MoO3 supported on mesoporous molecular sieves - new catalysts for alkene metathesis and alkyne polymerization
Topka, Pavel ; Čejka, Jiří (advisor) ; Červený, Libor (referee) ; Hlubucek, Vratislav (referee)
Comprehensive Summary of PhD Thesis MoO3 supported on mesoporous molecular sieves - new catalysts for alkene metathesis and alkyne polymerization MoO3 nanesený na mesoporesních molekulových sítech - nové katalyzátory pro metathesi alkenů a polymerizaci alkinů (souhrn disertační práce) Ing. Pavel Topka J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry of the ASCR, v. v. i. Department of Physical and Macromolecular Chemistry Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague Prague, 2008 2 Introduction Modern homogeneous catalysts for metathesis reactions are based on stable carbene complexes especially of Ru, Mo, and W [1]. For large-scale industrial applications, heterogeneous catalysts remain the preferable choice because of low cost, high stability, easy catalyst regeneration and the possibility of easier separation of the catalyst from the reaction mixture. Typical examples are MoO3/SiO2, WO3/SiO2 and Re2O7/Al2O3, without or with cocatalyst (usually tetraalkyltin). Tungsten and molybdenum oxide catalysts require higher reaction temperatures, where side reactions decreasing metathesis selectivity can occur. Only rhenium oxide catalysts exhibit a high activity and selectivity at reaction temperatures below 100 řC. Supported molybdenum oxide catalysts have received much attention because they are widely used in...

Development of exchange rate regime and policy in the Czechoslovak republic between two World Wars
Němečková, Šárka ; Kalínská, Emílie (advisor) ; Lukáš, Zdeněk (referee)
The goal of this diploma work is to evaluate the process and form of determination for czechoslovak crown's exchange rate at beginning of the autonomous Czechoslovak republic and consequential implementation of monetary policy according to the development of economic situation until the beginning of the Second World War. At first I will aim to outline initial economic and monetary situation in the Czech countries before the Austria-Hungary empire break-up. The main focus of the whole work is the monetary reform in the Czechoslovak republic in 1919 whose creator was Alois Rašín. Consequently I will focus on formation of the Czechoslovak monetary policy and monetary stabilization until the world economic crisis. The important step in this period was the foundation of the autonomous emissive bank, which should have strengthened the confidence of currency and separated monetary policy from political interests. The start of the world economic crisis caused breakdown of all economics including the czechoslovak one. Due to this situation I would like to focus also on consequences of the crisis and the solutions suggested by Karel Engliš. At the end of this diploma work I would like to describe the final years of independence of the czechoslovak monetary policy before occupation and the Second World War.

Designing mass modification of client contact records and theirs consolidation within financial institution
Převrátil, Martin ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Jeřábek, František (referee)
This master thesis deals with management request towards informatics department within front company that provides wide range of financial services. Demand refers to client contact data, particularly correspondence addresses and calls for possibility to mass change such records. There are several relatively separated tasks which need to be discussed in order to fulfill the request. First part introduces the company and analyze current situation. Then continue by describing correspondence addresses issue and supports with reasons for the inevitable change. Company's information system architecture is outlined with emphasis on central database that is being formed. This part also further describes options how data can be stored. Middle part contains reason--based choice where correspondence records should be maintained in company's data architecture. Implementation plan with chosen storage pattern is formed here and connected changes in system are highlighted. As a last processes connected to correspondence addresses mass modification are described and drawn with selected notation. After that user graphic interface is designed as a place where the self request will be served.

perspective of information retrieval on the internet
Janovský, Lukáš ; Sklenák, Vilém (advisor) ; Pinkas, Otakar (referee)
The aim of this work is to introduce to the problems of information search on the internet and at the same time outline the development of this branch to the future. The reader can find here the description of chosen techniques that are used for automatic indexing that is important for submission of documents. After I survey to the possibilities of advanced queries that can make the queries more definite and that impact the result of found publications. This work also deal with modern trends as perfection of position in the search engines. The reader can find here problems that can ensue by searching. In the last chapter there are described some of modern trends of information searching. In this work I use some of practical examples of whole searching and their results. With regard to dynamism of this branch it is possible that in the future will be results different.

Modern approaches to web development
Porazil, Tomáš ; Sklenák, Vilém (advisor) ; Šubrta, Václav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is the introduction to the modern approaches to web development. The thesis is divided into three main parts. First two parts are theoretical and last part is practical. The frst part presents two technologies, web services and the object-relational mapping, that meant a large boom in the web applications during last years. The second part of this work explains web frameworks Ruby on Rails and Django. These frameworks are representatives of moderns tools for web development. Programming languages Ruby and Python are introduced along with those frameworks. Final part of this work is practical and shows how simple appli- cation would be implemented in the frameworks Ruby on Rails and Django. Themain contribution of this thesis is introducing modern approaches of web development and outline possible future development.
