Design and development of application for position monitoring

The aim of the master’s thesis was to implement in the C++ language a software solution of the localization of the mobile phone with Symbian OS in the GSM network. The intended purpose of this solution would be especially the phone localization in the case of its theft or loss. A familiarization with the development process of the Symbian platform and understanding the features of the Symbian version of the C++ language preceded the realization itself, because the Symbian C++ has an original style of the memory manipulation and error handling. The Symbian C++ basic principles and its features used in the implemented software are described in the second chapter of the text part, the first chapter deals with the history and version structuring of the Symbian OS. In the third part of the text is described the created software. The realized solution consists of three parts – server application PhoneLocServer for a mobile device, client application PhoneLocClient for a PC and the web-located part. The server was developed for the Symbian OS in the C++ language in the IDE Carbide.c++ and was tested in the S60 3rd edition SDK MR emulator and on the real device Nokia N73. It is a GUI-less application running in the background, which is run automatically after a smartphone start-up. It controls the incoming SMS over the socket listening and the messages addressed to itself processes before a user can notice them. The control messages body is comprised of a prefix, which identifies them, a password, a sending period value and a state to which application should change. After the receiving of the control SMS server verifies the SMS sender through the use of his telephone number and the password. It compares these values with the data stored for the given IMEI on the web server. If the verification succeeds, the server runs a timer with the period known from the control SMS and on the callback of this timer are transferred the data describing current phone location and state via HTTP protocol to the web server. The GSM localization method “Cell ID” is used for the location determination. After the client user asks for the start of loading the data, he must answer the password and the observed phone’s IMEI and he is verified through the use of the web server again. If the verification succeeds, the periodic download of the server data starts and from the first downloaded file is found out the upload period. Download then continues till the time the client detects the end of sending by the server part or till the client user stops the download himself. The client was developed in the C++ language in the C++ Builder environment. It requires a Windows OS and internet connection for its right function. The web server mediates communication between the server and the client, stores the data for user verification and makes possible the server-side upload by the help of a simple PHP script. In all the used web server directories is present the .htaccess file to improve its security, e.g. it denies the directory listing in a web browser.

The year 1989 as a turning point and drugs in society as perceived by an individual

English Summary Graduation thesis: The milestone year 1989 and drugs in the society in the view of an individual. This title covers the elaboration of the drug issue through 1989 in the Czech expert literature, dealing with the period since the advent of socialism up to the present days. The view of an individual, which is very important and crucial for the thesis, attends to the region of Prague, within the set objectives of the research. The work is divided into two main parts: The theoretical part which aims to produce an insight into the general happening first in Czechoslovakia and subsequently in the Czech Republic, using the Czech expert literature dealing with the history of drug problems. Practical part consists of an empirical research that focuses on demonstrating the development direction before 1989 up to these days within the region of Prague in three categories which are closely related, using structured interviews.

The Ecclesiological Opinions of Roger Haight S.J.

Americký jezuita Roger Haight dokončil v roce 2008 třetí svazek svého díla o eklesiologii pod názvem Christian Community in History. V prvních dvou svazcích věnovaných historické a komparativní eklesiologii se Haight snaží najít souvislosti a změny v dějinách společnosti a v dějinách církve. Jeho cílem je zachytit církev v její dějinném kontextu, aby mohl postihnout vliv doby na její specifické uspořádání a podobu. Výsledkem tak je empirický soubor principů napomáhajících k úvahám o církvi v kterékoliv době. Záverečný svazek Haightova díla pak vychází z těchto principů, a s jejich pomocí se snaží popsat transdenominační církev. Ta jde napříč všemi církvemi, je jejich nejhlubším jádrem a vytváří kontinuitu s apoštolskou církví prvního století. Na základě společného jádra pak Haight argumentuje pro částečné společenství církví. Vyzývá církve, aby na základě toho co mají společného mezi sebou potvrdili částečné společenství, protože to co je pojí je mnohem důležitější než to co je rozděluje. Haightův závěrečný díl Christian Community in History je konstruktivní eklesiologií. Spolu s jeho předchozímu publikacemi Jesus Symbol of God a Dynamics of Theology pak představují pokus zůstat věrný apoštolské víře v dialogu s dnešním světem. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The eminent Korean women writers in the second half of the 20th century

Tato bakalářská práce pod názvem: "Významné korejské spisovatelky druhé poloviny 20. století" se zabývá korejskou ženskou prózou 20. století, a to od jejích prvních výrazných představitelek, až po nejvýraznější představitelky dnešní doby. Nemůžeme použít termín "všeobecně známé", a to z důvodů dodnes silně zakotveného korejského patriarchálního systému, díky kterému není například látka týkající se žen-spisovatelek zahrnuta do školních osnov. Na vlastní kůži jsem měla možnost pocítit v korejské společnosti přetrvávající tabu a dodržování nepsaného zákoníku vztahů mezi pohlavími, což ještě umocnilo můj zájem o moderní korejskou ženskou prózu. Autorky Pak Wan-sn, Han Mu-suk, Han Mal-suk, Kang Sin-dža jsou všeobecně uznávané ve světových literárních kruzích a díky překladům jejich děl do angličtiny a jiných jazyků, popřípadě i češtiny, se s jejich dílem měla možnost seznámit široká veřejnost. Cílem mé práce je obeznámit čtenáře s okolnostmi, ve kterých se tyto ženy objevily na literárním poli, se specifiky každé z nich a s přehledem toho nejdůležitějšího, co napsaly. Vzhledem k tomu, že tato generace není v moderní korejské literatuře první, pocítila jsem potřebu zahrnout do práce ženy, které se svými neúnavnými aktivitami zasadily o uchycení pojmu "spisovatelka" na korejské literá~í scéně. The Development of Price Control in Czech Republic from 1989 until Present

The aim of the thesis is an analysis of price control in the Czech Republic from 1989 until present and identification of positive and negative effects of the control on market environment in the examined period. One fifth of the consumer basket which is used to measure inflation by Czech Statistical Office is subject to the price control of usual prices. Therefore, the price control influences wide variety of services and goods and thus, the analysis of this control is still very interesting and up to date. The theoretical part characterizes terms and definitions such as a theory of price control, kinds of control and a theory of price from the theoretical point of view. It also describes fields that are included in a state price control. Another important part describes views of different economical schools on the issue of the state price control and theory of ownership. The practical part deals with the analysis of price control in the Czech Republic in a time span from 1989 until present. The first part analyzes price liberalization which is one of the pillars of transformation of the Czech Republic after 1989. Other part characterizes the remaining period, in which, the most important part is the accession of the Czech Republic to the EU.

Algerian war

This thesis deals with the circumstances leading to the decolonization of Algeria. The aim of the thesis is to analyze French-Algerian relations during the Algerian war, especially to determine the specific features of Algeria and its importance for France. Another aim is the analysis of two opposite groups: the French nationalist organization Secret Army Organization whose objective was maintenance of French Algeria, and National Liberation Front which, in contrary, desired to gain the Algerian independence. The work also deals with the events on the French political scene whose changes considerably influenced following the development of the Algerian question.

Production capacity of selected potato varieties in organic and convention growing

The dissertation investigated on the base of smallparcelled land the production abilities of chosen varieties of potatoes with different lenght of vegetation period in conventional and ecological system. The aim was to evaluate the yield of the tubers, weight of tubers, number of tubers under bunch, number of tubers with a proportion of market value tubers, amount of starch and amount of nitrates on the base of reached results of one years field experiment based on ecological and conventional grown system. The chosen varieties were divided in germinated and non germinated variantions in small parcelled experiment. It was found out that content of nitrates was by both grown technologies under hygienic limit. The lower values were reached in ecological grown system. The determinated starch content of tubers did not prove the differencies between varieties and growing system and it was determinated by 14 %. The conventional technology was better evaluated by yielded elements. Very early variety Magda non germinated showed from chosen varieties enhanced yield of tubers in ecological grown system and it was defined to 87 % of conventional yield for determinated variety. The whole number of tubers in ecological system reached 82 % of conventional technology. Positive influence of germinated seedlings was proved by the yield of consuming tubers. Despite the ecological way of growing was less productive in all evaluated criteria it has very important position in potatoes offer in the market.

František Herites's small-town scenes

V poslední čtvrtině 19. století žili v jihočeských Vodňanech tři tehdy významní spisovatelé. Ve starobylém lékárnickém domě vedle kostela bydlel František Herites, lékárník, purkmistr a autor maloměstských povídek. Opodál, v jiném domě na náměstí, měl notářskou kancelář Heritesův vrstevník a přítel Otakar Mokrý, básník a překladatel polské poezie, dodnes nazývaný "básníkem Jihočeských melodií". Do třetice v domě U Čápů žil několik let spisovatel z této trojice nejslavnější, Julius Zeyer. Příznivé okolnosti dovolily těmto třem různorodým (a přesto si v mnohém podobným) osobnostem potkat se a důvěrněji se poznat. Během krátké doby se vytvořilo v malém venkovském městě uskupení, které vešlo do místních dějin pod názvem "vodňanský literární trojlístek". Tehdy to byli autoři místním obyvatelstvem poměrně oblíbení a čtení, dnes je jejich dílo polozapomenuté. V dějinách literatury je z těchto tří autorů nejznámější dílo Julia Zeyera. Otakar Mokrý a František Herites jsou pouhá jména jihočeských rodáků, která mají pro dnešní dobu význam již jen historický. Dílo Františka Heritese je velmi různorodé a značného rozsahu: souborné vydání veškerých jeho textů by zahrnovalo nejméně dvacet svazků. Pchungmullori and Samullori

Cílem mé práce je představit dva žánry korejské tradiční lidové hudby, pchungmullori a samullori. Pchungmullori je původní uměním farmářů, které spojuje hudbu a tanec. Hraje se výhradně pod otevřeným nebem ve skupině 10 a více hráčů a zároveň tanečníků. Samullori je ve srovnání s pchungmullori novým žánrem, který vychází převážně právě z farmářské hudby. Je převedeno do jevištní podoby, kde ho hraje 4-6 hráčů, kteří sedí na pódiu. V kapitole Pchungmullori nastíním původ a vývoj pchungmullori. Vývoj představím zhruba od poloviny doby vlády dynastie I, přes období japonské okupace a nově vznikající Korejské republiky až do současnosti. Dále v této kapitole uvádím složení skupiny pchungmullori, tzn. že popíšu nástroje užívané ve farmářské hudbě, kostýmy hudebníků a postavy "herců" v ní účinkujících a také základní formace, ve kterých se představení pchungmullori odehrává. V závěru kapitoly představím pchungmullori regionů Honam Udo, Honam Čwado, Jngtong, Jngnam a Uttari. Ta se liší v některých formacích, v počtu částí i ve vystupujících postavách. V další kapitole věnované Samullori se také pokusím představit jeho historii, i když zdaleka není tak dlouhá jako historie pchungmullori. Stress and copying with it

Rozhodnutí věnovat se ve své bakalářské práci fenoménu stresu se zrodilo při četbě knihy Stres a zdraví indického lékaře Vinaye Joshiho v rámci přípravy ke zkoušce z Mentální hygieny. Autorův výklad problematiky optikou činnosti orgánů a tělesných systémů v průběhu původně vysoce adaptivní stresové reakce mě velmi oslovil a od té doby řadím toto téma mezi oblasti svého zájmu. Práce je rozdělena na celkem čtyři části. Část první (Stres) přináší nezbytný úvodní pohled do zvolené problematiky - jak prastarý evolučně zformovaný mechanismus unifikované záchranné reakce v podmínkách současného světa a pod tíhou relativně nedávno vzniklé masy vnitřních a vnějších podnětů pozbývá svou adaptační funkci a naopak může za určitých podmínek představovat pro člověka příčinu vážných problémů včetně zdravotních. Tyto podněty - takzvané stresory - kategorizuje a zevrubně popisuje. Věnuje se klíčovým činitelům míry relativně trvalé odolnosti vůči stresorům v čele s vrozeným typem temperamentu. Poslední oddíl první části se v návaznosti na mé studijní zaměření věnuje vztahům mezi stresem a řízením lidských zdrojů, zejména doložením důležitosti této problematiky pro oblast nakládání s lidskými zdroji a řízení lidí v organizacích a popisem konkrétních opatření pro udržení pracovní zátěže v rozumných mezích.
