Assistance to persons in material need
Jakešová, Stanislava ; Štangová, Věra (advisor) ; Vysokajová, Margerita (referee)
ASSISTANCE TO PERSONS IN MATERIAL NEED At the present time in the Czech Republic the assistance to persons in material need is provided by nongovernmental organisations (Salvation Army, Naděje, Diakonie and others). However, the state has the bigger role to play in this area as according to Art. 30/2 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms it is obliged to provide anyone in material need the assistance in securing basic living conditions. The state does so through the Material Need Assistance Bodies. As the previous legal regulation of assistance to persons in social need had not been fully sufficient, a new Act on Assistance in Material Need was adopted, coming into force on 1 January 2007. This Act introduced several crucial changes. The Material Need Assistance Body is obliged to provide social consultation to anyone in material need. Timely and professional consultation very often leads to resolving the difficult situation of the client, and regularly there is no longer any need to grant and disburse the relevant benefits and allowances. In case the social consultation is insufficient to resolve the situation of the client the Act allows for disbursing material need assistance benefits and allowances. These are envisioned to resolve certain situation of the client. If the client lacks...

Subcelulární lokalizace a úloha komplexu exocyst v savčích buňkách během cytokineze
Ulrychová, Lenka ; Hudeček, Jiří (advisor) ; Entlicher, Gustav (referee)
Cytokinesis is the last step of cell cycle when two individual daughter cells separate in process called abscission. This process involves various cellular membrane structures such as endoplasmic reticulum or trans-Golgi network. Moreover, recent investigation has also highlighted an important role of recycling endosomes. The membrane dynamics appear to be important during cell division especially for the formation of new plasma membrane between two daughter cells. Numerous studies suggest that cytokinesis is tightly linked with highly sophisticated transmembrane shuttle that is controlled by Ras-superfamily members such as Rab and Ral proteins. Moreover, during last years has also been revealed the involvement of tethering factors which mediate the fusion of intracellular vesicles with the target plasma membrane. The best known tethering factor is the evolutionary conserved exocyst complex found in all eukaryotic cells. This protein complex is composed of eight subunits (Sec3, Sec5, Sec6, Sec8, Sec10, Sec15, Exo70 and Exo84) and was found to interact with members of Ras- superfamily suggesting its involvement in the regulation of cytokinesis. Although the exact mechanism remains shrouded in fog this work suppose the possible interactions among Ras- like proteins and exocyst members which may...

Change management and related influence on IS/ICT
Kroupa, Filip ; Šebesta, Michal (advisor) ; Bruckner, Tomáš (referee)
The topic of this thesis is change management. A summary of the topic is made in the first part of this thesis so that a reader has the theoretical background to read further. In the second part, the author describes five most important change management methods. These methods are described, analyzed and compared to one another. Five hypotheses about the most influential factors to the outcome of a change project were created out of the analysis. These hypotheses cover the entire span of a typical change project and are tested in the practical part of this thesis. The practical part of the thesis relies on a thorough case studies analysis and interviews. By analyzing the case studies and the interviews, the author was able to judge the validity of set hypotheses and create a set of recommendations for future change projects. These recommendations are based on many real situations and therefore are valuable for future reference. The role of information technology in change management is also emphasized at the end of the thesis.

The real task of data mining
Trondin, Anton ; Berka, Petr (advisor) ; Chudán, David (referee)
Diploma thesis " The real role of knowledge mining " is divided into two major parts, the theoretical and the practical. The practical part describes the basic concepts of data mining, various methods and types of tasks used for knowledge discovery in databases and algorithms used in this area . Main focus is devoted to the CRISP -DM methodology and to various stages of knowledge discovery from databases. This methodology will be later used as the basis for practical part of the thesis while other less known methods used for data mining won`t be neglected. List of paid and free software which can be used for knowledge mining in databases is presented at the end of theoretical part. The second part of the thesis is focused on the practical step by step application of the CRISP -DM methodology, which contains real data from the field of mobile communications. Data mining task used in practical part is the behavioral prediction of mobile carrier customers. Supporting the practical part of the thesis, IBM SPSS Modeler was used as a main software for knowledge mining. Key words: data mining, knowledge disvocery in databases. Churm management, prediction, CRISP-DM.

The content of the advertising message and its impact on the addressee
Schilla, Ondřej ; Surynek, Alois (advisor) ; Fischerová, Martina (referee)
The present Bachelor thesis tries to outline and assess the content of an advertising message and its impact on the addressee. In the theoretical part, the role of psychology in copywriting as well as the use of various underlying psychological concepts and approaches are characterized in great detail. The first section of the practical part of the present Bachelor thesis explores the impact of the twelve most frequently used methods of presenting an advertising message. For this purpose, an original author's questionnaire proved to be quite useful. The answers from the field were assessed and thoroughly analysed by the author of the thesis. The second section brings the author's analysis of the most succesfull advertisements from the official scale EFFIE 2012. The know-how derived from the theoretical part of the thesis could be applied here.
