Prevention of cyberbullying among pupils at the second stage of primary school

This thesis deals with the prevention of cyberbullying at selected elementary school XY. Four objectives were set out in the thesis, the first one is "To introduce students to the risk of cyberbullying and its prevention" and the second one "To map their students' views of cyberbullying and to provide information to the extent of this issue." The third objective is "To find out whether the pupils themselves have the experience of cyberbullying, give the pupils information about the right solution to this issue" fourth and the last one "Verify if pupils are exposed to cyberbullying via the internet or mobile phone". The thesis is composed of a theoretical and a research part. The theoretical part is divided into 4 chapters. The first chapter deals with the current view of experts on possible prevention of risky behaviour. In the second chapter, I outline cyberbullying, which I characterize in terms of risk factors, manifestations, types of cyber-aggressions, ways and types of attack, division of social networks, impacts and proper behaviour while meeting with cyberbullying. In the third chapter I describe the specifics of cyberbullies in the school environment. The fourth chapter deals with the possibility of using a preventative program in the area of cyberbullying. The empirical part is focused on introducing students to the risk of cyberbullying, including its prevention, and mapping their opinions, including the right information. The main research questions are: "Do pupils know what a cyberbullying is and what are its symptoms?", "Do students have an idea of how they are threatening themselves on the Internet?", "Do pupils know how to properly behave in cybersquatting?" "Has any pupil been threatened by a cyberaggressor?". The research results highlighted the need for both education as the mandatory training required both the job, and the next compulsory education. Attention should also be paid to areas of mental hygiene. The results of the thesis were elaborated into the creation of the preventive educational program "Kyberšikana" ("Cyberbullying"), which was used as part of the primary prevention at elementary school XY. The results included in the preventive program may lead to accreditation of an educational event within the System of Further Education of Educational Workers in order to lead to the acquisition of knowledge and skills to implement primary prevention within the framework of teaching.

Cyberbullying of children and youth and possibly preventative measures

The bachelor thesis deals with cyberbullying in children and youth and possible preventive measures. The theoretical part deals with the concept of cyberbulling, describes the participants cyberbullying and cyberspace. It deals with preventive measures from the point of view of the school, parents and describes safe internet and non-label rules (of internet). The aim of the bachelor thesis is to map the experience of the professional public with implemented preventive measures against cyberbullying. The semi-structured interview and their evaluation using the trick method were used to achieve the goal. The research highlights to the effectiveness of preventive measures used, the lack of cooperation of experts with parents and the importance of the role of preventists in the development of information technology.

Protection of Personal Rights in Cyberspace Abstract I chose the doctor thesis topic, Personality protection in cyberspace, for several reasons. First of all this topic is close to me as I am interested in protection of personality for couple of years (I have dealt with personality protection in scientific articles, my diploma thesis and protection of personality is also the subject of my dissertation thesis at this university). Secondly, this theme is a very actual issue and there is still space to come with new approach and move the legal science forward. The aim of the thesis is therefore to bring new ideas and approaches on this issue. The thesis introduction deals with important milestones of personal protection. Among them is the Law Code of Hammurabi, the Constitution of the Athenians, the Law of Twelve Plagues, the Edict of Milan, the Magna Carta Libertatum, the Declaration of Independence, the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, the League of Nations, and in Bohemia ABGB or the Press Act. The following parts further define terms as follows: human personality, the protection of personality and the cyber space. V současnosti se o internetu mluví jako o jednom z nejvýznamnějších vynálezů lidstva. Internet ovšem není pouze jen celosvětový systém propojených počítačových sítí, ve kterých je uloženo obrovské množství různých informací, je to také virtuální svět. Internet je používán téměř ve všech sférách lidských aktivit – domácnost (Chytrá Domácnost), komunikace, vzdělání, dopravní systémy atd. Díky internetu se lidský život stal jednoduší. Vznik internetu sebou přinesl velké množství výhod, nicméně tento vynález má i negativní efekty na lidsky život. Cílem této bakalářské práce je prozkoumat hlavní negativní dopady internetu na lidskou společnost a komunikaci. Tato práce se zabývá internetovými jevy, které ovlivňují společnost tím nejvíce negativním způsobem. Internet je v této práci taky analyzován jako komunikační kanál. Tato práce pojednává o vlivu internetu na jazykové aspekty a dopadu beztrestnosti na komunikaci. Studium literatury a provedení výzkumu v oboru spojeného s daným tématem byly hlavními podklady pro tuto práci.

Identification of cyberbully

This bachelor thesis deals with the options of determining the identity of the aggressor of the cyberbullying and it is focused at the analysis of the network information of the aggressor’s devices (computer, smartphone). Regarding the layout of the thesis was created application which is able to clone any website and consequently run it on the server of planetlab. Thanks to this "‘phishing"’ website, the application is able to get network information about all visitors and saves it for later usage. Most important part of the application is that it is working in realtime mode where shows the IP addresses which are currently connected to the website. Besides that it also shows information like location of the IP address: country, region, city and geolocation. The application also shows operating system, user agent, resolution of the browser a the number of visits of the website.

Cyberbullying at basic schools

This thesis focuses on the theme of cyberbullying at selected basic schools in the Czech Republic. The conceptual basis rests upon Lawrence Kohlberg theory of moral development and theory of social pathology. Through the desk research of the relevant Czech and international research, and through experts interviewing, the aims of the thesis are mainly exploratory, i.e. to explore the nowadays situation in (incl. effects and prevention/fighting of) cyberbullying at sample basic schools in the Czech Republic.
