Reform of common agricultural policy (CAP)

Tématem mé diplomové práce je reforma společné zemědělské politiky Evropské unie. Ve své práci se zaměřuji na analýzu této problematiky od počátku 90.let až do současné doby. Reformy SZP zkoumám jak chronologicky, tak i tématicky. V diplomové práci pojednávám o příčinách, které vedly k realizaci reforem SZP. Rozděluji je na vnější a vnitřní faktory. Zabývám se MacSharryho reformou, relevantními pasážemi Agendy 2000, které se vztahují k otázkám reformy společné zemědělské politiky Evropské unie. Dále zahrnuji do své diplomové práce reformu SZP z roku 2003 a příslušné pasáže Lisabonské smlouvy týkající se SZP. Z tématického hlediska jsem téma reformy SZP rozdělila do čtyř okruhů. Analyzuji změny politické, finanční, právní a změny cílů. Ve své diplomové práci hledám mimo jiné odpověď na otázku, zda došlo v souvislosti s realizací reforem SZP EU od počátku 90.let ke změnám ve všech čtyřech výše uvedených kategoriích. Nedílnou součástí mé práce je rozbor způsobu fungování agrárního sektoru ve všech členských zemích Evropské unie. Rovněž zkoumám souvislosti mezi reformami SZP EU a zemědělskou politikou v členských státech Evropské unie. Zjištěné poznatky shrnuji v závěrečné části mojí diplomové práce.

Populační dynamika ruderálních druhů ve vztahu k limitujícím podmínkám prostředí

Hlavním cílem projektu je identifikace a ocenění významu hlavních podmínek pro rozvoj expanzních druhů rostlin náročných na živiny v lesní vegetaci. Téma je rozděleno do dílčích částí: a) analýza vegetace modelových ploch a její interpretace zaměřená na expanzní druhy, ustupující druhy, indikačně významné druhy, b) stanovení zásoby živých semen v půdě (analýza semenné banky), c) analýza intenzity deště semen, d) stanovení obsahu hlavních živin a organického uhlíku v půdě, event. pomocných půdních charakteristik, e) popis světelných poměrů stanoviště, především kvantifikace celkového světelného požitku a spektrálních poměrů významných pro klíčení semen, f) popis významných spolupůsobících faktorů (vlhkostní poměry, poměry řídící akumulaci opadu, mikro a mezomorfologie stanoviště, spouštěcí faktorys - mechanické disturbance apod.), g) formulace zásad hospodaření podporující zachování biodiverzity na vybraných lokalitách.

French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (July - December 2008)

Diploma thesis deals the analysis of the French presidency of the Council of the European Union which was held from 1st July until 31th December 2008. France exerised its presidency within 18-month Presidency trio together with the Czech republic and Sweden. Five main priotities were appointed by France. The main fields of interest were: climate and energy, defence, common agricultural policy, immigration and foundation of the Union for Mediterranean. The course of the Presidency was influenced by unxpected events and it was necessary for France to deal with them. The country in the head of the European Union is obliged to fulfill defined functions: the manager of work of the Council the European Union, its representative and negotiator, author of political priorities and defender of its national interests. Prevention of Violence and Aggressiveness among Children of the Older Pupilage

This thesis deals with a prevention of violence and aggressiveness among children of the older pupilage. It mainly focuses on the aggressiveness among children, on the chicane as a special case of aggression and on the primary prevention how to precede these pathologic events. The main goal of this thesis is to find out an engagement of primary schools to the preventive programmes and projects within the prevention of force and aggressiveness in children at the upper primary school level. The research is focused on using the project of the Police of the Czech republic "Children set!" at the upper primary school level. The results of this research were used to the creation of a project which could be included in the upper primary school level education within the personal and the social education (according to the FEP). The project offers a time lay-out and a content structure of the lessons, a recommendation of the suitable teaching methods including a motivaton for pupils.

Finanční Analýza a Ohodnocení Společnosti Lufthansa

The aim of the thesis is to provide investors and other stakeholders with an approach how to calculate the fair value of a company and its stocks to make an investment decision. As stock market prices are influenced by many events, they rarely reflect the true underlying value of the company. The company investigated in this thesis is the German airline company Lufthansa. A strategic, a financial and a ratio analysis are performed before the fair value is assessed using the discounted cash flow method under three future scenarios. The analyses revealed a possible undervaluation of the company, which led to a buy recommendation for shares of Lufthansa.

This diploma thesis is devoted to the CzechTek 2005 topic and the way it was presented in Tachovsky denik and Mlada fronta Dnes. More specifically it describes the period between July 27, 2005 and August 8, 2005. We tried to answer the question concerning this event coverage objectiveness. That means we decided to find out whether the event representation and following thematically wider debate were unbiased or rather biased, and if so in what direction and for the benefit of which participant or opinion. Valuation of investment in the existing firm

The goal of the disertation is valuation of economic effectiveness of the project of building and operation of data centre (telehouse centre). The theoretical part contains basic principles and methods of risk analysis of investment project (break event point, sensitivity analysis), the description of preparation and realisation of investment project, planning of cash flow, determination of discount rate, the possible ways of finance of investment project, the methods of valuation of effectiveness investments. The practical part contains the analysis of telecommunication market, Porters model of competitive powers in the sphere of telecommunication firm, specification of the costs of the project, price statement of Serverhousing, the plan of costs, plan of profit and lost statement, the determination of net present value.

Velocity of money and its relevance for monetary policy

The thesis discusses some issues on the topic of money velocity. Its goal is to summarise theroretical contributions in this area, which are followed by a practical application through the monetary analysis of the Slovak Republic from 1993 to 2000. The theoretical part involves the first approaches to money velocity, explanation of the quantity theory of money and monetarism and their critique. It also describes the monerary transmission mechanism. The practical application part evaluates the impact of the stability of money velocity on the decision of the National Bank of Slovakia to abandon monetary targeting. It also focuses on the other variables that influenced monetary policy execution. The last chapter is devoted to the importance of money velocity if the central bank uses inflation targeting as its policy.
