Creation of selected competence models for the professional development of the employees

The thesis deals with the creation of three competencies models, based on a competencies analysis for selected non-managerial job roles requiring further professional development, namely Warehouse Coordinator, Junior Accountant and Sales Administrative Assistant. The duly compiled competencies model then creates a realistice representation of the knowledge and skills the staff need for the given job role. When it comes to the professional development and training of existing staff, the competencies model is a reliable tool for identifying the educational needs of individual employees, and detecting hidden talents in good time. This makes it easier to set the developmental, educational and training activities for the employee, not only to achieve the required competencies, but also to meet the goals of the organization as a whole. The thesis contributes by having undertaken a competencies analysis and created three competencies models, together with proposals and recommendations for their use in the professional development and training of the employees concerned. Competences of senior academics at the educational organization

The thesis deals with the definition of the term competence and competency model of a senior academic at a university. The term "competence" can be understood as a set of knowledge, skills, abilities, habits, attitudes and values of a given individual that enable him/her to perform "with competence" in some area of his/her activity. It is also possible to describe in this way the ability of a person to act correctly in a certain situation based on the use of their own resources (abilities, skills, knowledge, etc.). The definitions of competencies of staff working in educational institutions are important not only in the curriculum, where the individual in the educational field affects the personal development of individuals or groups, but also in terms of staff hierarchy, including the definition of responsibilities and competences. The thesis defines such terms as executive and university; this type of schools can be further divided into public, state and private universities. Competency model of director nursery school

The bachelor thesis deals with the competences of the nursery school director. The aim of this work is to create a proposal of a competency model of the nursery school director. In the theoretical part it defines the concept of competence by means of specialized literature and denotes the competences needed for leading employees. It describes the types of competencies and the origin, types and use of competency models. In the empirical part, based on the analysis of interviews and mind maps of the nursery school director, a proposal for a competency model for the director. The work is intended for future nursery school director who are preparing for bankruptcy proceedings, but it can also be used to identify areas that existing directors of nursery schools and their representatives could or should continue to develop as part of their professional development and as an inspiration for creating a competency model of a nursery school managera.
The competence profile of volunteers coordinator in a sport event

Title: The competency profile of the coordinator of volunteers at a sports event Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to create the competency profile of the coordinator of volunteers, primarily from the perspective of volunteers, for the needs of organizers of sports events especially in the Labe aréna Račice. The secondary tasks are to create the same profile from the perspective of managers, then from the perspective of volunteers and managers and to compare those particular perspectives. Methods: The thesis combines qualitative and quantitative methods. Based on expert literature studies and interviews with the coordinators of volunteers and other managers of sports events a list of competencies necessary for the effective work of the coordinator of volunteers was created. Then the importance of individual competencies was evaluated by written questioning of volunteers at the 2019 Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint European Championships. Results: The created competency profile includes 20 competencies that were evaluated by volunteers as the most important ones. Headmaster's competency at secondary technical schools with technical focus

The diploma thesis deals with the current topic of headmaster's competence at secondary vocational schools, technically oriented. The thesis is based on the general theory of competencies and competency models. It aims to identify the headmaster's competencies at the technical vocational school in Prague and based on these findings create the competence model. On the basis of the literature search, a research was carried out, its purpose was to find out what competences the those people possess, i.e. to identify these competencies and to compile a competence model. The questionnaire survey technique was used as the first, data collection technique. Within the questionnaire survey, all headmasters and deputy headmasters were approached at 15 secondary technical schools in Prague. The third group of respondents was consisted of the founder of these schools. Through the questionnaire survey, we determined the importance of individual competencies. The second used technique was a semi-structured interview with selected representatives of respondent groups (headmasters and deputy headmasters). Applying the Competence Model in the Public Business Academy

The thesis deals with the use of competences and competency model as an effective tool of personnel management of the organization. Competency - based / HR / Management (CBM) is an actively used model primarily in the commercial sphere. However, in recent years, more and more government organizations have also approached this governance model. The theoretical and empirical part of the thesis deals with the issue of acquiring and using various types of competencies, compiling a competency model and their subsequent application in personnel management. The definition of basic terms and principles of competency management is based on the study of professional literature and binding documents that link the principles of competence management to the lifelong learning strategy and learning organization models. The empirical part first deals with the actual use of competencies and competency models in the conditions of public business academies in Prague and Central Bohemia. Competency framework for head teachers - harmony in opinion of primary school head teachers and their founders

The diploma thesis with the competency framework for head teachers, aims to examine and describe which partial competencies and spheres of competencies are important for primary school head teachers, and whether the founders of the schools are familiar with their opinions. The study is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The first chapter of the thesis deals with competencies, illuminates development of the term's usage in the Czech environment, and delineates the two primary levels of the concept - competency as an authority and competency as a set of knowledge, skills, experience etc. The second chapter explores competencies of the founders and their relationship with primary school head teachers. In this case, founders are represented by public authorities such as communities, community unions, or city districts. This chapter clarifies the concept of competency as a formal power/authority to make a decision and take responsibility in specific cases. The third chapter deals with competencies of primary school head teachers on both of the aforementioned levels. The theme of this thesis is to design a managing system of a particular group of financial advisors through managing a development of competences. In this work, you will learn about financial advisory field, the broker group and the specific business team, for which the proposal was created. To be successful as a financial advisor, an associate needs to master variety of competences. The ability to manage the work results is especially connected with manager's skills to control the team members' capability of achieving the targeted results and therefore his ability of controlling their competence levels. The suggested competence model is created for needs of the particular business team and is based on objective methods. The model is further used as a management tool. This is allowed by adding a rule of use and an evaluation system. The design of the system implementation contains a recommendation for introduction into the firm and a financial evaluation of the implementation investments.

The target of this thesis is to revise current appraisal system at company Ipsos s.r.o., evaluate it on a basis of comparation with theoretical principles and based on analysis of data, obtained by questioning in form of interviews or surveys, come up with optimalization. In the theoretical part, I will draw up the informations from the literature, describe the criteria of evaluation, the procedures used and also the differences between the evaluation of the subordinates and the evaluation of the managers. In the practical part, the information will be drawn from IPSOS s.r.o. materials, from the interviews of the evaluators and from the staff of the Human Resources Department as well.
