Comedic elements in Shakespere's tragedies
Severinová, Klára ; Nováková, Soňa (referee) ; Hilský, Martin (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to discuss the comedic elements in Shakespeare's five tragedies, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth and King Lear. The Introduction presents the elements which I will try to cover in each of the play. Since the treatment of the elements is different play from play, its extent will differ accordingly. I would like to emphasize the existence of the comedy within the genre of tragedy and thus point out on the style which made Shakespeare a well read playwright for over centuries.

Conditions of Waste-made Fuel Combustion including legislative Requirement
Matoušek, Petr ; Pavlas, Martin (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes possibilities of usage of waste-made fuel from point of view of energetic utilisation in industry and power supply. There is a brief overview of energy resources structure, current situation in energy production and in waste management in Czech Republic. Particular types of waste-made fuels are also specified. One of the main parts of this work is fundamental analysis of legislation which governs waste management and alternative fuel usage. In the last part of the thesis the possibility of usage of mechanical-biological treatment as a waste management system is assessed.

Phenomena of death and dying in Czech literature of the 20th century
Záborcová, Milada ; Bílek, Petr (advisor) ; Papoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Med, Jaroslav (referee)
The dissertation thesis deals with distinct semantic levels of the theme of death and dying in a large context of Czech poetry and prose-fiction of the 20th century. In the first two chapters, the approach is supposed to cover broader interpretations of the treatment of death and dying based on philosophical, psychological, medical, ethic, and spiritual background. Due to the large range of the material, just essential frames of the attitudes towards dying are outlined, focusing on European medieval context and older texts of Czech literature. Philosophical background focuses on texts of selected writers who influenced Czech literature of the 20th century and/or were explicitly or implicitly reflected in it. The image of death and dying in Czech literature of the 20th century is analyzed in chapters that are based on periodisation that reflects substantial changes in the perception of death and in the ways of its verbal visualization in literature. The classification of texts is divided into five types based on the differences of the images of death in the composition of distinct literary texts. The first group has the specificities of texts of poetry and prose-fiction of catholic background: the authors, facing the secularization of the world in the first third of the 20th century, have to reflect the...

Case study of a patient after polytrauma, after lumbar spine surgery and with vertebral algic syndrome of cervical spine
Kociánová, Anna ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor) ; Schořová, Jitka (referee)
Name: Case study of a patient after polytrauma, after lumbar spine surgery and with vertebral algic syndrome of cervical spine The objective of this bachelor thesis is to acquire knowledge concerning the issue of scars and their treatment considering it both theoretically and practically and to present a case study which records a particular experience from physiotherapeutic process. The theoretical part discusses scar formation, refers to various types of pathological scars, and it describes the active scar and its influence on locomotory system. Subsequently, the subjects of scar examination, scar treatment along with options of medical and physiotherapeutic therapies are specified. The practical part of the thesis presents a case study of a patient after polytrauma, after lumbar spine surgery and with vertebral algic syndrome of cervical spine. The study draws upon various sources of information used in the theoretical chapter as well as upon qualification obtained in the bachelor study programme of physiotherapy at FTVS UK. Initial examination was carried out and therapy goals were set based on which physiotherapeutic methods focusing on acute and long-term troubles were applied. No invasive methods or techniques were used. On therapy termination, the final kinesiologic analysis and evaluation...

Importance of robot - assisted tubulisation of the stomach from patient's point of view
Klímová, Markéta ; Tvarůžek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Horáčková, Alexandra (referee) ; Schneiderová, Michaela (referee)
The bachelor's thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the obesity issue, with possibility of obesity treatment, with robot operating system ad Vinci. Mainly, it is focused on an operating method of robot-assisted tubulisation of the stomach. Further, it summarizes the pre-operative care of the patient after this operation. It also touches on psychological support and care of the patient after the operation tangentially. The empirical part summarizes the postoperative care of the patient after this operation, contains possible nursing diagnoses. Further, by means of a questionnaire, it finds out the reasons making the patients undergo the intervention, the differences in coping with postoperative care between individual patients. It asks about the type and quantity of early postoperative complications. It finds out, whether the patients tried an alternative method of weight reduction before this operation and what in particular. It also deals with patient's idea of weight reduction after the operation. The sample surveyed comprises 50 patients after the robot-assisted sleeve gastrectomy.

franchising as the most suitable form of entrance to a foreign market.

Utilization of waste material from the glass-sand production
Zach, Jaroslav ; Přikryl, Richard (advisor) ; Vavro, Martin (referee)
The presented diploma thesis is focused on possible use of waste from glass and foundry sands deposits of Provodín. The mineralogical and chemical composition, mechanical and physical properties, the specific surface area and parameters of pore area were studied. X-ray analysis proved the presence of kaolinite, illite, quartz and accessory microclin. Silicate analysis shows dominant presence of SiO2 80.52%, then Al2O3 11.36% and K2O 2.14%. This diploma thesis is focused on a possible use of studied material at three main areas: the potential use as a clay component in a raw material mixture for making of hydraulic lime, the use as a kaolinite absorbent and the potential use as a geotechnical material. The studied material was experimentally mixed with limestone in a ratio of 10; 15; 20 a 25 wt %. This mixture was subsequently burnt in the temperature range from 850 to 1,200řC. New phases were identified by an X-ray diffraction analysis. The results prove the presence of characteristic phases for hydraulic limes (C2S, C3A, C4AF). The formation of new phases depend on the temperature. The most of them are formed at a temperature of 1050řC and higher. For the characterization of a specific surface area and parameters of pore areas there were used simple studied material and thermally modified samples...
