Suchá, Tereza ; Kropáčková, Jana (advisor) ; Felcmanová, Lenka (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the diagnostic use of the drawing in kindergarten in children aged 5-6 years, compares the drawings from the point of view of rightness and left-handedness. It describes the characteristics of a pre-school child and summarizes the development of its personality in the physical, mental and social spheres. In part of the theoretical part, the work is generally familiar with the education of a child in kindergarten. The specifics of pre-school education and school maturity and readiness are elaborated in more detail. The core part describes the characteristic features of rendering of the drawing in pre-school age and defines the individual stages of drawing development. The research part of the thesis focuses on the drawing of children in kindergarten. Specifically for the analysis of children's drawings, which provides a closer look at understanding the child's artistic expression before entering elementary school. The bachelor thesis draws attention to the deferment of left-handed children and their number in kindergarten. The aim of the work is to follow and then evaluate the expressions from the point of view of the correctness and the left-handiness of the children before the beginning of the compulsory school attendance. Laterality in social and locomotory behaviour of domestic pigs (Sus scrofa f. domestica)
Kunclová, Kristýna ; Špinka, Marek (advisor) ; Nekovářová, Tereza (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether pigs exhibit laterality in social behavior, especially the laterality of rotational movements in game behavior and social interactions. We aimed also to explore how this laterality is influenced by other factors, especially the possibilities of playful behavior in ontogenesis, personality and others social and non-social factors. Alternatively, whether the degree of laterality determined varies depending on the social situation (game / aggression) and whether is influenced by the litter. I have investigated this behavior for 64 pigs in 16 litters from videotapes of their social behavior. For each pig, I recorded the playing element and the preferential side. For individual game elements I did not find any preference for rotation at the population level and only a slight tendency for individual laterality. For social game elements, I have shown a weak population tendency to prefer left side, but only for a group of more playing pigs. The main contribution of this work is the symmetry found in the implementation of individual game elements and, on the contrary, the observed laterality at the population level for social game behavior. Since the laterality of playful behavior has not yet been investigated, it is possible that this symmetry is...
Forced laterality changes in childhood and their influence on the overall development of personality
Ťupová, Tereza ; Klenková, Jiřina (advisor) ; Kopečný, Petr (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with laterality, the research presents analysis of laterality of six adult people with forced changes in laterality. Then it describes the development of laterality and its types, degrees, types and diagnostics. There is also a historical approach to the left-hand side from the Stone Age to the present. The work focuses on forced changes in laterality in childhood and their influence on the overall development of personality. Six adult respondents, three men and three women aged thirty- eight to seventy-two years were tested for qualitative research. The effects of laterality change were observed in speech, psyche, state of laterality, reading and written speech. The aim of the work was to describe the difficulties that may arise as a result of a forced change in laterality, to find out whether the respondents have to face and to discover their possible survival to adulthood. For all respondents, the laterality and type determined by the test was tested, which was a partial goal. For all respondents, during the interviews, problems related to forced changes in laterality in childhood were manifested or discussed.

Vocásek, Jan ; Satrapová, Lenka (advisor) ; Nováková, Tereza (referee)
Author: Bc. Jan Vocásek Thesis title: Analysis of the shoulder girdle injury and therapy of overhead athletes in Czech republic Cíl: The aim of the thesis was to create a literal research for the shoulder girdle injuries of overhead athletes, theoretically to write the anatomical and kinesiological characteristics of the shoulder girdle, to analyze the biomechanics, injury mechanisms in individual overhead sports, rehabilitation treatment and to find out how frequent the injuries of athletes in the Czech Republic follow-up treatment varies from abroad. Methods: For the purpose of this research was established a non-standardized questionnaire, based on literature studied and research questions, and then was distributed to 6 selected physicians dealing with this issue in the Czech Republic, who anonymously filled out questions regarding the shoulder joint injury based on their own clinical experiences. Results: Four of the six hypotheses were confirmed from the data obtained. The number of patients with shoulder girdle injuries in overhead sports in the Czech Republic has risen year- on-year and the most common injury is SLAP lesion. Ability to write with a nondominant limb in adult population
Ševčíková, Iveta
v anglickém jazyce This thesis analyses the ability to write by a nondominant limb in adult population. First three (theoretical) chapters introduce the issue of communication, aphasia, laterality and writing skills. The fourth chapter brings the research which was realized with a group of intact people. The research compares the results of the test written by dominant and nondominant limb. The aim of this diploma thesis is the contribution to a validity verification of testing writing skills by a nondominant limb

The possibilities of getting information about the problematic of left-handness are summed, including books and trainings for primary school teachers. Finally, available equipment for left-handers is introduced. The research combines two methods - questionnaire and interview. The quantitative research is supposed to come up with the concrete percentage of left-handed pupils and with the general knowledge of teachers connected with methodology of left-hander's writing. The qualitative research was made by the form of interiewing teachers and Ivo Vodička. The aim of the thesis is to find out the way how to train teachers effectively based on researched information. Manifestation of cerebellar dominance in the form of extinction physiological syndrome on upper and lower limbs and its relationship to human laterality
Rybář, Adam ; Musálek, Martin (advisor) ; Tlapáková, Eva (referee)
1 Title: Manifestation of cerebellar dominance in the form of extinction physiological syndrome on upper and lower limbs and its relationship to human laterality. Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to determinate size of relationship between manifestation of cerebellar dominance in the form of extinction physiological syndrome and preference of limbs. Methods: A total of 27 individuals (male and female students of UK FTVS) were involved in the current quantitative research. We used indicators which were selected from Musalek's test battery (2013) to assess limb preferences. The evaluation of joint passivity asymmetry was based on angle and time parameters during walk and during controlled falls of forearm and shank on a constructed fall-machine. The movement was registered in real time by Qualisys Motion Capture System. For data analysis, descriptive statistics methods, paired t-test, level of statistical and substantive significance (Cohen's d) and tetrachoric coefficient of correlation were used. Results: Our research suggests that there is no significant difference in joint passivity when comparing preferred and non preferred limbs. Though it is necessary to take into consideration specifics and the size of research sample in which everybody was an active athlete. The result of tetrachoric...
