Dolejskova 5 18200 PrahaS Abstract of rigorousthesis Task of this work has been to monitor the behaviour and to estimate the concentration of pollutants in atmosphere. To-this purpose was selected as a model town Jablonne nad Orlici and as a technical solution to the problem was physical modeling in the wind-tunnel (in scale 1:1000). First of all, I define important terms (mainly turbulence, atmospheric boundary layer), equations: that describe atmospheric motions, and give account of wind-tunnel and methods of measurement. I estimated the concentrations above the ground qualitatively (vissually - using laser knife) and quantitatively (using the infrared analyzer IREX and the flame ionization detector FID). . High imission load in a densely settled part of the town Jablonne nad Orlici was demonstrated. The topic of my thesis Diseases caused by ionizing radiation have I chosen on the basis of his interest in this issue. The observation that exposure to ionizing radiation is associated with health risks , coinciding immediately after the discovery of X-rays and radioactivity in 1895 and the 1896th already in the following year was reported by erythema and eczematous changes in the skin. very Mr. discoverer of radioactivity Becquerel in 1901 convinced about the negative effects of their own discovery when he wore 14 days in his vest pocket radio preparation which gave him couple Curie . He appeared with him at length and eczema -healing ulcer , which also confirmed and self- forearm tried P.Curie . Already in 1902 , six years after the discovery of X-rays showed Frieben in Hamburg first tumor induced by radiation. Between 1927 and 1928 the geneticist HJ Muller reported the induction of mutations in X-rays and genetic consequences resulting from radiation exposure . Single and repeated radiation exposure of an appropriately high doses cause radiation syndrome with typical somatic symptoms and consequent death which probability increases with increasing dose . The Risk Factors of Lung Cancer. Lug Cancer in Women

Theme of her thesis dealing with lung cancer women I have chosen not only because it belongs to the Czech Republic countries with high incidence and mortality for lung cancer, but also personal interest in this issue. Lung cancer is by far the most common malignant us cancer in men. For women, the incidence of this tumor is about four times lower than in men, but worrying is the fact that the curve for women incidence has increased steadily. Although a direct link has been demonstrated a number of risk factors, especially smoking, another question arises about the influence of other substances, especially in women, where the representation ofdifferent histological different types of lung tumors. Therefore, there are hypotheses whether women have no share in the development of lung cancer, especially adenocarcinoma, hormonal influences. That was the impetus for writing this work, which I tried to find association between the occurrence ofadenocarcinoma in women and hormonal contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy and length of time between menarche and menopause.

This thesis doesn't include just existing and previously released facts, but it introduces some new theories as well, according to old ones. The goal of following thesis is to present facts of sport marketing generally and to demonstrate its application in practice. The main part will be implemented of the sector -- riscs and some ideas about the development in the future.

The analysis of customs procedures in the EU with the focus on transit

The thesis responds to the changes in customs procedures which Czech companies had to face after the Czech republic was joined to the customs territory of the EU. The first part of the thesis provides the basic characteristic of individual customs procedures and it is focused on the area of customs operations. The following sections concentrate on the issue of "transit" customs procedure. The scope of the thesis is a general approach of the realisation of international transport in transit. It demonstrates the most important changes which were caused by the membership of the Czech Republic in the EU. The thesis emhasizes Community transit, Common transit betweeen the Community and the EFTA countries and the carriage of goods based on the customs documents TIR a ATA. Due to its importance for facilitating international trade a special attention is given to the TIR customs transit system.

The Budget of Europen Union and relation to Structural Funds

European integration means for the member states many duties but on the other hand also many advantages. Among the most significant belongs the possibility to use financial means from EU Budget. The most significant budget items are the structural funds. Structural funds are the financial instrument of regional and structural policy EU with them EU tries to help member states regions to develop. The aim of my works is present the system of functioning EU Budget and also evaluate the system of the financial flows from the budget by the medium of structural funds. I am going to demonstrate this problem on the Czech Republic.

Models of time structures of interest rates and their use in valuation of liabilities of life insurance Company

This master thesis aims to describe problematics of the stochastic modeling of time structures of interest rates with Vasicek, CIR and Hull-White models and the use of these models in valuation of liabilities and time value of options and guaranties in life insurance. In the theoretical part of the thesis there are fundamentals of stochastic calculus, stochastic models of interest rates and introduction to problematics of life insurance defined. Furthermore, the last practical part of the thesis demonstrates impact of particular models on the value of liabilities in relation to clients and on the value of TVOG of real European life insurance Company.
