Allah and God of Christians: Do we have the same God with Muslims?
Zedníček, Jiří ; Balabán, Milan (advisor) ; Hošek, Pavel (referee)
My thesis "Allah and God of Christians" deals with the relation between Christianity and Islam. As the essay subtitle "Do we have the same God with Muslims?" suggests, I am asking to what extent Allah and God of Christians are similar, close or different. Both traditions profess the faith in one and unique, compassionate and merciful God who is the Creater and Lord of this world. However, the God himself cannot be a subject of our investigation. Investigation or comparison can only be submitted to the testimony and witness of the God. These are preserved for us and get to us by the tradition being passed down. Investigation of this tradition, especially Islamic, is, therefore, a method of my work. In the introductory part I deal with the pre-Islamic Arabia. Further on I focus on the life and work of the prophet Muhammad as the founder or revelator of Islam. In the second part I deal with the Koran and the tradition of its interpretation. The conclusion concerns the theological testimonies about the common topics which seem to diverge or converge the both religions. My intention was to seek the relations or links where the both traditions coincide and where it is possible to find common topics, values and ideas. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Nechanická, Barbora ; Dubský, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Sršeň, Radim (referee)
The Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) noted a relatively fast progress during its eleven-year existence. Its main task is to deploy operations abroad. This bachelor thesis analyses their development emphasising the civilian operations. After the introductory general characteristic of CSDP the thesis deals with the tasks of the operations, military and civilian capabilities development and with the institutional framework including the changes brought about by the Lisbon Treaty. The practical aspects are examined by the case study of the police operations Proxima and EUPAT in Macedonia. Despite several shortcomings they can be evaluated as successful. The thesis argues that civilian operations are for the CSDP at least of the same importance as the military ones. Not only are they more numerous but also their ambitions are growing. The EU has become an important security actor, also owing to the civilian operations.

Austria’s FDI
Jurek, Martin ; Sedláček, Jiří (advisor) ; Wranová, Michaela (referee)
This diploma thesis focuses on Austrian foreign direct investments and more specifically on the internalization of Austrian companies into the Czech Republic. The aim is to thoroughly display the Austria's outward foreign direct investments, introduce the internationalization models and apply them in an analysis of Austrian companies present in the Czech Republic. The first step towards answering research questions is the presentation of a short theoretical background on foreign direct investment. Further, the main characteristics of Austrian investments are stated. Chapter two starts with term definitions. Thereby, a common under-standing of the most relevant terms is established. The thorough literature review illuminates the theories behind each model and its development. In the following step, the practical part of the paper is introduced. At first, assumptions from the internationalization models are derived. Afterwards, these assumptions serve as a foundation for the questionnaire's framework. The primary part of this chapter displays results of the empirical study. Finally, a conclusion is presented summing up the thesis's core findings. These findings are primarily direct answers to the research questions seeking to fulfill the main objective of the diploma thesis.

Formulation of the requisition for services related to Internet communication
Langr, Lukáš ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Kafka, Daniel (referee)
In this work, I would like to focus on the issue related to the formulation of requirements for the delivery of services related to Internet communications, specifically to its most common form - websites. The goal of my work is to introduce the aspects of the implementation of the web pages (from basic business presentations to complex web applications such as e-shop or community site) to creators of the requisition, who are prepared to enter the world of the Internet. Provide them with an overview across the typical features of web applications to be able to formulate their own requirements for a successful website. The knowledge will serve them in the choice of supplier of the solution and also in the first stage of the subsequent implementation. The opening part of my work will be dedicated to description of the basic services related to Internet communications, such as internet service providing or applications hosting on dedicated servers. In the next chapter is already focusing on the specification of the requisition for the delivery of services related to the development and maintenance of websites. This includes the definition of those services, clarification of the types of websites and applications. While we are formulating any kind of requisition, it is important to follow certain procedures and forms. For this reason, I dedicated one of the chapters to specifications of the structure of a typical requisition document related to web applications. In the finals chapters, I will focus on the requisition for websites from different perspectives, such as the graphic appearance, functionality, accessibility and usability, security and ultimately the running web applications and internet marketing.
