Analysis of organizations' approach to corporate social responsibility in comparison with requirements of the Global Reporting Initiative Standard.
Holinková, Jana ; Plášková, Alena (advisor) ; Hykš, Ondřej (referee)
The thesis deals with analysis of the quality of corporate social responsibility reports sampled from in Czech Republic seated organizations. First chaps concentrate on themes of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (CSR). The thesis treats of individual instruments in the field of CSR (standards, approaches or codes). The focus is concentrated on G3 Standard of Global Reporting Initiative, which is crucial for the whole analysis. GRI Standard is internationally reputable instrument for CSR reporting. Before the analysis itself the thesis offers short view of researches in the sphere of sustainable development. CSR reporting is still not a common practice among organizations doing business in Czech Republic. There are some exceptions. What is the quality of CSR reports of firms who are in Czech Republic corporate social responsible? Fundamental part of the thesis is concentrated in the analysis of five CSR reports according to the statement of requirements of GRI Standard. From the analysis results some recommendation for firms who want to report abreast of GRI Standard.

Genetic diversity and evolutionary history of Czech endemic taxa from the genus Dianthus
Kalůsková, Jana ; Suda, Jan (advisor) ; Chrtek, Jindřich (referee)
Abstract This MSc. thesis deals with karyological, genetic and phenotypic variation of selected taxa from the genus Dianthus L. in the Czech Republic and adjacent countries. The evolutionary history of the genus has been shaped by several microevolutionary processes, including interspecific hybridization, genome duplication, and edaphic speciation. These processes led to the origin of a number of phenotypically similar taxa, which are often restricted to a narrow geographic area. One subendemic and three endemic taxa occur in the Czech Republic. These (sub)species were used as model groups to gain insight into microevolutionary processes in small populations and the postglacial development of the genus in Central Europe. The thesis consists of three parts, each addressing different evolutionary phenomenon: Dianthus arenarius subsp. bohemicus is a critically endangered endemic psammophyte currently known from a single population in Central Bohemia. The site is also inhabited by widespread D. carthusianorum. Interspecific hybridization has been suspected on the basis of morphological characters, but this has never been confirmed by any other technique. I exploited differences in the number of chromosomes between both species and, with the aid of DAPI flow cytometry, estimated relative DNA contents of...

When a Solution is Available or Three Angles on Graph Paper
Dvořáková, Hana ; Jančařík, Antonín (referee) ; Slezáková, Jana (advisor)
My diploma thesis contains the solving description of three tasks: seeking after the shortest ways in a grid rectangle m x n, exploring the location of grid isosceles triangles within the frame of cross-section paper, and identifying the number of grid abscissas with at least one grid point and with the marginal points on the rectangle perimeter m x n. The task solving is accompanied by self-reflection method. Experiments with primary school pupils are analyzed in the next part of the diploma thesis. The experiments' tasks are similar to the ones I solved. Seeking after the shortest ways task was already solved and subsequently described in another diploma thesis. This method is analyzed and compared with my own in the next chapter. The diploma thesis also contains a chapter about cognitive process, which is the theoretical background for these analyses. The tasks in the last chapter are either related to the previous mentioned tasks or they develop meta-cognitive abilities necessary for task solving. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Keywords The awareness of children rights, rights and the responsibility, rights and duties, the moral awareness, education at Children rights, key competence. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Devices and equipment for detection of toxic substances used in the Army of the Czech republic.
STARŠÍ, David
The aim of this bachelor work is primarily evaluate the preparation of chemical observers and members of cooperatives radiation and chemical reconnaissance, in the detection of toxic substances and their possible use in cooperation with the Integrated Rescue System. In the theoretical part is mainly described techniques and devices, which have military units, a brief explanation of the Central Emergency Plan and the Chief's of the General Staff regulation, which represent the obligations of the Army of the Czech Republic to the strengthening of the integrated rescue system in case of emergency. The first part of the research question aims to determine how is carried out the training of the chemical of observers and members of cooperatives radiation and chemical reconnaissance, whether the training is done according to applicable standards, is sufficient and the most widely used technique and equipment used by the military. Furthermore, whether it would be appropriate to increase the number of chemical observers and members of cooperatives radiation and chemical reconnaissance, or by increasing hours of theoretical and practical training led to greater readiness chemical team members. It is important to note that the function of the chemical observer is not the primary systemized occupation which the professional soldiere held, but the function is affiliated functions to systemized occupation. The second part of the research question focuses on the readiness of chemical teams of individual units on strengthening and coordinate activities together with the Integrated Rescue System, their possible use, and whether carried out coordinated training between these components. Within the objectivity were approached members of both air forces and ground forces. The planned output of this thesis was to processing of data of the readiness of radiation and chemical reconnaissance teams to strengthen the Integrated Rescue System within the detection of toxic substances and determine whether soldiers are a sufficiently trained for the strengthening of the Integrated Rescue System within the detection of toxic substances.

Stochastic analysis of shear failure of reinforced concrete beams
Kucek, Martin ; Doležel, Jiří (referee) ; Novák, Drahomír (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on a solution of the load reaction of the bridge construction from girders KA-73. Proposal methods of the nonlinear analysis by means of final elements on the stochastic and deterministic level are used for the solution of the load reaction. A simulation technique Latin Hypercube Sampling is used within the stochastic analysis. A material degradation in the form of the trussing corrosion is solved with the expected decrease of the construction lifetime. The conclusion of the thesis contains an evaluation of initial quantities of material parameters for the load reaction of the construction in the form of the sensitivity analysis.

Natural Sources of Chlorinated Volatile Hydrocarbons in Spruce Forest Undergrowth
Štangelová, Pavla ; Wimmer, Zdeněk ; Tesařová, E. ; Forczek, Sándor
Chlorine as one of the most frequently occurring elements in nature, is involved in biogeochemical\ncycles. Several anthropogenic and even natural sources of volatile chlorinated hydrocarbons of\nemission is known, yet natural sources have not been explored enough. The aim of this study is to\ngather information of potential sources of chlorinated organic hydrocarbons in spruce forest\nundergrowth. Emissions of chlorinated volatile hydrocarbons of selected species of bryophytes,\nferns and fungi were measured by SMPE sampling technique and analyzed with GC-MS analysis.\nSodium chloride solution was used as a stressor to simulate increased environmental chloride load.\nTrichloromethane (chloroform) was found in most natural samples, dichloromethane,\ntetrachloroethene and tetrachloromethane were found occasionally. Increased chloride\nconcentration caused elevated emissions of trichloromethane and tetrachloromethane in some plant\nspecies.

Cinematic Storytelling in Comics
Saska, Jan ; MAŠEK, Vojtěch (advisor) ; VAJCHR, Marek (referee)
The aim of this work is to point out the similarity of film and comics and thus also the possibility to read some film studies (or analyse films) with an overlap into the medium of comics. The selected method consists of analysing cinematic storytelling techniques and means of expression and their further use in the comics medium. To reach that aim this work uses an image appendix which in main part consists of the first chapter of the Watchmen by Alan Moore.
