Effectiveness of the process of valuation of construction production

Diplomová práce se zabývá efektivitou oceňování stavební výroby. Teoretická část se věnuje oceňování stavební výroby, analýzou náročnosti oceňování, principem sestavení rozpočtů a představení BIM procesu ve stavebnictví. Praktická část se věnuje konkrétnímu způsobu zefektivnění oceňování stavební výroby. Efektivita je zkoumána ve fázi zpracování výkazu výměr, pomocí BIM modelů a porovnána s CAD modelem. Výsledkem je definování možné úspory zpracování výkazu výměr pomocí BIM modelu. Závěrečná část je věnována popisu standardizace stavebnictví.

LOD for GPUEngine

The representation of 3D polygonal model on several levels of available detail is a problem inherent in the process of rendering a scene. Highly-detailed models, if placed far from the camera, suffer from spatial aliasing that results from inadequate sampling of their surface, and require disproportionately large amount of time to render. Low-detailed models on the other hand reduce the visual quality of the scene when placed too near to the camera. This report delves in both the theory and the practical techniques used for solving these problems. It describes various published solutions and the principles behind them, and presents a design and an implementation of selected techniques for the GPUEngine library.

Analysis of the possibilities of linking building and economic software and software for technical drawing

The subject of the thesis is the analysis of the possibilities of data linking of building design software with building-economical software for budgeting from the point of view of building information modeling. The theoretical part deals with BIM issues. It contains a general definition of the method and its bases, addresses the possible benefits, the current state of implementation in the Czech Republic and abroad, the relationship with the participants in the building process and the life cycle of the building. The next part describes the currently used procedures in the building valuation phase. The last, practical part of the thesis contains a draft of linking the data between the software for creating the BIM model and the cost documentation for budgeting in order to transfer the necessary information more efficiently and simplify the valuation process.

South Bohemian sacral architecture of the late Gothic1450 - 1550 in the Rosenberg domain Mgr. Roman Lavička A group of late-Gothic churches, which keeps attracting our attention, was built in the Rosenberg domain during the reign of the Jagiellon dynasty. Limited archival material, results of dendrochronologic analyses and preserved buildings suggest that it was mainly building maintenance that was in progress in the Rosenberg domain in the second half of the 15th century. In the early 1480s the building of the new pilgrimage church in Kájov (1471/1474- 1485) was coming to its end. And it was only then that big town parish churches in Trhové Sviny, Dolní Dvořiště, Hořice na Šumavě, Chvalšiny and Nové Hrady started being rebuild or constructed anew almost simultaneously. Around 1485 almost twenty religious buildings were being built in the Rosenberg domain. They reflect the increasing economic prosperity and self-confidence of the town and village municipalities, corporations as well as individuals manifesting their wealth, success and strength. From a formal and ideological point of view it is possible to trace down a group of related buildings directly in this initial phase. Fluorine detection by means of Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy

This work concerns the Laser Induced Break-down Spectroscopy LIBS and it´s usage in detection of fluorine in specimens. This method and the particular methods of measurements suitable for fluorine detection are analysed in theoretical part. The sensitivity of particular methods such as usage of buffer gases (He), change of ambient pressure, usage of double laser pulse (DP–LIBS) or detection of molecular bands are compared in experimental part.

Museum of warfare

The subject of the Bachelor thesis is the design and assesssment of the steel (load bearing) structure of the future museum of military equipment. The building, with passageway for the visitors, is going to serve museum for garaging medium and heavy equipment. The framework is constructed by connection of abutment pillars placed in the distance of 10 m and roof girders with haunches. Construction is designed to have mono-pitched roof created by 5,36 m long pillar and 6,4 m long pillar connected with girder. In the endwise direction the frames are in the distance of 6 m. The construction is specific by its plan. By its cranking at the end of the first wing under 45° angle there is created smaller interstice. At the end of the interstice is another 45° angle cranking connected to the second wing. Thanks to the cranking between the wings the first wing extends endwise and the second extends crosswise. Another specifics are gate constructions placed on the side of the higher pillars. The gate is intended for enterance and exit of the military equipment to be placed for an exposition in the museum. The framework is designed by norms ČSN EN for the ultimate and serviceability limit state. As the main material used for load-bearing elements was steel S355.

The work is focusing on design and actual construction of gantry crane, which is constructed for manipulation with ships in ports. The work describes calculation of powers that are put on the crane or describes control of its parts. As an output of the work is considered drawing documentation.

Level of Detail for Race Track Rendering

This work describes efficient race track rendering using OpenGL. It uses height map for terrain representation. The race track is rendered as polygonal model instanced on a curve using level of detail. An algorithm is proposed for using level of detail in real time even on mobile devices. Among described algorithms are dart throwing, Catmull-Rom spline, edge collapse simplification, view frustum culling. Part of this work is an application demonstrating the designed algorithm.
