Creativity in the Students at the University of Economics

The crucial area of this Bachelor's thesis is the human characteristic known as creativity. The theoretical section first addresses the definition of the concept of creativity and defines the crite-ria that serve to assess creativity levels. It then addresses factors influencing creativity, which from a biopsychosocial perspective can be divided into biological, psychological and social fac-tors. The thesis primarily deals with the latter two groups of factors. The section on psychological factors dissects the basic features contributing to a creative personality; the section on social factors deals with the influence of family, school, social reward and time of life. The subchapter on obstacles to creativity (blocks) includes myths about creativity, which can be considered one of the greatest blocks to creativity, as well as the causes of such barriers. The end of the theoreti-cal section deals with the facilitation of creativity. The goal of the practical section is to assess the level of creativity in students at the University of Economics. On the basis of the data ac-quired through the questionnaire, which takes into account the findings acquired from the litera-ture studied for the theoretical section, the thesis then makes a comparison of the creativity of students, individual departments and ultimately an assessment of the students of the University of Economics as a whole. The conclusion suggests recommendations for students.

Ways of sustainability measurement at the regional level

This thesis deals with ways of sustainability measurement at the regional level. In the theoretical part apart from definition and evolution of the concept related fields and different approaches to sustainable development are presented. Further, data sources and suitable characteristics of ideal indicators are discussed. In the application part methods applicable to measuring sustainable development along with restraints and possible problematic areas are introduced. Subsequently, these methods are applied to individual regional levels according to CZ-NUTS classification (NUTS 1 to NUTS 3 levels and LAU 1 and LAU 2 levels). At the end of the thesis, the most suitable techniques of results' presentation are introduced. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate and assess the ways of practical use of mainly quantitative methods (statistical methods and modelling techniques) for analysis and measurement of regional development sustainability and to suggest the most convenient methods for individual regional levels. The thesis answers three research questions: if one method is useful for all "regional" levels; if it is better to assess sustainability from the point of view of pillar or capital approach; and finally, if it is for measuring of sustainability more proper one summarizing (composite) indicator or indicators' set including more indicators.

Interactive environmental centre Dolni Lomna

The interactive environmental centre is the modern museum that would like to familiarize its visitors with ecology and environment subjects in the entertaining and educational form and promote natural and cultural beauties of the region. Its founding organization -- infinity-progress o.s. received the EU grant. The aim of the thesis is to present project, to analyse its surrounding and to suggest appropriate marketing communication. A secondary aim is to create a logo and design of promotional poster. Thesis is divided into four chapters. The first one includes the basic definitions of the project areas. It is the tourism sector, non-governmental organizations and EU regional policy. The second chapter focus on marketing and its specifics in the tourism and services sphere. The practical part consists of project's initial situation description, external and internal marketing analysis and the marketing mix is introduced at the end. Marketing communication as one of the important marketing mix tools is a subject of fourth chapter. Design of the communication is presented in several steps as well as new logo and promotional material.

The Portrayal of German Culture in German-Language Textbooks

Diese Magisterarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Kulturbegriff und seiner Vermittlung im Fremdsprachenunterricht. Der erste, eher theoretische Teil dieser Arbeit, erläutert die Entwicklung und wissenschaftliche Auffassungen dieses Begriffs näher und macht dann seine Rolle und Funktion im Fremdsprachenunterricht transparent. Zugleich wird auch auf die Problematik der interkulturellen Kompetenz eingegangen, die oft gerade im Zusammenhang mit der Kulturvermittlung im Fremdsprachenunterricht auftaucht. Im zweiten, eher praktischen Teil, wird eine Analyse ausgewählter Lehrwerke für den Unterricht Deutsch als Fremdsprache durchgeführt, die sich auf ein Kulturmerkmal der deutschen Kultur- Verhaltensmuster im Alltag- und seine Vermittlung konzentriert. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Möglichkeiten der meisten der analysierten Lehrwerke, die Entwicklung der interkulturellen Kompetenz bei tschechischen Schülern zu unterstützen, begrenzt sind. Die Persönlichkeit des Lehrers spielt eine wichtige Rolle, weil er den interkulturellen Ansatz im Unterricht Deutsch als Fremdsprache mit Hilfe von ergänzenden Materialien erreichen kann. Liability for defects in a Sold Thing as one of the Protection Instruments of the Weaker Party

The thesis deals with the topic of the liability for defects in a sold thing with an emphasis on the relevant provisions of private law, particularly the Civil Code, and with regard to legislation concerning consumer protection. The thesis does also not forget to highlight the changes that have occurred recently with respect to the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union, and even the planned impacts on liability for defects in a sold thing in the upcoming re-codification of private law are examined. The thesis is divided into four chapters. Introductory chapters focus on defining of the concept of civil liability and its classification. The key aspect of this thesis becomes the third chapter, which deals with the institute of liability for defects in a sold thing, taking into account current legislation. Part of this thesis is the comparison of current Czech legislation with relevant German provisions. A summary of problematic aspects of the liability for defects and suggestions of their possible solution are presented at the end of the thesis.

The tax audit from the perspective of the fundamental tax administration principles

The tax audit can be defined as one of the practices of the tax authorities modified by Act No. 280/2009 Coll., the Tax Code. The aim of the tax audit corresponds with the basic aim of the tax administration, which is primarily to establish correctly a tax assessment. This dissertation is focused on the tax audit from the perspective of the fundamental tax administration principles. The presented dissertation is divided into nine chapters, most of which are further subdivided. The first chapter is focused on the determination of the tax audit. In the second chapter, the attention is paid to the constitutional principles controlling the tax audit, mainly to selected regulations of the Constitution and the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms. The following third chapter is focused on the isuue of good governance principles. The fourth chapter deals with the fundamental principles of tax administration, as expressed in the Tax Code in §5 - §9. These principles are specified as a basis for the next part of the work. The Family as an Externality within a Market Economy: Evidence from the Czech Republic Abstract The dissertation thesis deals with an issue of fertility decline in developed countries from a perspective of relationship between the family and the market economy. The family is perceived as an externality with respect to theoretical economic framework as well as to real economy of the Czech Republic in the period of economic transition. In other words, neither theory nor applied policy fully reflects contribution of the family for the whole society. The thesis goes into the family specification from distinct standpoints, its development within time, relationship to economy and briefly introduces economic approaches to the family at both micro and macro level. In addition, the thesis carries out analyses of Czech data in the period 1989-2010. While the macro analysis is focused on interaction between fertility and economy performance, the micro analysis is devoted to financial support provided by state to the family via the social scheme and the tax system. Motivational function in management control system in real company

This thesis deals with motivational function in management control system in a real company. The opening and theoretical part of the thesis describe some pieces of knowledge and terms which are closely related to the content of the main part of the thesis. The main goals of the thesis are the description itself and function of the monitored company in generating bussines results under the influence of motivational functions. These functions also influence regional managers, who are the employess that produce these results. The inspection the links between system performance measurement and incentive system (which is one the goals of this thesis) is described at the conclusion. Here is among other things a description of the link between theoretical knowledge and actual activities of the monitored company.

THE ROLES OF MIDWIFE IN ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE BREASTFEEDING

Breast-feeding is one of the first most important emotional moments for the mother and for the child. According to existing researches breast-feeding brings the child protection from allergy, it improves the immune system, supports the healthful growth of the bones and provides nutritional energetical value. Breast-feeding is an essential way of nourishment, which the mother can offer the child and it is finantially undemanding. It is important for pregnant women to be prepared to breast-feeding, they can attend some prenatal courses or they can come to a prenatal advisory centre. If a woman wants to breast-feed her child, she should know the principles of right breast-feeding, the technique and the breast-feeding positions. The role of a midwife is to educate a woman during the pregnancy and after the birth of the child. The thesis includes anatomy of the breast, the characteristic, advantages and methods of breast-feeding, the composition the breast milk, the definition of the term ?midwife? and activities to support breast-feeding. The thesis deals with awarness of the pregnant women about breast-feeding. It finds out about how pregnant women are informed about breast-feeding. It also finds out what activities midwives do. The research has been done through questionnaires by the quantitive method. The research group was formed of fifty puerperas from the hospital in České Budějovice and from the hospital in Pelhřimov. The other research group was formed of fifty midwives from the primal care of the towns of Jindřichův Hradec, České Budějovice and Pelhřimov. It is possible to use the resuls of the thesis as an information material for midwives working in primal care. The results can help through informed midwives to improve the awareness of pregnant women and can be used in prenatal courses to educate women about breast-feeding.
