Jan Blažek Supervisor 's e-mail address: blazek@utia.cas.cz Abstract: This bachelor thesis is dealing with the classification of earth colours origin based on its chemical composition. For classification is used K-means classificator, Bayes classificator and self made classification algorithms. Part of this bachelor thesis is also public web service [http://klasifikatorhlinek.somee.com] that contains the classification algorithms. Key words: classification, k-means, Bayess classificator, weight ratio
Boccia, specifications of the game and possible factors influencing the performance of a player
Herrmann, Jiří ; Levitová, Andrea (advisor) ; Prokešová, Eva (referee)
Title: Boccia, its specifications and possible factors affecting the performance of a player. Aim: The main aim of this thesis is to describe the game boccia as a top level sport. The thesis is also focused on topics connected with the issues of fair play and various factors which might complicate fair play maintaining in this sport. Methodology: In the theoretical part of the thesis boccia is described as a unique sport offering active sport to people with severe physical disabilities - for example spastic quadriplegia. The knowledge of adaptive sport and boccia is briefly summarized. The thesis focuses not only on history, rules, classification, equipment but the interesting aspects such as feelings of players and doubts of spectators are described too. Boccia is defined as a game of many specifications which might be considered as interfering with fair play. The empirical part presents a qualitative research. It's based on processed semi- structured interviews with committed top level boccia players. The research included interviews with 10 players, 2 women and 8 men. Other used methods were: informal interviews, participating observation and study of literature and other available resources. The research was focused on two issues: Is boccia well organized as a sport? and Does the equipment have...
Computational Intelligence for Malware Classification
Tomášek, Jan ; Pilát, Martin (advisor) ; Surynek, Pavel (referee)
As the number of computers and other smart devices grows in every aspect of human life, the amount of malicious software (malware) also grows. Such software tries to disrupt computer usage. Therefore one of the challenges for computer science is to divide the Malware into classes according to its behaviour. The thesis summarizes known ways to look at the problem at hand, some of them are extensions of known approaches, while others are completely new. They are all implemented, tested and compared. We also propose few ideas for future research. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Classification of Norway Spruce based on imaging and laboratory spectroscopy
Soudková, Kristýna ; Potůčková, Markéta (advisor) ; Kupková, Lucie (referee)
The master thesis deals with subpixel classification of hyperspectral data from senzor APEX. In the first part there is research from the literature describing algorithms of the subpixel classifications and spectral characteristics of the vegetation. In the practical part there is a work focusing on the classification of the areas with the cover of Norway Spruce trees at eight areas in the Krkonoše national park. Three methods of supervised classification were used - Linear Spectral Unmixing, Support Vector Machine and Spectral Angle Mapper. Field data, spectral curves for exact trees from the eight areas obtained by the contact probe ASD FieldSpec 4 Wide-Res, were used for the extraction of endmembers of the spruces. For each research area maps of land cover were produced by means of the classification methods described above and the accuracies of the classifications were evaluated. Posterior malleolar fractures of the tibia in fracture-dislocations of the ankle
Kostlivý, Karel ; Bartoníček, Jan (advisor) ; Pilný, Jaroslav (referee) ; Dráč, Pavel (referee)
The dissertation deals with fractures of the posterior malleolus of the tibia in ankle fractures. There is no consensus on the issue in the diagnosis and treatment of tibial posterior malleolus fractures in ankle fractures worldwide. The experimental part of the study focused on the anatomy of the ankle joint, especially on the construction of the fibular incisure of the distal tibia as one of the key areas for ankle stability. The result was the determination of the ideal distance for the correct assessment of the position of the fibula in the incisure of the tibia. In the clinical part of the study, the pattern of the fractures was evaluated on a basic group of patients with ankle fractures with concurrent tibial posterior malleolus fracture using preoperative X-ray and CT examination. This made it possible to determine the basic morphological types of posterior malleolus fractures. The resulting classification was verified on an extended group of patients. In clinical practice, it was used to choose the surgical approach and method of fixation. The correctness of the resulting classification was verified on an extended group of patients. The clinical application of the anatomical 3D CT classification achieved a good anatomical position by direct reduction and stable osteosynthesis from the chosen...
Classification of selected agricultural crops from time series of Sentinel-2 and PlanetScope imagery in Kutnohorsko model area
Kuthan, Tomáš ; Kupková, Lucie (advisor) ; Potůčková, Markéta (referee)
Classification of selected agricultural crops from time series of Sentinel-2 and PlanetScope imagery in Kutnohorsko model area Abstract The thesis is focused on the analysis of spectral characteristics of selected agricultural crops druring agriculutural season from time series of Sentinel -2 (A and B) and PlanetScope sensors in the model area situated around the settlements of Kolín and Kutná Hora. It is based on the assumption that the use of multiple dates of image data acquired crops in different phenological phases of the crops allows better identification of crop species (Lu et al., 2004). The aim of the thesis was to analyse the characteristics of the seasonal course of spectral features of selected agricultural crops (sugar beet, spring barley, winter barley, maize, spring wheat, winter wheat, winter rape) and to determine the period of the year suitable for the differentiation of individual crops. Another aim of the thesis was to classify these crops in the model area from time series of two above-mentioned sensors and to compare the accuracy of the pixel and object-oriented classification approach for multitemporal composites and the accuracy for monotemporal image from the term when the individual crops are clearly distinguishable. The training and validation datasets and the classification mask...
Functions of animals in children's representations
Mášová, Vendula ; Kučera, Miloš (advisor) ; Klusák, Miroslav (referee)
The dissertation discusses the roles of animals in children's representations. Its chief aim is to find out what things children perceive to be important about animals, which children's needs can be satisfied by animals and if children's sex and age determine the way in which they perceive animals. The thesis mainly consists of a qualitative analysis of data from a realised research, which took place at a elemantary school with children in three different classes (first, fourth and seventh year). The principal method was a dialogue based on a questionnaire which I had compiled, the additional method was the test of an enchanted family drawing.
Land-cover changes and climatic settings of the Úpské rašeliniště mire
Hejda, Tomáš ; Treml, Václav (advisor) ; Šefrna, Luděk (referee)
Mires, or wetlands, are very important habitats, ecosystems, as well as relict and recent reserves. The object of the study of mires is focused on morphological, hydrological and chemical characteristics as they are more discussed globally due to climate change. The present thesis deals with the characteristics of mires on a global scale, which are used in literature and make up their classification. The classification of mires is also addressed on the Czech scale with a focus on the Western High Sudetes. Mires of the Giant Mts. were analyzed according to climate conditions with a focus on the dynamics of land cover areas of Úpské rašeliniště mire and subsequently compared with Scandinavian mires. A particularly strong dependence on the Aapa type can be stated from the analysis. The vegetation above the alpine timberline primarily consisting of dwarf pines (Pinus mugo) and spruce families showed a substantial increase with respect to the impacts of climate fluctuations in the recorded period in Eastern High Giant Mts. Key words: mires, classification, Giant Mts., climate, vegetation change
