Nurse and her work in mission in the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic.
HORÁKOVÁ, Magdaléna
The occupation of nurse as we know it today started to take shape thanks to Florence Nightingale, who pioneered military nursing practice. The first military nurses, including Florence, served during the Crimean war. The modern military nurse has the same duties as her historical counterparts {--} to identify and satisfy the needs of soldiers. She participates on the prevention process, cares for soldier's health, helps to create optimal conditions for their healthy lifestyle and training and provides first-aid training to soldiers. Nurses also take part on medical provisioning, assessments of military service capability and epidemic prevention. This research work has been elaborated using qualitative research methods. Its goal is to map the competencies of nurses in the Czech Army. Data was collected by means of semi-structured dialogues with nurses that participated on a military mission abroad. The results of the research with military nurses are elaborated by means of case reports and a slightly modified Ritchie and Spencer framework analysis, which was used to compile the category tables and charts that summarize the main research results. Three research questions were established to achieve the goal. The main goals are to find out whether nurses on foreign missions have competencies according to Czech legislation, whether they provide care on foreign missions by means of a nursing process, and what the conditions are for acceptance to a foreign mission. The results are designated for medical professionals as well as the general public and may also serve for study purposes.

Knowledgeability of clients about postoperative care at orthopaedic department
LIŠKOVÁ, Jana
Clients suffering from musculoskeletal system problems are hospitalised at the orthopaedic department. Most clients must undergo a surgery here. Surgery is a stressful situation for many clients. They are in foreign environment and do not know what to expect, they are afraid. A nurse at an orthopaedic department has a very important function. She accompanies the client before, during and after the surgery. She aims to provide her clients with enough information to calm them and to make their stay in a medical facility pleasant. Quantitative research performed by means od anonymous questionnaires was used to collect data. We addressed nurses from traumatological wards in the following hospitals: Nemocnice Písek, a.s. and Ústřední vojenská nemocnice Prague. We also contacted clients hospitalized in orthopedic and traumatological ward in the two identified hospitals. We collected identification data and information about the general awareness of postoperative care and postoperative complications. Three objectives were determined in the bachelor essay. Determination of the level of clients´ awareness, the means used by nurses to provide information about postoperative care and about postoperative complications. And whether nurses provide information through the nursing process. Results of the research were fulfilled. Three hypothese were determined. The first and the second hypothese were to confirm that clients are sufficiently informed about the postoperative care and postoperative copmlications and that nurses provide clients with the nursing care through the nursing process. These hypotheses were confirmed. Nurses inform clients about the postoperative care and they provide nursing care through the nursing process. The third hypothesis was supposed to confirm that nurses utilize all means to inform clients about the postoperative care. This hypothesis was not confirmed; nurses inform clients only orally. The research showed that clients address thein inquiries to both nurses and doctors. Clients´ awareness of postoperative care was sufficient and there is no need to increase it, however, the awareness of postoperative complications is weaker and clients would like to obtain more information from doctors. In spite of that, most of them say that postoperative complications cannot be prevented by better awareness anyway. Postoperative care is a part of the recovery period after a surgery {--} knee ligament athroplasty. Sufficient awareness of clients and timely rehabilitation is an integral part of that. Therefore, it is necessary to provide clients with sufficient amount of information. The results of the bachelor assay will be submitted to nurses in orthopedic wards in the two identified hospitals, i.e. Nemocnice Písek, a.s. and Ústřední Vojenská Nemocnice Prague, where the research was performed; the results could also be used as a source of information in workshops not only for nurses working in orthopedic wards, but for everyne who is interested in this topic. The results could also enhance the postoperative care within the nursing prosess.

Wrongful birth, wrongful life
Špuláková, Eva ; Šustek, Petr (advisor) ; Hendrychová, Michaela (referee)
On the one hand means the development of medical science many new therapies and a greater chance of recovery for patients, on the other hand presents greater demands on the established lege artis procedure. In addition to professional medical procedure must follow the obligations arising from the doctor - patient relationship. The question is whether the doctor should be responsible for any negative consequences of his negligent conduct. Topic wrongful birth, wrongful life deals with fundamental human rights, legal protection of individual rights and responsibilities for the damage. The absence of explicit legislation on substantive issues means that the solution of the case can not be proceeded only by law. That is why I dealt for the most part of the work with foreign case law. The work consists of five parts. The first chapter is a general introduction to the topic. The second chapter includes selected foreign court decisions and presents individual problems which the courts deal with. At the end of the chapter referred to a ruling from the Czech Republic. In the following section are selected counter-arguments that were used foreign case law. In the fourth chapter, I tried to integrate the topic into the framework of national legislation. In the fifth chapter is summary. Foreign case law is not uniform....

The thesis investigates and studies the process of transformation of Kazakhstan economy since 1991, when the republic achieved its independence. Through the whole paper I'll trace the development of the separate sectors of the economy. The Soviet period has accompanied and primarily influenced the formation of the Kazakhstan's State system and the economic features. In this respect, in the first chapters, I would introduce a brief description of development of the country before 1991. Specification of the privatization process I will present in the third chapter. However, the transformation process would be analyzed at the same time in further chapters, concerning development of the main macroeconomic indicators, such as growth of GDP, inflation rate, unemployment, and the level of living. In the last chapters I would depicture the foreign politic and economic relations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as within the Commonwealth of the Independent States, so in terms of the foreign business relations. The problem of illegal employment of foreigners in the Czech Republic
Brázová, Věra - Karin ; Jelínková, Marie (advisor) ; Frič, Pavol (referee)
The diploma thesis called "The problem o f illegal employment o f foreigners in the Czech Republic" understands the illegal employment of foreigners as a pressing and socially undesirable phenomenon which has many negative effects for the state as well as for the migrants and - in a broader sense - for the society as such. At the same time, the problem is seen as a very complex one. It is, therefore, the aim of the thesis to analyze this problem, structure it and, in this way, make it possible to handle the problem with the help of publicpolicy measures. For this purpose, the thesis follows four subsequent steps towards delimiting a problem - starting from structuration, through problem definition and modelling, to final problem formulation. The biggest attention is given to the first step of structuration, as it is understood to be the basic and - at the same time - the most important of the four steps. Integral part of the problem structuration is the actor analysis on three levels - the first one analyzes the ideo-political level and focuses on the problem perception by the parliamentary political parties; the second then concentrates on the actors at supra-national level and on their influence upon the national level; the third one analyzes the actors at national level, their interest in solution of the...

Systémy měnových kurzů
Kaňok, Dalibor ; Taušer, Josef (advisor) ; Štěňhová, Božena (referee)
Různé země používají různé mechanismy stanovení a řízení devizového kurzu při realizaci plateb do resp. inkas ze zahraničí. Odlišnosti uspořádání kurzových vztahů v rámci jednotlivých kurzových režimů jsou dány především úlohou centrální bankovní instituce, vlády a trhu při formování devizového kurzu a mírou pružnosti či stability kurzu. Odlišné režimy působí jinak na vývoj platební bilance, devizových rezerv i vztah vnitřních a zahraničních cen. Každý kurzový systém pak vytváří specifické předpoklady pro provádění monetární a fiskální politiky, které mají následně dopady na rozhodování firem i jednotlivců.

At the end of 1960s the European integration had been encountering a deep crisis.
