I suggest two buildings, gallery and multifunctional building. For my design solutions was crucial that we find ourselves in a place with very strong traffic and small place. I design primarily the gallery, so I decided to open the block and relieve the gallery building. With the same intention i taper the wall of the main facade to the street fluctuate, thus creating a freer parter. Gallery becomes detached building and operating space around freely. I wanted to reach such an impression that it was a stone house, something quality and stable, so I chose the concrete substructure as well as the exposed material. The construction is monolithic reinforced concrete. The second house is a multifunctional building directly adjacent to the Commercial Bank

Cinklová, Sára ; Obrtlík,, Jan (referee) ; Májek, Jan (advisor) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is a design of the new Brno town hall. This project is based on the architectural study which was carried out within the course AG032 Ateliér architektonické tvorby II and is extended by the building permit documentation and the building implementation documentation. The area of interest is located in the Město-Brno district, between the Benešova and Koliště street. It is an office building with commercial units. It is a seven floor building with two underground floors. Underground floors are primarily used for parking. Part of the first floor is dedicated to rentable commercial units. The rest of the building is used as a municipality. The first two floors are accessible to the public. In the remaining floors are offices with limited public access. Individual departments are separated by floors or defined by the floor plan. The number of offices and their sizes are adjusted to the tectonic plan.
