Integration and education of children with disabilities in primary schools in the chomutov region
KOLÍNKOVÁ, Michaela
The topic of the Bachelor Thesis relates to the integration and education of children with a bodily handicap in basic schools in the Chomutov Region. In the theoretical part of my thesis I deal with the terminology of the integration and definition of the term of bodily handicap, and I describe the development of the school integration in the Czech Republic, while I focus particularly to the support of the integration in terms of the legislative and economic funding. I aim at the role of special-pedagogical centres and pedagogical-psychological consultancy offices in the process of integration. The main goal of my thesis was to identify how the conditions of integration are fulfilled from the point of view of the Headmasters of schools, teachers, assistants, pedagogues, and, but not limited to, the parents themselves. For the satisfaction of the main goal, I set up three partial goals. At first, to identify the financial conditions of the integration, at second, to find out the extent of the awareness of the pedagogues, and at first, what the activity of special- pedagogical centres is, and/or of the pedagogical-psychological consultancy offices in this area of their professional work. For my research, I used a questionnaire survey at which I attempted to find out the opinions, attitudes and experience of the pedagogues as well of the parents of the integrated pupils. For the survey at the consultancy school facilities I employed the methods of a semi-controlled interview. Through my survey performed, I managed to find out that the addressed respondents showed, in the majority of the cases, a positive approach to integration. The Headmasters of schools see, as the core one, the problem of insufficient financial funds for the integration. The teachers particularly encounter partial problems directly at the time of teaching. The approach of all assistants of pedagogues to integration is positive, however their workload is not clearly defined. From the parents' point view, the conditions for the integration are good, and they see in it an unambiguous benefit for their children. Integration in the Czech Republic is legislatively supported, but in the normal life of schools it however has been facing both the financial and practical difficulties. Because in the Chomutov District, there is only a special-pedagogical centre aimed at defects of hearing, I believe that a facility focused on all types of handicap would be vastly beneficial.

Development centre
Hnojská, Petra ; Riegel, Karel (referee) ; Wagnerová, Irena (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a theme which is very modern nowadays. Development Centre is a program composed by a set of methods aimed to employees development. With a view to results of DCs an individua! developing pian for participant can be created. This pian can help the participant to reach desirable level of his abilities, knowledge and skills. The advantage is to associate DCs with wellestablished HR strategies like Performance Management, Talent Management, Career Planning etc. The purpose of this work is to attempt to map the subject of DCs in its whole width and present what can this technique offer, point out its advantages and disadvantages, try to critically introduce what we can expect from this technique and what cannot be awaited.

Three times nothing. The first time, a phenomenology of nothingness. The second time, an analysis of anxiety. The last time, a fundamental ontology.
Hadzi-Pulja, Vera ; Dupuis, Michel (advisor) ; Frogneux, Nathalie (referee) ; Gély, Raphael (referee)
My Master thesis (Michel Dupuis dir.) was a part of my Erasmus Mundus Europhilosophie curriculum. Focused on the topics of anxiety/dread (Angst) and nothingness (Nichts), it was an opportunity for me to establish a comparison between Heidegger and Kierkegaard. Thus, I attempted to construe the phenomenon of anxiety and the nothingness that this anxiety is getting anxious about, in the works of both philosophers. This analysis led me to elaborate an ontology of birth (as well transcendental and mundane (weltlich)), which is neglected by Heidegger in Sein und Zeit in favour of an interpretation centred on being-toward-death as a way of being for the Dasein. I also determined this ontology of birth as a new starting point for reconsidering the introductory problematic of Sein und Zeit, namely the fundamental ontology (Fundamentalontologie). Overriding Heidegger's failure to lead to its end the project of a fundamental ontology, I maintained that this project would become achievable, but only if based on the ontology of birth previously mentioned. This new way led me to a reinterpretation of the fundamental-ontology, that is to say a science of the Being (Sein) as the Being, beyond particular beings (Seiende) and their essences (Wesen), as metaphysics of facticity.

Denková, Adéla ; Šafařík, Petr (advisor) ; Handl, Vladimír (referee)
Bachelor thesis "The Media Image of the Centre Against Expulsions in Polish and Czech Daily Newspapers in the Years 2003 and 2004" deals with a comparison of four Polish and Czech daily newspapers and their approach to the subject of the Centre Against Expulsion which is an institution initiated by the German Federation of Expellees. In the first part the thesis treats the circumstances leading to the creation of a foundation which is supposed to promote the idea of the Centre and describes the debate that was started about this issue. The merits of the thesis are based on a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the dailies Rzeczpospolita, Gazeta Wyborcza, Právo and Mladá fronta DNES. By this analysis the thesis monitors how much space the newspapers devoted to the topic, to which opinions they gave a chance to be heard and what was their attitude to the question. It also deals with the chosen lexis and other categories that can show the approach to the issue. On this basis the thesis compares the Polish and Czech newspapers. As the thesis presumes that media production is interacted with the society's concern about a certain topic, the authoress of this paper tries to relate the results of her research to the attitude of Polish and Czech society to the Centre Against Expulsions. She attempts to...

Pudil, Pavel ; Somol, Petr ; Haindl, Michal
The research report gives an overview of feature selection techniques in statistical pattern recognition with particular emphasis to methods developed by the researchers participating in MATEO Centre of Mechatronics project. Besides discussing the advances in methodology it attempts to put them into a taxonomical framework. The methods discussed include the latest variants of the optimal algorithms, enhanced sub-optimal techniques and the simultaneous semi-parametric probability density function modelling and feature space selection method. Some related issues are illustrated on real data by means of the Feature Selection Toolbox software.

The influence of hallux on stand and gait stability
Hlinková, Zuzana ; Valouchová, Petra (advisor) ; Bitnar, Petr (referee)
The diploma thesis "Vliv palce nohy na stabilitu stoje a chůze" is focused on the function of hallux at stance and through the gait cycle and particularly to halluxes influence on stability of the stated motor stereotypes. The theoretical part summarizes the knowledge gained through literature research on anatomy and kinesiology of hallux. It also contains analysis of gait cycle and muscle coordination through it with emphasis upon activity of foot and function of hallux muscles. The practical part attempts to objectivize changes in stability and changes of loading of foot with instrumental examination. Force plate Balance Master® and GaitPlatform FDM were used for the measurements. On the force plate the parametres of movement of the centre of mass (COM, COG) and maintenance of stability while standing were compared. GaitPlatform® was used for measurement of ground reaction forces while standing and walking. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Violence and formal challenge in the plays of Sarah Kane and Martin Crimp
Strnadová, Klára ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee) ; Wallace, Clare (advisor)
Both Crimp and Kane are genuine innovators of the dramatic form. The issues dealt with in their works are related; they share similar concerns about the dangers of nowadays' society - and, with it, theatre. This might not be apparent at first sight because of the divergence of styles. Crimp's style is language-centred, hyper-realistic at times, drawing a lot from the theatre of the absurd. He provides a characteristic mixture of satirical edge, ironic detachment and hidden threat. While Crimp works exclusively with the contemporary sensibility, Kane's proximity to the tradition of tragedy can be seen in what she employs in her plays - the big passions, "love, hate, death, revenge, suicide."1 Kane differs from both modernists and postmodernists by her refusal of detachment and by her requirement of emotional involvement. Both the playwright and her characters are absolutist, truth-seeking and provocative. Crimp prevents emotional identification even in the plays that at first sight seem realistic; in the experimental dramas, the distancing device of having stories narrated rather than just shown "allows Crimp to mix acerbic satire with rapid shifts of tone and focus,"2 asking intellectual questions in a convincingly dramatic form. The intense emotional content, which in Kane is delivered by the explicit,...

Investigation into the role of Pedagogical counsellor (výchovný poradce) in the Education of Children with Special Education Needs (SEN) in the Mainstream Primary Schools of Central Prague
Habib, Md. Ahsan ; Novosad, Libor (referee) ; Wildová, Radka (advisor)
The movement for inclusive education produces number of innovations. One of this is special services coordinators (SENCOs) in the mainstream schools. When the schools start accepting the children with special education needs it becomes inevitable to take someone with special training and knowledge responsibility of these children in the mainstream schools. In Czech Republic Pedagogical Counsellor (Výchovný Poradce) were given this responsibility of coordination by legislation. The present research attempts to explore the role of Výchovný Poradce in relation to the children with special education needs in legislation as well as in practice. The research also aims to investigate the challenges the Výchovný Poradce face and how they over come the challenges. A total 26 participants including teachers, Výchovný Poradce, special pedagogue (mainstream school), special pedagogue (special centres) and parents were engaged in collecting data through interviews, questionnaire and focused group discussion. As an exploratory research a sequential mixed method research design was applied where initial qualitative data collection and analysis was followed by a quantitative data collection and analysis. The findings show that the role of the Výchovný Poradce is not a one-person coordination concern on Czech schools rather...
