The Concept of a criminal offence in the Czech Criminal Code
Novotný, Pavel ; Jelínek, Jiří (advisor) ; Tlapák Navrátilová, Jana (referee)
The Concept of a criminal offence in the Czech Criminal Code Abstract The diploma thesis examines the concept of a criminal offence in Act No. 40/2009 Coll., the Criminal Code. With the enactment of the new Criminal Code, a transition from a formal- material concept of a criminal offence to a formal concept has been made. With the enactment of Act No. 40/2009 Coll., the Criminal Code, the recodification work, which had lasted almost twenty years, was completed. The most discussed topic at the time of the preparation of the Criminal Code was precisely the concept of a criminal offence. The first chapter of the thesis introduces the general regulation of the concept and conception of a crime in separate and combined form and the most important terms related to the criminal offence. The second chapter presents the development of criminal law in the Czech lands from the 19th century beginning with the Code of Crimes and Serious Police Offences, through the preparation of the outlines of the Criminal Code in 1926 and 1937 up to the Criminal Act No. 140/1961 Coll. The third chapter presents the situation after 1989 on the way to the new penal code. It describes the substantive intention of the Criminal Code, with regard to possible alternatives to the concept of a criminal offences, which was approved by the...

Analysis of the Effects of Internal Recirculation Channel of a Radial Compressor on Extending the Stable Working Area
Paulík, Lukáš ; Vacula, Jiří (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The extension of the stable working area is very important especially for the radial compressors used in turbochargers. Compressors with high pressure ratio have a narrow stable operating region, which limits their practical use. One of the frequent modifications on radial compressor, concerning the extension of its range of stable work, is installation of an internal recirculation channel (IRC) in its inlet section. CFD programs are often used to simulate the flow through the turbomachines for optimizing the design of the IRC. Based on the extensive research, regarding the flow in the IRC and its location in the inlet of the compressor, suitable variants of its design were selected and applied to a radial compressor of the turbocharger. By simulating the flow in a radial compressor with the IRC, using Ansys CFX software, the compressor performance maps were determined. The best design of the IRC which meets the requirements for extending its stable working area was selected by evaluating the results of the simulations.

Design of a four-legged walking robot model
Novotný, Pavel - Jakub ; Adámek, Roman (referee) ; Appel, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with research in the field of quadruped robot development, creation of robot model in Simulink 3D Animation environment and design of algorithm for quadruped robot walking. This thesis develops the student project Jaromir from the year 2003 by building a robot with a parent-child bond that is more reliable for the robot's function. The thesis uses direct kinematics to develop the gait algorithm. The rotations are incrementally incremented for smooth robot motion. The objectives of this thesis were to research in the area of quadruped robot gait, create a quadruped robot model, and create a quadruped robot gait algorithm and test it in simulation.

Methodology for Determining the Dynamic characteristics of a Turbocharger Pneumatic Actuator
Hálek, Dominik ; Kocman, František (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dealing with design of Methodology for Determining the Dynamic characteristics of a Turbocharger Pneumatic Actuator. Pneumatic Actuator is used as a control mechanism in turbocharged internal combustion engines, which affects the engine performance, efficiency and fuel consumption. Main aim of this thesis is to develop a systematic comprehensive procedure for collecting and analysing measured data of dynamic behaviour of this actuator. In the first part of the thesis, an experimental method is designed and implemented to measure the data required to analyse the dynamics of the actuator at different variations of pressure, displacement and frequency settings. A measurement chain with appropriate sensors is built and a software environment for data acquisition and storage is developed. In the second part of the thesis, the experimentally measured data are evaluated using mathematical model in Matlab software environment to extract stiffness and damping values from measured data and determine their dependence on frequency, pressure and displacement.

Design of Turbine Safety Cover for Turbocharger
Mach, Petr ; Kudláček, Petr (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue related to the burst covers of turbochargers, followed by the design of the safety cover for turbine housing, which works as a protective barrier in case of possible destruction of the turbocharger rotor. The design is created according to current knowledge from the containment testing and requirements for the highest level of safety during turbocharger operation. In this diploma thesis, there are made 2 new variants of burst cover. The first aims at a lower purchase price and it is suitable for applications where it is not necessary to have the highest protection level. The second variant aims to face the strictest conditions and uses reinforced walls, which makes it a more expensive product. For both designs of the burst cover, there is made an analysis of vibrations due to long-term trouble-free operation, which is followed by further modification of the design. In the last part, burst covers are checked for high-cycle material fatigue. The output of this diploma thesis are therefore two new designs of the safety covers that are suitable in terms of vibrations caused by the internal combustion engine.

Reducing friction losses of piston rings
Csintalan, Radoslav ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of reducing the friction losses of the first sealing piston rings of the VW Group 1.5 TSI, 110kW engine. The first part of the thesis theoretically deals with the issue of piston rings in terms of their classification. Reduction of friction losses is ensured by PVD and PECVD coating technology. The second part of the thesis describes the production of coated piston rings. Measurements are performed on the created coatings, which are compared and evaluated in the conclusion at the end of the thesis.

Study of the Gas Blow-by through the Turbocharger Sealing System
Požár, Vladimír ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Vacula, Jiří (advisor)
The work focuses on the investigation of gas flow within the sealing system of a turbocharger, specifically in the compressor section. The sealing „piston” ring located here is the main subject of the study, primarily examining the influence of the ring's geometry and its positioning in the shaft groove on gas leakage into the bearing housing. Furthermore, the behavior of this flow under various boundary conditions is assessed by testing different flow types.

Hodnocení ekonomických ukazatelů výroby mléka
Novotný, Pavel
Bachelor thesis is focused on the topic evaluation of factors affecting the economy of milk production. The basis is based on the description of breeds suitable for milk production. The second part deals with the monetization of milk – parameters for the classification of milk into a quality group, development of milk prices. A part of the work is a description of parameters affecting the cost of milk production, including measures to reduce these costs.
