find there some non-profit institutions in the southern Bohemia region, which provide similar services as Kaňka o.p.s. Tábor does. And last but not least the theoretical part is devoted to the term Expectation itself - what do parents expect of the social services mingled with individual planning of social services, thanks to which the particular organization can be better joined in the process of expectations of the social services. The empirical part deals with the institution Kaňka o.p.s. Tábor with respect to the social services provided to the families of children with health handicaps, who attend this institution. There have besides other things been engaged the other services provided by the institution Kaňka o.p.s. That means therapeutic activities, free time activities, rehabilitation integration stays, one-time activities etc. This part has been enriched with the basic case history of individual clients whose families were part of the research. According to these case histories it is more obvious which clients with a health handicap really attend the institution Kaňka o.p.s. In view of the determined aim there was chosen the qualitative research strategy, the method of asking questions, and the technique of half-structured dialogue. The research was realized in the Kaňka o.p.s. Tábor institution and there were involved twenty respondents. For this research there was chosen the method of intentional choice, that means ten parents of children who attend the Kaňka o.p.s. institution and use the social services there and ten parents of children who also attend this institution and not only use the social services, but also the compulsory education. In the thesis there were determined the spheres of questions relating to the given issues of expectation of the social services provided by Kaňka o.p.s. Tábor. During the data processing, systematization and interpretation there was used selective coding within the method of the contents analysis. There were created categories which facilitate the organization and classification of the data. The result of the thesis has shown that in the research there were involved predominantly women in the age from 40 to 50 and most of them were mothers of the children.
Partnership from the perspective of men and women

The present bachelor thesis focuses on partnerships between young adults both from a man's perspective and from the perspective of women. The aim of this study is to investigate the expectations of the partners involved in a relationship and to understand whether those expectations are based on gender stereotypes and roles. The theoretical part examines different attitudes and expectations of men and women in relationships. The practical part is based on qualitative research applying semi-structured interviews. Overall, the current study consisted of six samples, which were based on interviews with six volunteers (three pairs). Interviews were conducted with each partner separately. It was assumed that in the absence of a partner respondents would be more open and truthful. At first the information were processed under the pair's separately and subsequently compared with other pairs. As expected, differences were found between the expectations of men and women in relationships, which were based on gender roles.
The significance of nursing in the view of nurse and patient.

The Bachelor´s thesis deals with the sense of the nursing profession from two points of view. The first one is the view of nurses working in health service and contributing to the treatment of patients by their care, the other one is a sense of the nursing profession for those who are staying in hospital and thus depending on the care of nurses, i.e. of patients. The goal of the thesis was to identify nurses´ reasons for selecting the nursing profession and to find out how nurses perceive the sense of their occupation. Expectations from the nursing activity in a hospital facility were ascertained with patients. Another goal was to find out how patients perceive the sense of care provided by a nurse. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the history and presence of the nursing profession, a nurse as a representative of the profession and a patient´s position in the nursing care. The quantitative method of research survey was selected for the elaboration of the empiric part of the Bachelor´s thesis. A non-standardized interview was selected for collecting data from nurses and patients. Results of the research survey with nurses resulted in the finding that most nurses expect from the nursing profession that their occupation will be beneficial for other people and they expect their satisfaction. Nurses stated the feeling of satisfaction when they have the possibility to be in contact with patients and communicate with them and if this is supported by a positive response from patients to their behaviour and activities. Nurses see the sense of their profession in helping people and taking care of them. Results of the research survey with patients resulted in an interesting finding. There was an agreement with nurses in the view of the sense of the nursing profession and patients stated the help to ill people and care of their satisfaction. They consider the job of nurses important, demanding and highly professional. For patients, the nursing profession becomes important only after experience with a stay in hospital. Expectations patients specified rather focused on a nurse´s personality and her behaviour. Patients expect helpful and patient behaviour in the contact with a nurse. They also expect the nurse to give them sufficient amount of information. Results obtained in this research survey can be used as an information source for nurses and other workers in health service e.g. for finding a sense of the profession and thinking over the importance of nursing care. They can also be used as a motive for further examination of patient expectations and thus improving the care for the ill.
