Brtnická, Eliška ; Pachl, Petr (advisor) ; Capko, Štefan (referee)
In this essay, I try to answer some question about acrobatics in theatre. At first I cite the definitions of terms, that I use afterwards in the thesis. Two parts concerning acrobatic expression and creation of acrobatic act are Fundamentals. Briefly I turn to the history, to the "cirque nouveau" genre and to dramatic acrobatics in practice. For better imagination I use some pictures and videos like completment.

Logical paradoxes utilization for math teaching at high schools
Kusbachová, Zuzana ; Kvasz, Ladislav (advisor) ; Zhouf, Jaroslav (referee)
The main goal of this work is to bring a new view on the teaching approach to the mathematical logic. The main issue is therefore the using of logical paradoxes in the math teaching at the high schools. This work contains (1) a brief overview of the particular paradoxes (mainly the Zeno's paradoxes and the paradoxes of naive set theory) which are subsequently used for practical teaching, (2) study of the present state at the Czech schools and (3) a practical part. This practical part is composed from the factual proposes of the teaching plans, verification and possible improvements of these plans.

The comparision of pathological findings in hemathological analyzing machine Cellavision DM96 with optical microscopy.
Recová, Lucie ; Nachtigal, Petr (advisor) ; Semecký, Vladimír (referee)
The leukocyte differential count is important and frequently demanded laboratory examination, even nowadays. Until recently, there was a posibility to execute this laboratory examination only using the microscope. It was time-consuming and it required the continuous presence of specialists - cytologists- in the laboratory. The new generation of hematological analyzers enables to execute the analysis of peripheral blood smears easier. In practice, there is being used the new digital morphological analyzer CellaVision DM96 by Sysmex corp. since the year 2004. In the experimental file, there was 62 samples of peripheral blood examined from children and adult patients. Blood counts have been established on Sysmex XE-5000 analyzer. Differential counts of leukocytes were examined on CellaVision DM96 analyzer and then using the microscope Olympus BX41TF. The results were compared and statistically evaluated. Gained results proved sameness among the most of the patients. It is also necessary to check qualitatively abnormal samples under the microscope, especially when we are talking about the first detection. It implies that classical microscope is still essential during the analysis of pathological findings.

UPLC-MS as a new trend in separation techniques-application in analysis of biologically active substances
Oťapka, Lukáš ; Nováková, Lucie (advisor) ; Solich, Petr (referee)
TITLE: UPLC-MS as a new trend in separation processes - application in analysis of biological active substances SUMMARY: Neopterin, a pterine derivate, is produced by human monocytes/macrophages stimulated by interferon gama. Neopterin represents an important parameter for the monitoring of the immune system activation that accompanies different diseases. In several scientific studies the coherency between neopterin and 7,8-dihydroneopterin and intracelular oxidative stress and apoptosis of the cells was demonstrated. The value of neopterin or other substances from pterin's group in clinical practice are expressed as the ratio of neopterin / creatinin. This diploma work was dealing with the development of an analytical method for the identification and quantitation of biological active substances neopterin, biopterin, 7,8-dihroneopterin, 5,6,7,8-tetrahydroneopterin and creatinin by utltra-performance liquid chromatography connected to the mass spectrometry triple of quadrupole type. Analytical method for the determination of biological active substances neopterin, biopterin, 7,8-dihroneopterin, 5,6,7,8-tetrahydroneopterin and creatinin by UPLC has been developed. KEYWORDS: Neopterin, 7,8-dihydroneopterin, 5,6,7,8-tetrahydroneopterinu, biopterin, creatinin, UPLC, mass spectrometry, triple quadrupole

Essays on Monetary Policy and Estimation of DSGE Models
Rychalovska, Yuliya ; Slobodyan, Sergey (advisor) ; Žák, Milan (referee) ; Hlédik, Tibor (referee)
The thesis is motivated by current practice of policy conduct implemented by many monetary institutions. In particular, a new operational framework, inflation targeting, has been introduced by the most advanced central banks. In addition, DSGE models became widely used for systematic evaluation of macroeconomic effects of monetary policy and forecasting. In the first chapter of the thesis, I assess possible risks and challenges of implementing inflation targeting strategy in more complicated, but at the same time more realistic, DSGE model economies. I focus on analysis of optimal monetary policy and welfare in a DSGE model of a small open economy with multiple domestic sectors, which have different structural characteristics. The findings suggest that openness to trade as well as sector-specific features do matter for monetary policy design thus generating important implications for optimal stabilization objectives and social welfare. The ranking of simple rules indicates that flexible CPI targeting regime is able to closely replicate the optimal solution and outperform the policy of domestic inflation stabilization. Finally, the sensitivity analysis demonstrates that the presence of sectoral asymmetries may alter the relative performance of alternative policy rules. The second part of the thesis...

Selected aspects of the advancement of the goals and requirements of the convention on the prohibition of chemical weapons
Chára, Jan ; Ondřej, Jan (advisor) ; Bílková, Veronika (referee)
SELECTED ASPECTS OF THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE GOALS AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONVENTION ON THE PROHIBITION OF CHEMICAL WEAPONS Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on Their Destruction ("Convention") is a means of comprehensive ban of chemical weapons covering the whole category of these weapons of mass destruction. There are many factors having impact on effective enforcement of the goals and requirements of the Convention, namely its implementation in States Parties (particularly legislative), international cooperation and assistance, overcoming political stumbling blocks related to implementing the Convention in practice and other, often unpredictable factors resulting from law enforcement in international context. The aim of this thesis is, apart from a brief introduction into the history of the ban on chemical weapons, related activities within the context of international law and the existing status of the ban, to point out some problematic issues in this field which have the potential of hampering the goal of the Convention (due to the limited extent hereof without striving for complete coverage of the topic). The introductory chapter provides a basic overview of the history of international cooperation related to the ban on...

New Labour Code {--} its positives and negatives
TENKLOVÁ, Ivana
The task of this thesis named {\clqq}New Labour Code {--} its positives and negatives`` is to compare the old Labour Code with the new one, to show the changes and updates and their impact to practice, to find the positives and negatives in its application. After long negotiations, the Labour Code began to be valid in January 2007 in a new form, but only by the {\clqq}technical novel`` and by the finding of the Constitutional court the main inadequacies were eliminated. The question remains if the Labour Code as an independent Code is necessary. It is usual in some countries that the labour-law tasks are treated in the Civil Code, but our legal regulations result from the Soviet concept of the legal system. Currently the framework of the new Civil Code is finished; one of the authors is Professor Karel Eliáš, who is just the protagonist of incorporation the labour law into the Civil Code. On the other hand, the labour law nowadays is so wide and specific, that its incorporation back into the civil law would have been extremely difficult.
