TITLE: The physical condition of badminton players AUTHOR: Kateřina Hejdrychová DEPARTMENT: Katedra tělesné výchovy PedF UK SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Ladislav Pokorný ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis deals with the composition of fitness training of badminton players. The first part of the thesis theoretically describes the development of individual motor skills and their application and inclusion in the training process of badminton. In the second part, an evaluation of the psychical condition of adolescent and junior national team players and badminton players is performed. The psychical condition was examined using a test battery in cooperation with the Czech Badminton Association. The results of the thesis are annotated results of individual groups of players. Flexibility for football players in the student category U14-U15

Title: Flexibility for football players in the student category U14 - U15 Objective: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to help the questionnaire survey to monitor the use of basic gymnastics with a focus on the development of flexibility in the training of football players in the category of students (U14 - U15). The partial goal is to design a set of recommended exercises that can contribute to the development of flexibility. Methods: The research sample consisted of 6 football clubs (SK Slavia Prague, Bohemians 1905, SK Kladno, FC Košice, Lokomotíva Košice, Janočko Academy). To obtain information from the respondents, the method of qualitative questioning was chosen. We have created a non-standardized questionnaire, which is presented in an authentic form at the end of the bachelor's thesis (see appendices). We contacted the individual teams by phone and contacted the head coaches of the student categories. The selection of the sample was intentional, because we wanted to include the widest possible range in terms of performance and location (Slovakia, Czech Republic). Title: The influence of Colored Mini Volleyball on six-volleyball Objective: The aims of this bachelor's theses is to find out, on the basis of gained information, how mini volleyball coaches approach the training of children at a young school age and how they develop their motoric skills and volleyball skills, and whether this form of volleyball can suitably prepare children for six-volleyball. Methods: Quantitative research with the method of questioning was chosen to meet this goal. The questionnaire was sent to the mini volleyball coaches by e-mail. The information obtained was discussed in the discussion part of the work and a conclusion was made from them. Results: The findings are displayed for better orientation in tables, graphs and are accompanied by commentaries. Analysis of penetration passess of central midfilders in selected Czech teams

Title: Analysis of penetration passes of central midfielders in selected Czech teams Objective: The aim of the thesis is to point out importance of a penetrating pass and its direct relation with a team's match performance. Methods: Analyzed file, which consisted of 16 players was indirectly observed with help of video records from Instat 3.0 software. Mainly penetrating passes of two most used central midfielders from each chosen team were observed. Recorded data were written up to sheets prepared in advance. Compiled data were then used to compare, analyze and evaluate between themselves. Results: We found out that watched players of top four teams had with a few exceptions better numbers than players of bottom four teams. Hrošovský was consistently among the best in each aspect we watched, while Soldát lined up among the worst in each aspect with the only exception being success rate of penetrating passes. Tetour and Hanousek were ranked in top three in success rate of passes which was a surprise given they played for last team of the table. Summary: We found out that even though players of top four teams were achieving better numbers than players of bottom four teams, they weren't as dominant in watched aspects as we thought. Team succes depending on individual performance of the players in each position in the 1st league of men's and women's volleyball

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the direct dependence of the match outcome on the success of players in individual positions, moreover, the thesis also examines whether it is possible for an individual's performance to influence the outcome. This will show which playing positions and their activities are most important for the development and outcome of the match. Furthermore, this work will compare the results of male and female category and explain the difference in these categories. For the practical part, a statistical method has been created, by which the necessary data were gathered during the matches of Dobřichovice women's and men's first league teams. The collected data for each category were then evaluated, the categories were compared with each other and conclusions were drawn. The acquired data from this diploma thesis could subsequently help with creating training units in the training process. By composing this thesis, the author has verified a multitude of information gained through her volleyball practice. Key words: volleyball, player, position, success rate

Fitness training for football and soccer players

The aim of this thesis was to map the differences in physical preparation of futsal and football players. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first one is theoretical and the second one is practical. The theoretical part is focused primarily on the basic and general things that concern both sports. There is mentioned a brief characteristics, rules and also the differences in systematice of both sports. Last, but not least the theoretical part describes sports training, which is divided into components, such as technical or tactical, but greater part is devoted to physical preparation. The practical part consistes of an individual interview with coaches of futsal and football and testing of a selected sample of players using fitness tests, which serve to verify the established hypotheses. The goal was to find out whether the futsal players are better equipped than the football players in terms of fitness or not.
