Čížková, Veronika ; Bednařík, Petr (advisor) ; Vedral, Jan (referee)
The bachelor thesis "The Czech Counterculture and Its Media Representation in the Period of 1983-1987" analyses the media coverage of that part of culture of the communist regime which was set aside from the propagandized main stream - either systematically by the regime or purposely by its performers. In the first part of the thesis, besides the outlining of the era of normalization and its media, there is a description of this type of culture, both in its illegal way (so called underground culture) and its official way of providing an alternative to the main stream. In the second part, the thesis is focused on following how the media reflected the alternative culture, using the chosen periodicals as an exemplar. The method of the research uses qualitative analysis and the research material consists of periodicals Rudé právo, Tribuna, Mladá fronta, Melodie a Tvorba in the period of the years 1983-1987. The thesis concentrates mainly on music, especially on the special phenomenon, which can be called the "New wave disruption effort." Other concerned issues and revealed facts in this thesis are definite differences about the way of media coverage of alternative culture between the single chosen periodicals, and also the transformation of the way of representation during the studied period.

Nursing care of the child with constitutional dermatitis
OLIŠAROVÁ, Věra
ABSTRACT Constitutional dermatitis is one of the most frequent skin diseases that come into being especially on an allergic basis. Establishing the number of individuals suffering from this disease is immensely difficult, although its growth has become obvious in recent years. Combined with this, the need of sufficient information in relationship with this diagnosis has grown, too. The thesis is aimed at surveying the knowledge of nurses in this field and at establishing the situation in the field of providing information on regime measures. Further, the thesis is aimed at surveying the informedness of parents of children suffering from constitutional dermatitis and verifying whether the measures related to this disease are observed. Altogether, five such work hypotheses were formed. The first hypothesis found out the differences in the knowledge of nurses in dermatological and pediatric surgeries, on the questions of the lifestyle of children suffering from constitutional dermatitis. The second hypothesis found out, whether parents requesting information on the disease, more frequently turn to nurses in the surgeries of pediatricians than to those in dermatological surgeries. The third hypothesis focused on surveying the informedness of parents of children concerning regime measures. The fourth hypothesis focused on surveying the parents{\crq} informedness of associations of patients suffering from this disease. The last, fifth hypothesis dealt with surveying the situation in observing the regime measures related to this disease. The second, third and fourth hypotheses were confirmed within the actual research, while the first and fifth hypotheses were not confirmed. The research was carried out in the Regions of South Bohemia and West Bohemia, in cooperation with the doctors and nurses in dermatological and pediatric surgeries. The quantitative exploration research, using the method of questioning was applied. The technique of data collection was that of an anonymous questionnaire. For the research purposes, two kinds of questionnaires were handed out, a different questionnaire for nurses and a different one for the parents of children suffering from constitutional dermatitis. The research set consisted of about 30 nurses from the above institutions, and 45 parents of children suffering from constitutional dermatitis. The outcomes of the research were summed up in the research part of this thesis and compared with expert literature and my experience. The information obtained from this thesis gave rise to a manual for pediatric nurses that contains basic information related to the questions of constitutional dermatitis. A great contribution of this thesis is the possibility to compare the theoretical knowledge of nurses and its practical use in everyday life and nursing care.

I am trying to summarize life and theological work of Johannes Hempel till 1945. He was interested in special topics of Ethics of ancient Israel and Questions of profetic literature. By my research I was trying to include life and work of Johannes Hempel in his era and teological schools, define his work and compare it with other Old Testament scholars of his era. With reference to political situation of contemporar Germany (NS Regime) I prefer to accent Hempel's political ideas and engagement. At the end of my work I was trying to reflect validity and applicability of Hempel's concepts in relation with the newest research of Old Testament. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Malý, Antonín ; Kliment, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Čekal, Radek (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the problem of the influence of vegetation and artificial flow-off on the hydrological conditions of a small-scale drainage basin. The thesis presents the results of the detailed monitoring of the rainfall-flow process, carried out in two drainage basins compared in the period between 2006 and 2008.The research location is situated in the area of the upper drainage basin of the Šumava river Blanice, one of the sources of the devastating flood of 2002. Despite a limited period of monitoring, significant differences were identified in the hydrological regimes of the two drainage basins. The main differences discovered are related to the period of the winter half-year and the period of low water. In addition to common research procedures, less well-known methods have also been applied. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Analysis of the financing of tertiary education: Why do students have to pay more in the U.S. than in the Czech Republic?
Saidlová, Veronika ; Janíčko, Martin (advisor) ; Brožová, Dagmar (referee)
This thesis analyzes the question why there are differences in concerning the payment of school fees at the tertiary level of education across relatively developer economies. The main surveyed countries are the Czech Republic and the USA, however, in order to find out the answer that could be more generalized a representative sample of OECD countries, EU countries, and OECD and EU candidate countries is used. For finding the significant variables, logit model was used. The model has Essentials demonstrated that the introduction of school fees is to some extent influenced by the presence of an undemocratic regime during last 25 years and also by the number of people with tertiary education in the population.

Communicatoin in Czech TV - show "Banana-Fish" - language and ethnic stereotypes
Žarkovič, Jasmína ; Čmejrková, Světla (advisor) ; Hasil, Jiří (referee)
ln my graduation thesis I tried to show the typical Czech characteristic features on the sample of an unique Czech TV-show "Bananafish". I used the linguistics and nonlinguistics facilities. The Iinguistics facilities concentrate on the communication strategies of the moderator and her guests. The nonlinguistics facilities are interconnected with sociology, psychology and intercultural studies with special regard to the linguistics aspects. The two parts of the analysis cannot be used separately, the resume can take its current shape only if these are applied concurrently. The result ofmy analysis is partly in token of opinions and partly in the stereotypes which I tried to prove on the real situation and also in the show.

Národní parky v ČR a v zahraničí
Vzhledem k různému stáří parků a odlišné minulosti i současnosti obou států předpokládám rozdíly ve způsobu správy a financování národních parků. Zjištěné rozdíly se pokusím vysvětlit pomocí výše zmíněných ekonomických teorií.
