Negotiations and processes of dividing of the Czechoslovak Federation

Themes of this thesis are negotiations and processes leading to the division of Czechoslovak federation. At the beginning this work describes common history of Czechoslovakia till the year 1989. This part of the thesis is primarily focused on problems and common issues of both nations present in Czechoslovakia. There is also brief analysis of national policy towards other nations. Second part of the beginning is dealing with the political history of Czechoslovakia between November 1989 and June 1992. This part describes in detail the biggest difficulties both nations had to solve. Special attention is paid to the "dash-war", dispute about competence between republics and federation, negotiations about state agreement and constitutions. From the opening analysis results, that till the election in June 1992 was achieving a compromise between both nations difficult but still possible. Next part of this thesis describes its main theme, the negotiations between political elites of ODS and HZDS, rule parties elected in the year 1992. In this detail interpretation of conferences is revealed role of each of the main politicians involved in the process of the partition, starting with problematic role of Václav Havel, who unwillingly but significantly contributed to the division, continuing with uncompromising...

This thesis concerns development of a communication strategy in Eastern Europe, particularly Bulgaria, as a model country, in the area of international tolling, more precisely road user charging system offered by Satellic. In this strategy the promotion mix tools such as advertising, personal selling, PR, public affairs, events and conferences are applied. A concrete target group, the key message, the goal, the message strategy and the budget are created in each of the above noted promotion mix tools.

The Influence of the New Federal States on the German Party System After Unification

The collapse of the communist regime in German Democratic republic caused factual loss of legitimacy of the republic as a whole. The events of 1989 and 1990 have brought the end of separation of both German states. The both parts of Germany were unified on October 3rd, 1990, but internal unity of the new state is 15 years later still far from reality. Two undemocratic regimes, one following another, interrupted traditional affiliations between voters and political parties hardly. New period of the German party system has started. Although the influence of the West German parties on constitution of the democratic East German party system was dominant, there has established unique party system with own specifics. The most measurable diversity of the East German party system is the presence of the Party of Democratic Socialism (PDS). This communist successor party has been successful in fast every elections since German Unification, last time she won over the quarter of East German votes. Thanks to the association with the new West German left party, called Electoral Alternative Work and Social Justice (WASG), the Left party/PDS has won 54 seats in the 16th Bundestag. The Rise of Protest Parties in Southern Europe

This thesis analyzes the rise of populist parties in southern Europe - italian Five Star Movement, greek SYRIZA and spanish Podemos. The aim is to define the key factors, that contributed to the perception of these protest political formations as political alternatives. The thesis chronologically follows development of examined political parties. Further it defines their strategy in terms of levels of protests and programme. Finally it outlines probable transformations of party systems, which is caused by the rise of protest parties.

In February survey Public Opinion Research Centre investigated how people trust to political Parties and whether they are willing to take part in elections to Chamber of Deputies. In the press release there are two different types of information: Party preference and a model of voting behaviour. Party preferences give us information about public sympathy with political Parties in the group of citizens who have voting right and there is also included a part of citizens who will not take part in elections or they do not knot who to vote for. Voting model indicate anticipated result of elections to Chamber of Deputies in the time of the survey. Voting model comes out of Party preferences but it includes only those who want to take part in elections and they answered us a Party they would vote for – in short this group does not include undecided people and non – voters.

The comparison of the accounting and tax field of the Czech Republic and Finland

The thesis is focused on an accounting and a tax field of the selected countries, the Czech Republic and Finland. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the accounting and tax system of the chosen countries and its reciprocal comparison. The present form of the financial accounting in both countries was influenced by their economic and political development and by other elements through many years. These factors and their impact on the accounting field are described and reviewed in the first part of the thesis. The second part is focused on the comparison of the tax field of both states which is related with an accounting. Among others, the characteristics of the tax system influence the behaviour of people (persons, entities) in connection with their international (and domestic) business activities. The most suitable indicator chosen for comparison of the tax burden between the Czech Republic and Finland is the consolidated tax quota. Due to the interaction to the accounting, there was an emphasis on the differences in the structure of corporate income tax in connection with the comparison of the tax systems.
