Detection of the pulse wave velocity in an elastic tube
Chlup, Hynek ; Macková, H. ; Vilímek, M. ; Žitný, R. ; Konvičková, S.
The velocity of the pulse wave in blood vessels is one of the important hemodynamical parameters to detect health condition or a degree of damage of a diseased artery. To understand the problem, the physiological values must be known. In our laboratory, the velocity of pulsewave in elastic tubes and arteries is measured in vitro by non-invasive method. The method is based on optical measurements of displacement of the pulsating pipe wall. A crash test camera with high frame rate of 1000 Hz (fps) was used.

Flow-shop Problems
Dyntar, Tomáš ; Tegze, Miron (advisor) ; Červinka, Michal (referee)
A description of flow shop and lot streaming including an example is given. Methods and algorithms ofr solving various modifications of the single job two-machine flow shop transfer lot sizing problem are shown. It starts with the calsulation of two lots (discrete), three lots (continuous) problem and then Trietsch s polynomial algorithm or an arbitrary number of sublots is introduced. This alogithm is then used for solving modifications with finding the proper number of sublots for given makespan, with constant or linear transfer times including variants with limited number of transfer machines or their limited capacity, with constant or linear set up times. A domed with both transfer and setup times is then developed and Trietschs algorithm modified. A theoreme by R. G. Vickson for solving multiple job lot streaming problem by treating the lot streaming problem for each job separately and then using Johnsons alogorithm is proposed to extend the results of the single job cases to those of multiple jobs. A known way to extend results to the three machine problem by treating each pair of successive machines separately or developing Trietschs algorithm for three machines is shown. Most of the procedures are illustrated in examples.

The use of guerilla marketing in international companies
Nejedlý, Michal ; Karlíček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Hatoň, Luděk (referee)
The objective of this thesis is to analyze and find the exact definition of the Guerilla Marketing with use of the specialized literature and practical examples. Another goal is to make the specific process of using and implementing guerilla marketing campaigns. This topis was choosen considering the fact, that classical forms of advertising are stepping back and lot of companies are nowadays using the modern marketing trends. One of them is guerilla marketing.

Formation of human dental anomalies in odontogenesis of mouse models with gene defects.
Lochovská, Kateřina ; Hovořáková, Mária (advisor) ; Peterka, Miroslav (referee)
Laboratory mouse is a appropriate experimental model for studies on normal tooth development mechanisms and for understanding of etio-pathogenesis of dental anomalies in humans. Mouse dentition consists of one incisor separated from three molars by toothless diastema in each jaw quadrant. Although an adult mice diastema does not contain teeth, rudimentary tooth primordia (MS, R2) appear here during embryonic development. However, their development stops and consequently functional tooth does not arise here. It is known that in mice with mutations in Spry2 and Spry4 genes, supernumerary teeth arise in antemolar region. The understanding of the temporo-spatial dynamics of signaling centers in Spry2/Spry4 double transgenic mice may help to elucidate the role of these embryonic diastemal buds in supernumerary tooth formation. The research of possible regeneration of dental anomalies in off-spring of crossing Spry4 deficient mice with supernumerary teeth formation with Eda deficient mice with predisposition to reduced dentition could be the way to elucidating of mechanism of dental pathologies development in general. Our aim was to describe temporal and spatial dynamics of Shh signaling domains in Spry2/Spry4 embryos, because Shh is one of the markers of early odontogenesis and determining of...

Práce podává souhrnný přehled o jednotlivých stakeholders v oblasti lékové politiky, vývoji lékové politiky v ČR, spotřebě léčiv a celkově analyzuje situaci v ČR.

Enzymatic Studies of Organohalogen Formation By Model Compounds
Blažková, Ivona ; Tesařová, E. ; Forczek, Sándor
Research in recent years has demonstrated that halogenated organic compounds are formed in\nnature due to biotic and abiotic processes. One of the most known sources of these substances are\nfrom the reaction catalyzed by haloperoxidases which include chloroperoxidase enzyme (CPO)\nisolated from Caldariomyces fumago. CPO enzyme was incubated with chloride or bromide, in the\npresence of hydrogen peroxide and organic substrates. Experiments were conducted with three\nsubstrates (acetone, acetic acid, and glucose), and different concentrations of halides.\nMeasurement of the samples by gas chromatography with an ECD detector showed the influence\nof the substrate type and halide concentration on the formation of the organohalogen products.

The development and demographic consequences of suburbanization in the base of Prague
Postlerová, Marika ; Pechholdová, Markéta (advisor) ; Nývlt, Ondřej (referee)
This bachelor work shows the characteristic progress of suburbanization in the base capital city of the Czech Republic, after the Velvet Revolution. The Second World War interrupted the very successful dynamic era of Czechoslovakia and the following socialistic era had been holding the natural pressure on suburbanization, till the fall of the communist regime at 1989. After the transformation of 1989, it appeared that all those years of struggling; still the Czechs desire to live in a family house in the countryside also known as the suburb. Finally, it was possible to have a restful life in the countryside with job opportunities a short distance nearby capital city. The analyst is using the suburbanization calculations in Central Bohemia Region, depending upon the capital city, using exponential function for the period 2001-2011, which shows the general estimation of suburbanization process in the certain area and also refers to the possible reasons for the differences which are diverged from the general trends. The analyst results may also help to explain future impacts for certain areas. At the end of this work, the main goals have been set up for the regional politics, which is trying to help every region to stay independent and also increase their cooperation and solidarity.

Radical Islamism in Western Europe as possible reason for redefinition of liberal-democratic model
Pešek, Petr ; Mlejnek, Josef (advisor) ; Charvát, Jan (referee)
Diploma thesis "Radical Islamism in Western Europe as possible reason for redefinition of liberal-democratic model" deals with impacts of demonstrations of political Islam - especially in its extreme forms - on current form of liberal democracy. It deals with roots of the problem, especially with postwar influx of mainly Muslim immigrants to Western Europe and difficulties with their integration. It describes approaches of selected authors to the issue of radical Islamism and its impact on democratic values and rules in theoretical section. Main section of this thesis deals with analysis of specific controversial issues: disputes over wearing of Islamic headscarves, debates about building of mosques and attempted implementations of Islamic law sharia into legal systems of Western countries. Beside these selected issues are there briefly described other controversial issues too - e.g. reactions on publication of book Satanic Verses and cartoons depicting Prophet Muhammad, arguing about problematic topics taught in schools with Muslim pupils and involving Muslims in politics. I'm trying to outline future course of collisions between radical Islamism and principles of Western liberal democracy in the final section of my thesis, citing forecasts by some known experts.

Czechoslovak national democratic party and František Hlaváček as a general secretary
Ulm, Karel ; Kuklík, Jan (referee) ; Čechurová, Jana (advisor)
Czechoslovak national democratic party was known for its strict suggestion to the German minority in Czechoslovakia and was keeping them. Famous became the sentence ofthe party chairman Karel Kramář: "Germans into the government, us into a revolution!" 1t was just the National democratic party that had entered in the government with Germans in 1927 ... The National democrats considered such nationalistst who felt a positiv relationship to their nation as to a community of people having a united history, language, culture and traditions. The nationalism of the National democrats was a relationship to a group of people, the patriotism was expressed by a positive relationship to the countryside. Nationalism of František Hlaváček, Karel Kramář, Viktor Dyk, František Sís, Vlastimil Klíma and others was a reaction to the German nationalism. A rightful endeavour before the German revanshism grew by some National democrats in a fobia of aH German. Still the National democratic nationalism ofFrantišek Hlaváček did not cross a border of shovinism in a sense to press and ocuppy others nations. According to the National democrats the nation should have been c10se and capable of defending against the enemies. It does not mean that there could not be partial interests of individuals and groups but those have to retreat...
