View of value orientation of modern early adolescents

This thesis examines the values and value orientations of contemporary adolescents aged 18 and 19 years. Its character is theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part focuses on a brief description of adolescence in terms of developmental psychology. It also involves the specific issue of current adolescent theory and discusses the concepts of values, value orientation, typology and hierarchy of life values. The empirical part describes the implementation of the survey, processing the collected data and presents the results obtained. The aim is to compare, describe and evaluate the value systems of final grade students of fine different secondary school and also give a brief look at their life values and attitudes.

The conception of geography fieldwork on example of České Budějovice and its surroundings

This thesis deals with the problem of geography fieldwork at Czech schools. Its main aim is to suggest a concept of fieldwork for secondary schools in České Budějovice, which could also be used for other schools. The thesis consists of three parts. In the first one, which is focused on theory, basic terms are defined according to the analysis of literature. Aims of education as well as benefits, problems and aims related to geography fieldwork and its concept in current education documents are also discussed there. In the second part, principles of the creation of tasks for fieldwork in České Budějovice with its surroundings and appropriate methods of their evaluation are specified. On the basis of geographical characteristics of the region, appropriate aims of education and localities are chosen for the geographical topics taught at schools. This qualitative study strives to capture the strategie s and motivations for emmigration of Czechoslovak citizens to former West Berlin between the years 1948 and 1989, describing it from emmigrants' perspective. The main focus of the study is an analysis of emmigration incentives and strategie s utilized by the then Czechoslovak citizens, currently living in Berlin. The theoretical base for the study consists of the theory of collective historical memory, the problem of secondary and tertiary socialization, the (mal)adaptation to new host environments and the biographical approach to emigration studies. The incentives and strategie s of political emmigration are analyzed within the context of the political and social development between the years 1946 and 1989. The study is chronologically organized according to the following historical periods and political events: (1) the takeover ofpower by communists in 1946-1948, (2) the political persecutions ofthe 1950s, (3) the liberalization ofthe communist regime during the 1960s, (4) the events ofPrague Spring in 1968, (5) the military intervention ofthe Warsaw Treaty countries on 21. Human Health from the Perspective of Integral Anthropology

The presented thesis, Human Health from the Perspective of Integral Anthropology, comprises six chapters. The introductory chapter is focused on theoretical questions of health and illness. Special focus is given to subject matter in the context of biological as well as social anthropology. These two disciplines are established in Europe as Integral Anthropology. Chapter further contains selected definitions of health. Next chapter is focused on health in relation to quality of life and meaningfulness of life. This chapter refers to the measurement of quality of life, cues and life targets, intrinsic faith and V. E. Frankl's logo therapy. The topic of the third chapter is illness of human life. This chapter discusses the concept of illness, disease and sickness, as well as bio-psychosocial and spiritual model of illness and civilization diseases. Chapter four makes up fundamental part of the work. This chapter's main focus is on primary, secondary and tertiary plane of health prevention. Effect of cognitive styles on individual's decision-making

The aim of the thesis was to study how cognitive styles influence decision-making. From structural point of view, the thesis is divided into two parts. In the introductory theoretical part we point at decision-making, its definition and theory, and then we deal with structure and factors which influence decision-making, as well as rules for decision-making and decision errors. In theoretical part we concentrate on cognitive styles. We define cognitive styles and present their possible classifications to a reader, at the same time we focus on few of them in detail. Thereafter we concentrate on relation between cognitive styles and decision-making. In conclusion of theoretical part we focus on adolescence, we describe specific of cognitive and emotional development, as well as adolescents' decision-making. The aim of empirical part was to find out whether decision errors occur in decision-making between older adolescents and to what extent, and how intervening variable influences them - cognitive style reflexivity-impulsivity, gender, and attended secondary school. Research consisted of 184 secondary school graduates from three secondary schools in Senica. Test TE- NA-TO was used for exploration of cognitive styles. Financial impacts of the economic crisis on Czech festivals of classical music

The main objective of this thesis is to map and interpret the financial impacts of the economic crisis on a selected group of classical music cultural events by describing the influence of the possible decline in financial resources on their output and efficiency. The first part of the thesis presents the theoretical basis of culture financing and cultural policy in the Czech Republic and sums up the fundamental economic theories of the behaviour of economy during economic crisis, thus providing a starting point for further interpretation of the performance of these organizations. The second part of this thesis comprises qualitative research of possible variables on a representative sample of classical music festivals. The research is carried out through a content analysis of their annual reports and a secondary analysis of other data provided by relevant institutions. The final section of the thesis attempts to evaluate the impact of the economic crisis on the cultural sector, to confirm or disprove the initial premises and to evaluate generally the financial stability of the Czech classical music festivals.

The breeding clubs at secondary school in Pilsen Region

One of the issues at present-day schools is too much theory and not enough practice. However, a personal experience with the real nature has its valuable position on all education levels. Direct contact with "hobby" organisms may be provided by breeding courses or a leisure time educational institution. In the preamble of this thesis, I focus on a possible use of a breeding course at high schools and its general working conditions. The purpose of the thesis is to look into possible expansion of breeding courses at high schools of Plzen region, to define basic patterns of their activities and evaluation by students. Another purpose is to list most common species in breeding courses.

Social skills development of secondary school students in the Economics

This final thesis deals with the issue of social skills development of secondary school students in the Economics. The theoretical foundations of this work is to define the term of social skills and is explained his importance to the society. A substantial part of the theory is also devoted to the social skills in connection with the Framework educational program. Within the empirical part, an analysis of the FEP for BA is performed, through which the state of the method concentrated on the social skills of students is determined. Furthermore, through a questionnaire survey, the current state of acquired social skills of selected students from the first years on BA is investigated and their view on this issue. This work is also focusing on whether teachers in the Economics produce sufficient appropriate environment that would allow students to develop their social skills. The final goal is to suggest specific games and activities that allow students to improve these skills in the Economics.

Developing career paths with emphasis on technical professionals of the selected company

The main objective of the thesis is to explain and advocate the topic of career paths and construct career paths for technical professionals of the selected company. The thesis then has several secondary objectives.This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part provides a theoretical framework for career paths in terms of getting into the topic of career paths and explaining the purpose, and furthermore, provides a guide for career path framework construction. The second, practical part focuses on the selected technological company that wishes to remain anonymous. Based on the theory and partially extracted from the interviews with the company experts, the career paths framework for technical professionals is constructed. To ensure that the framework is valuable for the company, feedback for the proposed framework is gathered and implemented in the thesis.

Optimization of marketing communication of SKF CZ, a.s.

The content of this thesis is based on the marketing communication in B2B in engineering company SKF CZ, a.s. on the Czech market. First the theory regarding B2B marketing, evaluation of marketing communication, situation analysis and marketing research is introduced. It is followed by situation analysis of the company SKF CZ, a.s. using the 5C method, the description of marketing communication and evaluation of its effectivity based on primary and secondary data. The conclusion consists of appropriate allocation of investments in marketing budget on marketing communication tools and setting appropriate measures for creating the marketing dashboard, which will continuously monitor and evaluate the efficiency of SKF CZ marketing communication.
