Žemličková, Věra ; Soukup, Jaromír (referee) ; Horčička, Václav (advisor)
The subject of Diploma thesis "Reunification of Germany as Aim of the FRG's Policy, 1989-90" is a description and an analysis of the key's events of unification process and attitude of Kohl's government and opposition parties in the German parliament towards german question in the 1980s and reunification of both German states after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The whole process was influenced by the policy of superpowers whose approach to the German question presented a decisive factor of the Central European development in the period in view. Regarding rights and responsibilities of the four victorious powers in Germany (USA, Soviet Union, Great Britain, France), the process had foreign policy dimension. Except this impact it is also necessary to take account of European context of unification process. The thesis also describe to development of Germany policy (Deutschlandpolitik) of the federal gevernments since 1949. The unchangeable aim of govenment cabinet was staying unification of both German states, but their methods how achieve the objective were different. The Reasons of the dramatic events in East Germany in 1989-90, had deep roots in the past. Therefore is connected a brief development of second German state in the 1970s and 1980s.

Microstructure and Properties of Nanocrystalline Hard Coatings and Thin Film Nanocomposites
Dopita, Milan ; Rafaja, David (advisor) ; Richter, Frank (referee) ; Šutta, Pavol (referee)
In this work, microstructure and properties of M-Al-(Si-)N nanocrystalline hard coatings and thin film nanocomposites deposited by cathodic arc evaporation (CAE) process at different positions of substrates in the deposition apparatus were investigated using the combination of electron probe microanalysis, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy with high resolution and hardness measurement. Six series of specimens that differed in the transition metal type (Cr, Ti and Zr) and in the amount of Si and Al were deposited using the CAE process in the deposition apparatus π-80 produced by Platit AG. The essential microstructural parameters; the chemical and phase composition, the residual stress, preferred orientation of crystallites, crystallite size and mutual disorientation of crystallites were determined in all coatings under study. The derived microstructural parameters were correlated with the hardness of coatings. Finally, the microstructural model of the nanocrystalline hard coatings and thin film nanocomposites formation was developed. Depending on the sample chemical composition, three regions with different phase compositions exist in the coatings. In the transition metal richest samples, a single fcc M1-x- yAlxSiyN phase exists in the coating. With increasing Al content,...

Investigation into the role of Pedagogical counsellor (výchovný poradce) in the Education of Children with Special Education Needs (SEN) in the Mainstream Primary Schools of Central Prague
Habib, Md. Ahsan ; Novosad, Libor (referee) ; Wildová, Radka (advisor)
The movement for inclusive education produces number of innovations. One of this is special services coordinators (SENCOs) in the mainstream schools. When the schools start accepting the children with special education needs it becomes inevitable to take someone with special training and knowledge responsibility of these children in the mainstream schools. In Czech Republic Pedagogical Counsellor (Výchovný Poradce) were given this responsibility of coordination by legislation. The present research attempts to explore the role of Výchovný Poradce in relation to the children with special education needs in legislation as well as in practice. The research also aims to investigate the challenges the Výchovný Poradce face and how they over come the challenges. A total 26 participants including teachers, Výchovný Poradce, special pedagogue (mainstream school), special pedagogue (special centres) and parents were engaged in collecting data through interviews, questionnaire and focused group discussion. As an exploratory research a sequential mixed method research design was applied where initial qualitative data collection and analysis was followed by a quantitative data collection and analysis. The findings show that the role of the Výchovný Poradce is not a one-person coordination concern on Czech schools rather...

Governing bodies in unlimited companies
Račko, Petr ; Štenglová, Ivanka (referee) ; Plíva, Stanislav (advisor)
Governing bodies of General and Limited Partnerships The subject of my thesis is to analyse process of acting on behalf of a corporation and to depict specific bodies which take part in this essential process, their competency, powers and also their responsibility. The reason for my research is based on fact that not a single corporation stands alone in this world which makes interactions with other corporations, customers and state authorities not only inevitable but more importantly necessary for a corporation to survive in business world. Just to clarify the subject of this thesis does not include process during which bodies of a corporation form will to act based on internal proposals and opinions but it concentrates solely on the acting itself. The thesis is composed of two complex chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of acting on behalf of a corporation. Chapter One is not only introductory even though it defines basic terminology used in the thesis but it also analyzes common elements of governing bodies. Chapter Two focuses on the governing bodies themselves and it divides the subject matter into five parts each with its own focus. Among these five part the basic description of each of two corporations is provided as well as concept of each governing body, its creation and...

Celakovice education and rebellions activity of teachers during Nazism occupation
Šturma, František ; Váňová, Růžena (advisor) ; Valenta, Josef (referee)
This work deals with problems of Czcech educational system in the period of nazi occupation. Based on concrete examples of national school in Celakovice, primarily basic attributes of our national education in this tragic period are approached. These attributes are divided into severa I phases aceording to the way of nazi intluence on the education area. As an initial time limit we consider already the period of so called the "second republic", which in many aspects ushers in following years of Czech and Moravia Protectorate. We can follow up there how Celakovice schools were changing until the end of the Second World War under the increasing pressure of German occupational power. In the process of time we can also see the downgrade of not only everyday school work but also of the Czech teachers position. The attention is also given over to unsuccessful attempt to establish municipal school of music, which was supposed to become a significant culture centre of Celakovice. Final part of this work is describing revolt activities of teachers who were at the same time the main representatives of the local rebellion organization. It is mainly about Jaroslav Krucky, one of nazi regim victim, and Vaclav Grafnetter, who as a leader of local revolt led popular uprising in Celakovice in May 1945.

Effect of prophylactic and functional knee brace and knee sleeve on plantar pressure distribution during stance phase of gait in healthy individuals
Pánková, Barbora ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Lopot, František (referee)
Title: Effect of prophylactic and functional knee brace and knee sleeve on plantar pressure distribution during stance phase of gait in healthy individuals Summary: Knee bracing is a very commonly used method by both doctors and patients. Brace producers and also most of the studies focus the effect of the brace directly on the knee joint, but do not study, how it influences other regions of human body. This work studied the influence of knee bracing on plantar pressure distribution changes and also changes of the progression of the centre of pressure (COP). This study rewiewed the literature for the theoretical background in biomechanics and kinesiology of gait, description of structural, functional and methodological factors influencing the dynamic interaction of the foot contacting the ground and a review of knee brace questions. The experimental part concerns a study of the gait of 6 healthy subjects using a Footscan platform and the effects of three types of knee braces on the dynamic interaction of the foot contacting the ground. Methods: We used the Footscan modular measuring system (RSscan International, Belgium) and the force platform Kistler to detect both relative and absolute values of forces and plantar pressures under particular regions of the foot using three types of knee braces....

Statistical applications of urn models
Navrátil, Radim ; Omelka, Marek (referee) ; Pawlas, Zbyněk (advisor)
This work shows various applications of urn models in practice. First, basic properties of the occupancy distribution are derived together with its asymptotic approximation. This model is applied and generalized in the theory of database systems for records search from a given database. An application to random texts is mentioned, namely the computation of the expected number of missing and common words in random texts. There are presented exact formulas, their asymptotic approximations and the approximations via occupancy distribution. Then, some urn models, which are used in the randomized response theory for finding out respondents' answers to sensitive questions, are described. These models are compared according to their accuracy and respondents' goodwill to answer. Finally, two non-parametric tests of empty boxes are derived, one for the hypothesis whether a random sample comes from a given population and the second for the hypothesis whether two independent random samples come from the same population. The powers of these tests are compared with commonly used tests for these hypotheses.

Petition and judgment (their interrelation)
Balaš, Matej ; Zoulík, František (advisor) ; Smolík, Petr (referee)
57 7 Summary Action and judgment (mutual relation) I have chosen this topic for my Master's degree thesis, because I am interested in civil law, especially in a civil litigation. In my thesis I tried to explain institutes of both law action and judgment and of course the mutual relation between them. Civil procedure is a procedure carried out by state courts as judicial bodies of power. Civil process takes place before the courts, which decide disputes and other legal matters arising from civil, labor, family and business relationships. People are requesting the protection of their endangered or broken rights by bringing an action. Person who brings an action we call the suitor and person against whom the dispute is called defendant. Both these parties are given the same procedural rights and obligations, therefore, in the proceeding they are equal. Finally, the dispute is decided by a court from a position of an independent third party. Judgment is a form of judicial decision, which terminates the proceedings and resolve the dispute. Only the court is entitled to make judgments and decide authoritatively on the rights and obligations between the suitor and defendant. Court makes an response to suitors request for protection of his rights. Court is bound by action, and may depart from it only in specific...
