My thesis is considering the theme of musicotherapy, the healing and development of personality by music. In the introduction there are outlined the basics and directing of conseption of musicotherapy, as it is understood and covered in this thesis work. The following part introduces general review and basic characteristics of musicotherapy as a field. It mentions historical contexts of the progress of this discipline and presents basic paradigms and consepts in present musicotherapy. Included is also the essential review of the present approaches and movements in musicotherapy. There is also a selection of present qualification and definitions of musicotherapy. This part is closed by disquisition on ways of work with a client from the aspect of the function of music and method of involving a client in the process of therapy. The Name of The Thesis Theological and Philosophical Background of the Ecclesiastical Funeral Rites and the Development of Legal Regulation Thereof in View of the Laws of the Czech Republic Anotation The thesis analysed three theoretical levels of finding starting criteria for the decision on the manner of disposal of a dead body and the way of its funeral in historical context: -Professionally institutionalized level, which was focused on satisfactory, swift and quality funeral, very often in the crematorium. -Philosophical and ethical level, which attempted to substantiate rationally moral qualifications of the behaviour of man and ethical obligation to take decision on pious manners of burial and celebration thereof. -Theological and ethical level, which, moreover, used the criteria resulting from moral principles included in the system of religious doctrines and which are the object of the faith of members of a religious community. The thesis deals with selected aspects of iconography of Syrian mosaics in Late Antiquity (3th - 6th centuries AD). This topic is studied both in the context of the Late Antique history, art and society and in the context of the general research of Late Antique mosaics. The Late Antique Period in Eastem Mediterranean is concidered on one hand a period linked clo sely with the Classical period, on the other hand it reflects - influenced by the Neoplatonism and Christianity - some new trends. In the first chapter, I define the Late Antique period and the Late Antique art. I draw the attention to the fact of continuity of the Antique civilisation in the Eastem Mediterranean, especially in Syria. I sketch the history of Syria in this period, depicting the characteristic features of this territory. I focuse on the archaeological sites were we can find the mosaics further described in detail (Apamea, Palmyra, Shahba-Philippopolis). I also show an outline of the Late Antique mosaics in the Mediterranean and in Syria as a framework for the undermentioned mosaics. The paper describes the issue of the Palestinian refugees in the context of relations between State of Israel and Palestinian people. It contains historical background of the israeli-palestinian conflict. The paper follows the evolution of the Palestinian refugee issue during the 20th century. Further it interprets demands of both sides of the conflict employing official resources of such organizations that represent Palestinian interests and Izraeli state institutions. Last, the issue is discussed again in the light of newly initiated peace talks between Israel and Palestinian Authority.

Forensic theory of a crime victim - victimology

Presented diploma paper is concerned with victims of criminal offences. The accent is mainly put on the criminalistic point of view, especiallly in the second, special part of the paper. Criminalistic point of view means to look at the crime victims as an important source of information which is leading to the capturing the offender and his reasonable punishement. Criminalistic victimology is relatively young discipline and its basics can be found in general victimology together with criminal science. It's development is not finished yet. Formerly the victims were definitely not in the criminalists center of focus, it was the offender who grabbed the main part of attention. But since 50's of last century, with the developement of victimology, the situation of crime victims is slowly getting better and their importance is more and more appreciated. Regarding to its roots in genaral victimology, the first part of the diploma paper is dealing with fundamental victimologic notions such as victimity or victimization, which are important to understand the whole area of victimology. The main theme of my graduation work is issue of what is going to happen with church at the second coming of Jesus Christ and what the rapture of the church means in a biblical context. My work is divided in three parts. First part examines how church solved issue of church and its eschatological rapture in past. That part shapes a frame of whole work. Biblical part analyzes texts of New Testament, which tells us about the rapture of the church. That part is base for next argumentation. And in the end, third part of the work is systematization of issue and its integration into whole eschatology.

The problemacy of domestic violence

The diploma thesis "Problemacy of domestic violence" deals with a serious social problem of nowadays. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. In theory there is definition of domestic violence, description of its specific attributes, kinds and occurence and it outlines the main theories of its causes. It is focused on intimate violence between partners, its myths and it explores a perpetrator and victim characteristics. Children as witnesses of intimate partner violence are noticed. Then explores how domestic violence is reflected in legal context and brings information about aid from uninitiated and prevention. Practical part analyzes questionnaire concerns attitude to domestic violence and it summarizes results in evaluation.

Health related quality of life in persons with severe mental illness

The Diploma Thesis concerns with a still up-to-date issue of the health related quality of life namely in persons with severe mental illness. The work is divided as usually in a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with a definition of a concept of quality of life (QoL) and with a concept of health related quality of life (HRQoL) and also with their theoretical and historical contexts. Realized studies in quality of life of persons with severe mental illness are described. Most of these abroad studies show that quality of life in persons with severe mental illness is worse than in general population and also worse than in ill with somatic diseases. It reveals predominantly in a social sphere. The term of severe mental illness (SMI) is elucidated and common characteristic of persons with severe mental illness are described, incl. influence of the illness on relatives of the patients. An issue of a care and help for severely mentally ill is even not neglected. The practical part makes us acquainted in the research of quality of life in severe mentally ill, which was realized in a day treatment program of the Clinic ESET. The purpose of this work is to analyze current state of copyright protection of the art works in regard of rising influence of the internet on the society. Nowadays, a large number of copyrighted data fluctuates through the internet and the character of the internet blocks efficient use of legislation for action against computer piracy. The first part of this work is oriented broadly. It contains evolution of the copyright in historical context, analyzes data downloading and uploading in juristic aspect and there are also significant suits, which routed the evolution of the copyright. There are described two main methods of data downloading and uploading in analytic part of this work -- peer-to-peer and warez forums -- with introduction of their main representatives, analysis of the current state and juristic analysis of their functioning. The last chapter resumes actual findings and tries to predict a future of the symbiosis of the copyright and the internet.

The level of knowledge on the issue of nutrition of students in the 2nd grade of elementary school in relation to their daily diet.

This bachelor thesis: The level of knowledge pertaining to the issue of the nutrition of second grade elementary students in relation to their everyday diet is theoretically defined in the introductory section, defining nutrition related terms. Individual chapters then go on to define the basic aspects and the relevance of good nutrition for the health of young children and young adults. Daily recommended amount, nutrition plans, alternative eating regimes and various nutritional mistakes are all discussed, particularly in the context of abnormal weight gain and other illnesses. The issue of educating young people about correct nutrition is also tackled. The practical component of the thesis describes the results of quantitative research carried out via questionnaire form. The aim of the questionnaire was to find out what relationship young children have towards their nutrition and test their knowledge on the subject. The research sample was aimed at children of 9th grade of elementary school, aged 14-16 in the Znojmo area.
