Assessment and proposal of financial strategy of the company Profil Nábytek, a.s.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess financial management of the company Profil Nábytek, a. s. in the years 2008 - 2013 on the basis of strategic and financial analysis, to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the financial management in reference to competition, to determine the possibilities of future development and to propose recommendations for future financial management. The thesis consists of two parts. The first theoretical part is devoted to the description of applied methods, theory and findings from the field of strategic and financial analysis. The content of the second practical part is the application of theoretical methods and findings on the concrete analysed company, including graphic presentation of achieved results and corresponding commentaries. In the final part there are summarized the results of the analysis and identified the strengths and weaknesses of the company according to which the company performed well in the present difficult period, its situation has stabilized and is ready for the anticipated increase in the whole branch of furniture production.
How to use Competitive Intelligence in nonprofit organizations.

This work analyzes the possibilities of using of Competitive Intelligence in nonprofit organizations and suggests a method of implementation of Competitive Intelligence in the existing nonprofit organization. In the theoretical part I write about the nonprofit sector in the Czech Republic and selected countries of the European Union and I briefly describe the term Competitive Intelligence. In the practical part I use a questionnaire to analyze the possibilities of using of Competitive Intelligence in the nonprofit sector and after that I perform PESTEL and PORTER analyses of the SOS Children's Villages. In the end I use a multi-criteria evaluation to select the best method of the implementation of Competitive Intelligence in the analyzed organization.
Strategy for the company BAT-KLIMA spol s r.o.

This thesis is compiled on the Strategy for the company BAT-KLIMA spol. s r.o. and evaluate both the internal and external environment of this company. By analysing the support activities in the Value chain it came to the result that company need to hire new employees because three current employees go to pension and another three give a notice. All these employees should be substituted in order to maintain the effective production. IFE Matrix provides information about company's strength and weaknesses and is used for summarizing an internal environment of the company. From the result is obvious that the company has strong internal environment and do not need any radical changes except the improvement of marketing as regards their web page. Therefore the company BAT-KLIMA spol. s r.o. should pay some company that design web pages to create the new one because marketing activities are very important part when company wants to compete with others and it also shows the company's image. The external environment in the practical part encloses the EFE. The result was slightly above the average which means that the company do not have to make any changes in their environment in order to predict mistakes.
Free movement of services in EU market: Case study of mystery shopping in Poland

This diploma thesis analyzes free movement of services and freedom of establishment in EU countries. The main aim is to find an appropriate strategy for Czech marketing companies in the field of mystery shopping when providing business services into Poland. The goal is achieved through analysis of trends in EU internal service market, opportunities and barriers in providing services, mystery shopping characteristics with focus on Poland. Mystery shopping is building up its position in whole Central, Eastern and Southern EU countries According to pre-research the Poland was choosen as the best potentional target country for Czech companies. PESTEL analysis of political, economical, socio-cultural, technological, ecological and legal factors in Poland shows that this country has good macroeconomic environment for expansion of services. Thesis is built on analysis of mystery shopping industry in Poland too and summarized in external factor evaluation matrix. The biggest threat of providing the services are existing bargaining power of competitors and the power of customers in determining prices. External opportunities mainly for establishment are futher penetration into other market and getting more potentional customers, for posting of workers are mainly in easy entrance. Cross-border providing of services is suitable form of free movement till the Czech company has in average 3 projects in Poland. As a recommendation companies should use first of all posting of own workers, after deep cooperation with Polish clients and agreement on at least 3 projects the creation of daughter company is recommended to achieve higher competitiveness in Polish market, profit and stable economic growth. While expanding into Poland is recommended to use differentiation strategy to attract bigger market segments with focus on local conditions.
Evaluation of the level of the organic brewing industry in selected countries of the European union

This diploma thesis deals with the topic "Evaluation of the Level of Organic Brewing Industry in Selected Countries of the European Union". It is describing the current situation of organic hop growing industry and organic brewing industry in two selected countries that are the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany with the help of two analyses of the external environment (PESTEL analysis and the Porter's Diamond Model). On the basis of these two analyses the evaluation and comparison of both countries are done. And finally, as it is the main objective of this diploma thesis there are recommendations for Czech organic hop growers how to enter the German market and which export strategy is the most suitable for them.

This document deals with the private enterprise in the field of early childhood education and child care. Summarizes the various possibilities and forms of these institutions, which can currently be found in the Czech Republic, discusses their attributes. The aim is to draw attention to important facts and pitfalls related to the establishment and operation of private nursery schools to be included in the register of schools and school facilities. The work includes an internal analysis of strengths and weaknesses and the external analysis just as micro /macroenviroment political, environmental, socio-demographic, economic and legislative framework. Comparative Analysis of Competing Suppliers of Electricity to Households

In the theoretical part of this diploma thesis I will explain basic keywords for understanding the entire work. I would like to explain here the related theory of the electricity market in the Czech Republic and strategic analysis of the external environment. Also here will be indicated and introduced basic energy terms, composition of the electricity prices, history of the electricity market opening, activity of the Energy Regulatory Office and details of the price calculator. Further I will focus on description of the specific external analysis tools. In the practical part of this work I will characterize the whole industry, perform strategic analysis and compare specific suppliers of electricity to households.

This thesis analyses products of Cedro sole ltd., which is a company operating on nail care market in Czech Republic. Theoretical part defines basic terms and brings basis important for practical part. Practical part deals with company presentation, customers and the market company's operating on. This is followed by company's surroundings that describe the current situation on the nail care market. Marketing mix analysis shows ways of price setting, organisation of distribution and the ways of communication. All this is followed by product analysis of the sales numbers, revenues and margin during the studied years. Last part is focused on recommendations to improve sales numbers and market position.

This thesis is focused to create a project of photovoltaic power plant with energy output 1 MWp. Project should be realized in a land register of Lipnice nad Sázavou. Next target is identificatio of conditions for enterprising in energetics and renewable energy. Details are described in the branch of photovoltaics business. Part of thesis is focused to evaluation of feasibility, financial and administration obstacles include description of particular documents necessary for realization of the project. Other part of the thesis is focused to PESTEL analysis of corporate environment. There are described all aspects important for business activities in the field of photovoltaics. Thesis includes an economic analysis too. There are mentioned calculations of supposed economic progres during the 20 year. In this years redemption price is fixed in law. Unfortunatelly a changes are expect in next year. So these changes are took into account in calculations too.

This diploma thesis deals with current business environment of the Republic of South Africa which is examined by the PESTEL analysis. It is closely concerned with political, economic, social, technological, environmental and legislative environment of the RSA. This analysis is enriched by practical experience of some Czech entrepreneurs. Simultaneously, the thesis is engaged in business cooperation of this country with the Czech Republic. At the conclusion, possibilities of further extension of the cooperation between the CR and South Africans are identified.
