Correspondence of Kutná Hora and Kolín from 1560s to White mountain
Skřivanová, Veronika ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (referee) ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor)
The final thesis investigates 801 traced inscriptions which originate in four city books of received correspondence of Kutná Hora and in ten city books of received correspondecne of Kolín. Further sources are 2 letteres from the years 1587 and 1588 from the State archive of the district of Kolín and 2 letteres from the years 1573 and 1587 from the State archive of the district of Kutná Hora. In the introduction, there is mentioned the summary of the literature which deals with city`s, noble`s and sovereign`s correspondence. The terms "city book of sent correspondence" and "city book of received correspondence" are explained and the characterization of used sources occurs as well. This work explains to us the environment of the town of Kutná Hora and Kolín in the Pre -White Mountain Period. The 4th chapter of this work deals with the term and the process of communication not only theoratically, but first of all practically on the example of Kutná Hora`s and Kolín`s city counsellors. The 5th chapter is focused on the content of official correspondence sent between Kutná Hora and Kolín. Through the citations we will learn more about the property matters of dwellers of both cities. We will mention cases concern city corporations and matters of commune character. In the annexe to this final thesis can be found...
The role of main excitatory and inhibitory transmitters in epileptic seizures and the effect of antiepileptic drugs in the immature brain
Liptáková, Soňa ; Mareš, Pavel (advisor) ; Komárek, Vladimír (referee) ; Šlamberová, Romana (referee)
Epilepsy affects 50 million people worldwide. Approximately 50% of epilepsies start in the infancy and childhood. In addition, there are several age-bound epileptic syndromes which are difficult to treat. Due to these facts, developmental studies of epileptic seizures are of primary importance. Predominance of excitation over inhibition is a mechanism of nearly all types of epileptic seizures. Hypothesis that this compromised balance can be normalized by drugs affecting main excitatory and inhibitory system at different stages of brain development was tested in models with different pathogenesis. Our studies demonstrated that seizures induced by derrangement of GABAergic inhibition can be suppressed by antagonists of NMDA receptors (MK-801) and vice versa seizures with glutamatergic pathogenesis can be affected by drugs potentiating GABAergic system (valproate, ganaxolone) at all developmental stages in immature rats. Analysis of site of action of NMDA receptor antagonists demonstrated reciprocal function of anterior and posterior parts of substantia nigra, structure important for spread of epileptic activity to spinal cord. Special attention was given to an age-dependent model - flexion, emprosthotonic seizures elicited by administration of NMDA. Valproic acid, which potentiates GABAergic inhibition,...
The motor and cognitive consequences of inborn cerebellar degeneration and some possibilities how to influence it
Křížková, Alena ; Vožeh, František (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mareš, Jan (referee)
The motor and cognitive consequences of inborn cerebellar degeneration and some possibilities how to influence it The cerebellum is traditionally considered to be a coordinator of movements and equilibrium and a regulator of muscular tone. Participation of the cerebellum on the motor learning has been discovered later. Besides that, there is increasing experimental and clinical evidence supporting the idea of an important role of the cerebellum in common cognitive functions. Increasing number of experimental works - especially those on animals - demonstrate an effect of the the cerebellum on the memory and different types of learning. A suitable model to study the cerebellar degeneration are Lurcher mutant mice. During their lives, there is a progressive loss of Purkinje cells followed by a loss of granular cells and inferior oliva neurons. We concentrated on the following problems in this work: - development of motor learning and topical motor skills during the first month of life - positive and negative changes in NO synthesis and subsequent effect on discriminative learning - effect of administration of MK-801(non-competitive antagonist of NMDA receptors) on discriminative learning of Lurcher mutants and wild mice derived from two strains (C3H and C57B1/7). Lurcher mutants and wild mice were put in motor...

Hlučnost v chovu skotu po rekonstrukci stáje na vybrané farmě
KADLEC, Ondřej
The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the issues of the current trends in livestock breeding, focusing mainly on buildings, engineering, and the technology used in livestock breeding. The theoretical part also deals with the issue of welfare in livestock breeding and the solutions to this problem. The last topic discussed in the theoretical part of the thesis is noise and its sources in livestock breeding. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the description of the observed stable building and its surroundings and the measurement of the noise levels LpA during work, considering both the livestock and the staff. The calculated equivalent noise levels are used to evaluate the noise levels in the work premises and the noise pressure on the animals.

Problem solving and problem posing (not only in teacher training)
Hošpesová, A. ; Tichá, Marie
Problem solving we can support by problem posing. The paper shows the different possibilities of problem posing (to a given calculation, to the given data or results, to given structure) and their illustrations through problems posed by students and teachers. It is outlined that problem posing can be understood as a goal of education, training and diagnostic tool and as a source of motivation.
Mysterium Hoericense. The Transformations of the Memory of a Place in the 19th and 20th Century
PALKOVIČ, Jan
The submitted work deals with Passion plays at Hořice na Šumavě (in the district of Český Krumlov) since their origination in 1816, over their temporary decline until their restoration in 1993. It briefly describes the historical development and the contents of the story put on stage, however, the main exploring attention is paid to the memory of a place and cultural expression as a means of showing identity for the German and Czech inhabitants of Hořice na Šumavě. Apart from written sources, regional literature published by Sudeten Germans was used as well as oral history techniques. The aim of these efforts was to document the changes of cultural landscape and social structure of the Sudetenland as a result of post-war power pressure.
