Specificity of interrogation of the injured as witness
Píchová, Petra ; Musil, Jan (advisor) ; Štourač, Petr (referee)
79 14. EXPROPRIATION OF OWNERSHIP TITLE TO LAND AND BUILDINGS This work is titled "Expropriation of ownership title to land and buildings". An expropriation is one of the special interference of the state to the property right. It not allows only to the deprivation of the ownership title but also the restriction thereof. In the Czech Republic there are legal bases of expropriation established in the Bill of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, which is part of constitutional system. Based on the article no. 11 this constitutional law the expropriation and limitation of property rights is possible only in public interest, under the rule of law and with compensation. The specification of these conditions of the article No. 11 of the Bill of Fundamental Rights and Freedom contain Czech Civil Code and the Commercial Code, which determines conditions for the expropriation of property owned by foreigners. The general rule for expropriation is Act No. 184/2006 Coll.(Expropriation Act), governing expropriation of the ownership title to land and buildings, including the next condition of expropriation, compensation for expropriation and special administrative procedure. One of the main legal conditions of expropriation is existence of purposes of expropriation. The Expropriation Act itself does not determine the purpose...

Excise duties and environmental taxes
Křížová, Helena ; Boháč, Radim (advisor) ; Vondráčková, Pavlína (referee)
Diplomová práce Spotřební a ekologické daně 94 Excise duties (diploma work) SUMMARY Excise duties are indirect taxes on the consumption or the use of certain products. In contrast to value added tax, they are mainly specific taxes, i.e. expressed as a monetary amount per quantity of the product. The most commonly applied excise duties are those on alcoholic beverages, manufactured tobacco products and energy products (motor fuels and heating fuels, such as petrol and gasoline, electricity, natural gas, coal and coke). The basic principles applicable to all products subject to excise duties have been laid down in Council Directive 92/12/EEC of 25 February 1992 on the general arrangements for products subject to excise duty and on the holding, movement and monitoring of such products. Products subject to excise duties are generally produced, and can afterwards be held under duty suspension, in tax warehouses. The establishment and operation of tax warehouses is subject to the authorization of the Member States. They should respect the principles laid down in Commission Recommendation 2000/789/EC of 29 November 2000 setting out guidelines for the authorisation of warehousekeepers under Council Directive 92/12/EEC in relation to products subject to excise duty. The products can be sent under...

Protection of intellectual property and international law
Trbušková, Jana ; Pítra, Vladimír (advisor) ; Růžička, Michal (referee)
INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY PROTECTION AND INTERNATIONAL LAW The object of the thesis is an overview of contemporary issues in a domain of industrial property and protection given by national and international law. The industrial property contains an extensive category of the industrial property rights. We can divided them into category of rights to results of creative work (patents, utility models, industrial designs) and category of rights to the sign (trademarks and geographical indications). Owing to extensive scope of industrial property the thesis is focused only on a field of the patents and trademarks. The thesis is divided into four main parts. First part deals with statutory regulation of the patents. There are defined requirements of the granting patents for new technical solutions. Furthermore there is described the proceeding of the Industrial property Office and its examination whether the invention complies all requirements of patentability. Thesis describes a system of national protection of inventions that is granted only for the area limited by the state boarder. The thesis is not focused only on protection given by national law but it determines also the present-day international systems of industrial property protection. I mention protection established by Patent Cooperation Treaty that...

Analysis of the activity of Land Fund of the Czech Repulic
Ulrychová, Helena ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Kučerová, Jaroslava (referee)
I will aim in my Bachelor work at the activity of Land Fund of the Czech Republic which is the substantial factor in solution the problem of deprivation and disregarding of private ownership during the political system before the year 1989. I have chosen this theme because the working of Land Fund in contrast to other transformation institutions hasn't finished yet by far. In the first theory-methodical part I will introduce the basic matter at issue of the transformation of the national economy after the year 1989, mainly the changes on laws in force and the following process of privatization and restitution. I will focus the cause and conditions why Land Fund of the Czech Republic was established. In the analytical part I will map out the position of Land Fund within institutional framework and I will introduce the object of its working and the structure of property which has been operated. In the description of the principal function of Land Fund I will use the basic established law No 569/1991. In this part I will refer to leading areas of its engagement, especially administration of the real-estate property, its privatization sales to people without the restitutional claim and eventually the realization of agricultural and forestry restitution to authorized people. Finally I will analyse the Fund management system including the organizing structure and some other procedures of this organization. The intension of my work is to characterize the influence of Land Fund in the process of the transformation of real-estate property. In conclusion I'd like to think over the functionality of Land Fund and its importance for today and future.

Title: Compact objects in categories of modules Author: Peter Kálnai Department: Department of Algebra Supervisor: Mgr. Jan Žemlička, Ph.D., Department of Algebra Abstract: In the thesis we state baic properties of compact objects in various appropriate categories like categories of modules, stable factor category over a perfect ring and Grothendieck categories. We find a ring R such that the class of dually slender R-modules is closed under direct products under some set-theoretic assumption. Finally, we characterize the conditions, when countably generat- ed projective modules are finitely generated, expressed by their Grothendieck monoid. Keywords: compact, dually slender module, stable module category, projective module, self-small

Humanist democracy of Edvard Beneš
Podlaha, Petr ; Čechurová, Jana (advisor) ; Kuklík jun., Jan (referee)
Beneš was committed to the rather radical economical and political ideas of socialism already before the war. He believed that old parliamentarian system of liberal democracy would be inevitably replaced after the war with the new system of humanitarian democracy - the political democracy amended by the social and economic democracy. Beneš suggested that the government should regulate all the important parts of political, social and economic life of the post-war society. The biggest problem of the Czechoslovak prewar political democracy was according to Beneš, the existence of too many parties. Therefore only two, at most three political parties would be allowed to take part in the political struggle after the war. These parties would be organized solely on the basis of the approach towards progress. On the left side of the political spectrum, there would be a uniform socialist party and on the right, there would be a conservative party. The establishment of any other party should be banned. The communists should be part of the socialist party. According to Beneš they would be outnumbered and neutralized there by the other democratic socialist parties. The market economy according to Beneš is an obsolete system and therefore it should be replaced with a planned economy. All bigger businesses and natural...

Semiadaptive 3D modeling
Kubík, Pavel ; Pelikán, Josef (referee) ; Winkler, Zbyněk (advisor)
In first part of this paper, methods for reducing complexity of building 3D maps are introduced. These methods use predictions about scene properties or special hardware devices for reducing complexity such as a laser range finder, an omnidirection camera or both. Furthermore, an algorithm for creating a reconstructed scene using a camera and robot odometry is presented. The method presupposes moving on a straight floor and an indoor environment. A user can interact with the algorithm and help with creating model or with repairing parts of the model, if they were not satisfactorily created by the automatic algorithm. An interaction also allows to apply the method in various environments, which weren't initially planned. So, the adaptation to the new environment may be done by a user. The output model is exported to the common format for virtual reality VRML. This allows to view the model in e.g. a web browser. The presented method was implemented with a user interface to enable an interaction with the algorithm. The method was tested on data from the real world and the effectiveness of each user's interferences was evaluated.

A study of the properties of tablets from the mixtures of α-lactose monohydrate and of two types of microcrystalline celluloses.
Páleník, Lukáš ; Mužíková, Jitka (advisor) ; Šnejdrová, Eva (referee)
The paper deals with the study of the properties of tablets from the mixtures of the dry binders composed from 75% α- lactose monohydrate (Tablettose® 100) and 25 % microcrystalline celulose or microcrystalline celulose with 2% of colloidal silicon dioxide (Prosolv SMCC® ). The properties under study included the tensile strength and disintegration time in dependence on compression force, addition of two concentration of the lubricant magnesium stearate and a 50% addition of the active ingredient ascorbic acid. The compression forces were 23, 25, 27 kN, in the case of the tableting material with the active ingredient only 25 kN. The compacts from the mixture of Tablettose 100 and Prosolv SMCC 90 were of higher strength and the effect of lubricants wasn't so expressive like at mixtures with microcrystalline celulose only. Disintegratiion time was prolonged with the increasing of the concentration of magnesium stearate, more in the case of microcrystalline celulose in the mixture only. In the presence of ascorbic acid, the strength of tablets was decreased, the difference in the values of strength of tablets with silicified microcrystalline celulose and microcrystalline celulose wasn't. Ascorbic acid shorted the disintegration time too and more in the case of the mixture with Prosolv SMCC 90.
