Digital twin concept for hydraulic machines
Klement, Jan ; Burda, Radim (referee) ; Rudolf, Pavel (advisor)
The term “Digital twin” is associated with Industry 4.0. It is a projection of an object into a virtual environment, which enables to predict behaviour and explore the existing behaviour. In engineering, such objects can be components, machines, or entire companies. Subsequently, Digital twin helps to determine the most suitable operation depending on the conditions. This thesis deals with the possibilities of digital twin. Subsequently, it describes the current state of turbomachinery, concentrating in particular on hydraulic machines in the field of Digital twin. The final part of the thesis describes the concept for creating a Digital twin for a centrifugal pump.
Asset Administration Shell for PLC
Maslowski, Jakub ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor work gradually summarizes the findings regarding I4.0, as well as its basic parts (AAS, RAMI and DT). Subsequently, it focuses on the description of AAS with regard to the necessary compromises from its original idea with the aim of its successful implementation in PLC, which represents some limitations. The work includes solutions of suitable communication protocols for AAS in PLC. The practical part focuses on the implementation of AAS in PLC from Siemens S7-1200 series using OPC UA methods. SiOME and UaExpert programs are used in the creation. The thesis contains detailed instructions for replication of AAS implementation together with suggestions for possible improvements and its benefits in practise.
Lab Automation with SCARA Robot
Machala, Jan ; Lang, Stanislav (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and program a robotic cell for processing Covid-19 laboratory samples. To prevent the leakage of hazardous substances into the environment, the entire robotic cell is restricted to the space of a laminar box. The Epson LS3-B SCARA robot was chosen for handling the tubes. The robotic cell was designed using a digital twin in the simulation environment of Epson RC+ software. The digital twin facilitated the prototyping of the robot end effector and helped to detect any collisions that may have occurred in the confined space. After successful design using the digital twin, this robot cell was assembled and tested in a real-world environment.
Modelling of the Gear Pump Manufacturing
Horák, Michal ; Rožňák, Ing Martin (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis and optimization of production lines of the gear pump components. Specifically, it is pre-production, ie a production line for machining gears and production line for machining of bodies. These two components are then assembled on the assembly line. The creation of a simulation model in the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation program, which corresponds to the real state of production lines, is used for optimization. The simulation model is then used to perform the proposed experiments in order to optimize production lines and select the ideal solution with respect to the selected objectives.
Digital Twin Design of the Machine Tool
Kroupa, Jiří ; Holubek,, Radovan (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Singule, Vladislav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design of a digital twin of machine tools. The main objective is to design a digital twin of a machine tool. A survey in the field of digital twins shows an ambiguous view of the concept of digital twin. Therefore, it is proceeded to formulate a systematic definition of digital twin and its main components. The definition is then expanded to include a design methodology for the digital twin. This methodology is applied in the second part of the thesis to the design of a digital twin of a UVSSR Cell manufacturing cell. As a result, it is possible to design a digital twin representing a tool for solving three technical problems which are monitoring the state of the technical system, prediction of the positioning accuracy error caused by temperature changes and user support in the operation of the technical system. Finally, the software and hardware part of the proposed digital twin is implemented together with the developed communication interface integrating the user through virtual and augmented reality.
Design of inter-operational transport in a manufacturing company according to the Industry 4.0 concept
Mravec, Roman ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Bayer, Robert (advisor)
Based on the description and definition of technology and processes falling within the vision of the fourth industrial revolution with the aim of creating intelligent factories, this diploma thesis deals with the principles of the Industry 4.0 concept in Hilti's production plant with a focus on transport and supply of production equipment. The aim of the work is to create a comprehensive proposal that takes into account all the necessary aspects associated with upgrading the existing state of inter-operational transport in a particular production line to fully automated, flexible and autonomous transport of materials and products in the context of Industry 4.0. A prerequisite for creating a design is the connection of automatically guided vehicles (AGVs) serving individual transport orders. The selection of the vehicle was made taking into account the safety of movement, the method of charging, the system and network integrity of existing and proposed technologies and components. The intention is not only to automate the inter-operational service, but also on the basis of the created automation concept, the ability to autonomously procure the flow of material and products. The mathematical calculation of capacity planning in the production line helped to determine the total load and the number of vehicles needed for continuous procurement of transport requirements. The result of the design part is also the design of specific transport routes and transport conditions that AGV vehicles must comply with in order to maintain a high level of safety. Transparency and a constant overview of transported products is provided by the presented scheme for identification of production batches, Auto-ID system. The financial efficiency of the whole project elaborated in the diploma thesis is evaluated as payable after 4 years from the implementation of the proposal. The financial efficiency of the whole project elaborated in the diploma thesis is evaluated as payable after 4 years from the implementation of the proposal due to high labor costs.
Possibilities of use of data-driven and model-based methods in diagnostics - state of the art
Fazlić, Aida ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes data-driven and model-based methods in the field of diagnostics of technical systems and the use of a combination of data-driven and model-based methods. This combination is often known in the literature as a hybrid approach.
Optimization of the Coil Forming Workplace
Machačová, Simona ; Janírek, Martin Stanislav (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the analysis of the production process and its optimization. Improvement is achieved thanks to a predictive simulation. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the concepts associated with the process management of the company and measurement of work. Furthermore, the theoretical part focuses on the improvement of business processes within the process of digitalization and methodology of simulation projects associated with the creation of a predictive digital twin. The analytical part contains an introduction of the manufacturing company and a global analysis of processes. Then, with the help of several techniques, the production process which will be optimized is analyzed. The design part of the thesis describes the current simulation models and the proposed form of the process. Individual options are evaluated, and the benefits of the proposed solution are stated.
Optimization of the production process in the sense of Industry 4.0
Sázavský, Jakub ; Březina, Michal (referee) ; Mauder, Tomáš (advisor)
Particularly the future of industry is and will be defined by the concept of Industry 4.0. Therefore, this thesis aims to describe the basic conceptions of Industry 4.0 in relation to the production process and demonstrate the possibilities of digital twin by using simplified model of a real production line. It explains terms such as the production process, the concept of Industry 4.0 and the queueing theory. The practical part includes a model of the section of a line in the printing company by the program Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, identification of bottlenecks, possibilities of optimization and evaluation of their impacts. Then there is an example from business practice and drawn conclusions.
