Czech music journalism focused on rock music during the period of normalization

The thesis "Czech music journalism focused on rock music during the period of normalization" reflects the position and importance of Czech rock music journalism within the structure and development of normalization of the media system. It is brought back through the oral historical research based on authentic evidence of their protagonists. It defines the initial prerequisites (ideological, political and socio-cultural) which are important to understand the circumstances under which rock music could be created and developed into an institution. It all depended on the confrontational attitude of communist power towards rock music generally. The next methodic element how to fulfill the defined goals is descriptive and comparative perspective. On this basis there is confronted official and samizdat's area of magazine production on the example of chosen periodicals. There also belong other qualitative aspects of music journalism (personalization, professionalization and every day editorial job). At the end the accepted conclusions are supported by the analysis and interpretation of chosen cultural and music events. They are divided by the method of their media coverage from official and samizdat periodicals.

"Mare nostrum" and "la politica mussoliniana"

This thesis deals with the Mediterranean region vis-á-vis the fascist imperial plan that contain acquisitions or leastwise enforcements of all Mediterranean coast. It is a specific analysis thoroughly tackling the issue in geopolitical and historic context. Despite the fact that the topic is extremely interesting it has not been properly described thusfar in Czech research or scientific literature. The Roman Empire ruled the entire coastline of the Mediterranean sea and from its center on the Apennine peninsula managed to control the whole region through its political ability and as well as due to the central location at the Mediterranean sea. Because of the fact that, the Romans were able to expand their authority to all Mediterranean region thus it became an embosomed field. That's why the Romans called it "mare nostrum." Additionally, this thesis is concerned with endeavours to restore the Roman Empire to its former glory that were active in all phases of its historical development following its disintegration. The central position of the Apennine peninsula in the Mediterranean sea, which favours Italy ability to control the entire sea, enticed the liberal governments of the Italian kingdom to expand. Reflections on the Chechen War in Czech documenatary film

Bachelor thesis deals with the image of the Chechen conflict in the Czech documentary film in the 90‘s and tries to understand the environment in which this image was created. Much of the work is devoted to the social and political context of the time. This is especialy a formation of institutions after Velvet revolution such as People in Need and Epicentrum agency, which significantly contributed to the media interpretation of the conflict. Thesis also analyzes the television documentaries reflecting Chechen war in terms of content and tone. Finally considers to what extent was the message of the documentary film makers influenced by ideological attitudes and social order. The aim is to determine what factors influenced the final form of films and on what basis it was biasd to the on side of the conflict.

Later and Foreign Works of Josef Mach

The monographic thesis mainly solves poetry and prose of Josef Mach, the Czech writer, journalist and clerk. It watches literary progress of his poetics according to the era context, influenc of places, historical and social events and inspirations of other artists who surrounded him. The work look into the texts and lyrics by a diachronic and synchronic way. The section about his original works is followed by a chapter about translations of several novels, because he acted even on this literary field. Then the general outline of the reception of Mach's personality and works since the time of his life until today. The whole thesis is introduced by Mach's biography to which it returns in many topics because his works have an empiric character and it is closely connected to the life. The object of the thesis is to sum information about all these topics and give it as a base for future expert research.

Nationalization processes in Czechoslovakia 1945-1946

In my bachelor work I shall address the situation of Czechoslovakia in the years of 1945 -- 1948 with focus on nationalization processes. In the first part I will outline the difficult political situation in the post-war time, the rise of National Front and the the slow accession of communists to the power, culminating in February 1948. I shall also point out the reasons which reorientated czechoslovakian foreign policy towards the SSSR. In the second part I focused on Beneš decrees, especially nationalization decrees. I shall also metion those that led to the punishment of Germans, Hungarians, traitors and collaborators. Furthermore, I will analyze decrees that led to nationalization of key industry, joint-stock banks and insurance companies. I will focus not only on their statutory texts and their discussion by the government, but also their economic and social effects. The aim of this work is to analyze nationalization decrees to the reader,since they are documents that influenced course of events in Czechoslovakia for the next fifty years.

Differences between literary production and film production.

In my thesis I will deal with comparison of literary work and its adaptation as a film. The object of our investigation in this case is film adaptation produced by Vaclav Gajer - Flirt with Miss Silver (1969). This was the result of director revelation this meaningful literary work made by Josef Škvorecký Miss Silver Past (1963-1967). Firstly we will think about literary model and film from general point of view like original phenomenons of art than we will describe concrete works.This works are the aim of our investigation and we will try to explain their spirit. We will describe real circumstances of their origin. Keeping in mind that both works appeared in the 60's of the last century, it is necessary to remind political atmosphere and remember events in previous Czechoslovakia.

Title: Management of sporting event - 6 Nations Objectives: Target of the thesis is brought and defines problems with organization sport action 6 Nations. Whole organization will be describe and next will be analyzed the problems, with which the organizers had the opportunity to meet. With help of selected theoretic method will be on the conception of the project the next year show, how prevent and eliminate the arising situation so as the negative repercussion was least. The most important chapter is propagation of the action and options, that this part was the best result. Methods: With help of descriptive case study and date analysis of case study will be description organization of whole action that will be analyzed. On a questionnaire and discussion will be shown problems with propagation and will be devise the methods of propagation so as the propagations was the most intensive and reach target groups. In conclusion is done generalization the obtained results and setting assumptions to successful organization of sport enterprise. Results: Have been identified deficiencies in quality of propagation that wasn't focused on ideal target groups and thus not be met, which was set before the event. This dissertation is focused on issues of tourist industry of states of Benelux. The first part defines theoretical background, basic terms, terminology, definitions and basic principles, which you need to introdukce yourself to this issue. In the second part you can find the descriptions of chosen destinations from general informations, which are used to identify an recognition of countries to concrete localities and events, which will appeal in practical part. Practical part is a proposal of own excursion tours. Excursion tours will be narrowly focused on interests of tourists to give them the biggest addend value. There is an analysis of supply of tours of czech tour operators too.
