Interactive Visualisation of RELAX NG Schemas

The aim of this thesis is to create a tool for visualisation of RELAX NG schemas. RELAX NG schemas define a form of XML documents. They determine what elements and attributes can be used in the document and how they can be combined. Visualisation of schemas enables easier orientation in the structure of RELAX NG patterns. This can be useful for both developers of schemas and users who use schemas for creation of XML documents. RELAX NG schema can be written using XML, which enables its visual representation by means of tree structure. Moreover, the model of the tree is interactive which enables users to display only the branches they are interested in. The aim will be reached in several steps. At first, it is necessary to analyze properly the structures of RELAX NG language with respect to their future visualisation. Next step is SVG format for description of vector graphics. SVG format can be written using XML as well. Interactivity of the model described by SVG is enabled by ECMAScript. The conversion from RELAX NG to SVG graphics will be done by means of XSLT transformation. The main contribution of this thesis will be the visualisation which facilitates the orientation in the schema for both users and developers. Only XSLT processor and a file with XSLT transformation will be needed for the visualisation of RELAX NG. The file with XSLT transformation will be the output of this thesis. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is focused on the analysis of the structures of RELAX NG language and the possibilities of their visualisation. Particular attention will be given to the current possibilities of graphic interpretation of schemas. The second part is devoted to the design of graphic symbols for individual nodes of the graphic model and the possibilities of their interaction. The third part deals with the prototype implementation of transformation of RELAX NG to SVG graphics.

Risk management in IS/ICT projects

Cílem této práce je uspořádat a obohatit teoretickou základnu řízení rizik v projektovém managementu, analyzovat a zhodnotit přístup k této problematice dle metodiky PMBOK a poskytnout základní praktický pohled na řízení rizik ve skutečných projektech z oblasti IS/ICT. Vlastní text je strukturován do sedmi kapitol, z nichž první poskytuje úvod a vymezení celé práce. Ve druhé kapitole je proveden úvod do oblasti řízení rizik v projektech a dále analyzován přístup a základní principy metodiky řízení projektu PMBOK. Ve třetí kapitole je uveden seznam projektových rizik, který byl vytvořen a popsán na základě průzkumu literatury, diskusí s odborníky a praktických zkušeností autora. Ve čtvrté kapitole, která obsahuje řadu nových teoretických pojmů, jsou poté popsány autorem identifikované různé způsoby řízení rizik projektu podle jeho základních charakteristik. Pátá kapitola se zaměřuje na posouzení metodiky PMBOK vzhledem ke všem zjištěným typům rizik a identifikovaným způsobům jejich řízení a pokouší se o její doplnění. V šesté kapitole jsou konečně využity všechny poznatky získané ve všech předchozích kapitolách a je provedena jejich aplikace na oblast IS/ICT, mimo jiné pomocí vzorového příkladu obsahujícího některé autorem navržené analytické nástroje. V sedmé kapitole je provedeno závěrečné zhodnocení.

The Aim of Communication between an Accompanying Runner and a Visually Impaired Athlete

Name: The aim of communication between an accompanying runner and a visually handicapped atlete Project goal: In my diploma thesis, I would like to pay attention to athletics as a suitable sports activity for visually handicapped persons and inform the readers about the problems of athletics of visually handicapped people. Another objective is to specify the aim of communication between a visually handicapped sportsman and an accompanying runner. Methodology: Summary of available literature and electronic information sources; the collection of data by means of a questionnaire; discussions with visually handicapped athletes; subsequent comparison to existing experience and the evaluation ofnew conclusions. Results: Athletics IS a suitable sports activity for visually handicapped people. Long-term co- operation of an athlete and an accompanying runner markedly influences the sports performance. Mutual communication, created during the athletic training, is also an important element for the performance increase. Mutual communication is characteristic for each athletic couple and therefore it is not possible to follow points, which were set in advance. Fundraising in the nonprofit organization Náruč, z.s.

This thesis focuses on the theme of fundraising and describes the change in the organisational structure, which involves the creation of the position of a fundraiser at the non- profit organisation Náruč, z.s. Náruč, z.s. is a provider of complex social services for socially disadvantaged and persons with disabilities. It is also an operator of the social firm Kavárna Modrý domeček (Café Little Blue House), which provides employment opportunities for socially disadvantaged and persons with disabilities. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part consists of a detailed overview of both foreign and domestic funding sources available to NGOs. Fundraising is introduced as a separate discipline. Origin and history of fundraising, different types of fundraisers, tools and methods of fundraising are examined. The practical part presents a case study that deals with the creation of a job position of a fundraiser and integration of this position into an organisational structure of a particular organisation. This was done on the basis of a diagnostic investigation and a thorough analysis. The formulation of ethical issues and labor standards are included as well. Presentation of Tangible Current Assets according to the IFRS

This work is focused od Tangible Current Assests according to the IFRS with the emphasis on IAS 16 - Property, Plant and Equipment. It involves recognition, measurement, depreciation and also disclosure of this Assests. All the parts are described at great lenght and explained by practical examples. IAS 40 - Investment Property and IFRS 5 - Non-Current Assests Held for Sale and Discontinued Operations are also mentioned. The end of the work is devoted to research of 15 companies with the aim to find out, how the theory determined by Standards is functioned in practice.

The Czech pension system, its problems and possibilities of the reform

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to give a complex view of the Czech pension system to the reader. In recent years pensions and their associated problems have been the main theme of many discussions. We often hear politicians and experts speaking about the financial problems of the Czech pension system and its unavoidable reform. The preamble of this thesis deals with different situations in the Czech pension system, the rules under which it operates and its history. The body of this work is focused on the analysis of fundamental problems and their effects on the contemporary pension system in the Czech Republic. The emphases in the thesis are on demographic trends; the ageing process; receipts and expenditures of the Czech pension system; the political situation and public opinion in the Czech Republic. The conclusion of this thesis describes various reforms for the Czech pension system and mentions basic information about the Slovak pension system.

Noise emissions in farming chickens for fattening

The thesis is focused on the sources of noise in agricultural operations in terms of noise emissions. Agricultural operation in this case was a hall for fattening chickens for meat. The main goal is practical to measure all sources of noise generated during the various operations fattening. The work was primarily necessary to choose suitable habitats for measuring noise sources and measurements of climatic conditions. Followed by calculation of equivalent noise levels and evaluation under applicable legislation. As part of the work was proposed noise protection measures, which would partly help reduce the impact of noise emissions.

Statistical analysis of drug addiction in the South Bohemia Region

The aim of this thesis is the statistical analysis of drug users of drugs other than alcohol in the south bohemian region for the period 2005-2014. Drug addiction is analyzed according to the number of drug users and their average age and by individual drugs used. Another part of the thesis is the analysis of drug-related crime, which is estimated according to the number of drug offenders, according to their sex, age and nationality. Another indicator of statistical analysis are preventive programs operating in the South Region. With the help of elemental characteristics of time lines and trend functions is calculated estimated future development of these indicators for 2015 - 2017. Part of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the situation of drug addiction in the South Region, with suggestions for solving this problem.

Cílem disertační práce je navrhnout metodu hodnocení vztahů se zákazníky. Mezi hlavní přínosy disertační práce pro teorii Customer Relationship Managementu (CRM) patří: Komplexní analýza současného stavu hodnocení vztahů se zákazníky. Návrh obecných kritérií hodnocení vztahu se zákazníkem popisujících základní složky hodnoty vztahu a jejich ověření. Identifikace a systematizace principů konceptu CRM. Návrh integrace hodnotících procesů do cyklu CRM včetně identifikace principů fungování cyklu CRM. Návrh systému hodnocení vztahů se zákazníky. Návrh obecného předpisu hodnotící funkce, typů oborů hodnot funkce a konceptu dimenze indikátoru hodnoty vztahu se zákazníkem. Návrh obecného a specifického modelu hodnocení vztahů se zákazníky, prvků modelu a determinantů prvků modelu. Návrh struktury procesu hodnocení vztahů. Ověření předpokladů obecného modelu hodnocení vztahů. Ověření hypotéz modifikace obecného modelu hodnocení podle specifických vlastností hodnotící firmy. Návrh manažerského nástroje VMT (Valuation Model Tool) a způsobu jeho praktické aplikace.

The effectiveness of communication tools in response to employee satisfaction survey

The work is concerned with the effective communication tools in a selected company. The aim is to describe the various means of communication, analyze their effectiveness and propose solutions for problematic means of communication. The object of the work is a medium sized company operating in the field of logistics. In this thesis methods of survey research, analysis of internal documentation and observation are used. In conclusion, the thesis is to evaluate the efficiency of communication in relation to employee satisfaction survey and recommended some improvements for more efficient use of communication devices in the selected company.
