The Legal Aspects of Mandatory Vaccination and its European Context
Mrklasová, Marta ; Vavrečka, Jan (advisor) ; Grmelová, Nicole (referee)
The diploma thesis regarding The Legal Aspects of Mandatory Vaccination and its European Context was created in order to map the legal regulations of mandatory vaccination in the Czech Republic and to describe the repressions of unvaccinated children in the Czech Republic and in other member states of the European Union. Part of the thesis consists of a jurisprudence research of The Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic, The European Court of Human Rights and The Court of Justice of the European Union related to the field of mandatory vaccination. Special focus is given to the comparison of the number of mandatory vaccinations in the member states of European Union as well as to the comparison of their legislations. The fundamental question reflected in the diploma thesis is the one of the human rights of individuals guaranteed by the European Union, international conventions and national legislations of the states and the possibility for them to be limited in order to protect the public health. In the thesis, there are listed and described the human rights affected by the whole concept of vaccination and also the conditions that have to be fulfilled in order to allow the human rights to be restricted. For this purpose the cases from legal practise serve as a support. In addition, there is a chapter regarding the promotion of newly developed vaccines for voluntary vaccinations, which reveals the marketing tools used for this purpose. For a better understanding of the field of mandatory vaccination, there is included a chapter titled The Insight of Expertise Necessary for the Interpretation and Application of Law. This chapter completes the aspects of mandatory vaccination from the medical point of view, lists the mandatory vaccinations in the Czech Republic and member states of the European Union and the vaccines used for performing the vaccinations. Keywords: human rights, mandatory vaccination, jurisprudence of The European Court of Human Rights and The Court of Justice of the European Union, repressions of unvaccinated children

TV Transmission of Parliaments in Selected Countries: Study 1.153

Acoustic properties of monosyllabic words in semi-spontaneous dialogues and read speech
Ondrušková, Lucie ; Volín, Jan (advisor) ; Machač, Pavel (referee)
This thesis investigates temporal characteristics of monosyllabic words (je, se, že) in semi-spontaneous dialogues and read speech. Our material consisted of two sets of recordings from six speakers (three men and three women). The speakers read a text first, and this reading was followed by a recording of a spontaneous dialogue. We investigated differences of temporal characteristics of monosyllabic words between the two types of speech. In addition, we also examined how these characteristics are affected by different variables, which included: position in a stress group, presence of stress, presence of pause and speaker's personality. It was found that the type of speech had a significant influence on duration ratio of sounds in examined words je, že. Word se remained unaffected by the type of speech and generally appeared as a very stable element. The type of speech also influenced variability in duration - this variability proved to be higher in spontaneous speech. The type of speech did not affect average duration of words je, se, že. Position in the stress group also proved to have a significant effect on duration of words. This effect was mainly caused by words which created isolated stress groups - words in such position had longer duration than words in other positions. For words je, se...

The process of Evenk assimilation on the territory of the Evenk Autonomous Okrug (Central Siberia) from the 1930s until the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the beginnings of national rebirth tendencies (until 2001)
Brzáková, Pavlína ; Vrhel, František (advisor) ; Uherek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pargač, Jan (referee)
In 1990-1991, shortly after the collapse of the Soviet Union, secession tendencies began to emerge in the individual regions and autonomous republics of the Russian Federation. In addition to the economic transformation, which focussed on intensification of mining of mineral deposits, the trend of profiling cultural differences and of greater differentiation from the majority Russian population came to the forefront. The National rebirth, as the phenomenon is often labelled, demonstrated itself especially in the construction of new museums, the activities of collectors and in the establishment of various folk ensembles and organisations. As I have been studying the culture of Siberian ethnicities for a long time, especially the nomadic Evenks living by the tributaries of the Yenisei River, I was able to observe the progress of the changes in the Evenk Autonomous Okrug and I was constantly confronted with the question of whether a real return to the roots is possible. The subject has brought me to the very beginning of the assimilation process that began in the 1930s; it interfered with the tribal structure of the Evenks and has not only led to forced russification, but also to an almost instantaneous shift from the nomadic to the settled way of life. I have attempted to reconstruct the process using the...

Šárka phase on the upper Morava river

Work with children of migrants in Berkat civil society Organization
Hozáková, Hana ; Vorlová, Marie (advisor) ; Hubertová, Lucie (referee)
This bachelor's thesis is based upon the synthesis of my own findings and experience with working with the children of migrants. It results from my three-year involvement in Berkat Civil Society Organization activities. In the first part of my thesis I focus on introduction of the issues related to migrants in the Czech Republic. I address particularly the integrative process and the institutions that play important role in inclusion of foreigners into society. In subsequent chapters I investigate primarily the lives of children of migrants in schools and families as well as their mental troubles I encounter during my work with them. I also introduce a specific example of the work with children through detailed description of one of the trips with children outside of Prague. By using various examples I present particular specific dissimilarities of children of migrants from other children. In the final conclusion I introduce several suggestions for changes that would, according to my opinion, enable improvement of the programs of Berkat Civil Society Organization. Prague Dependency Treebank as a Czech grammar practice book Prague Dependency Treebank as an exercise book of Czech
Kučera, Ondřej
Prague Dependency Treebank (PDT) is one of the top language corpora in the world. The aim of this work is to introduce a software system that builds an exercise book of Czech using the data of PDT. Two kinds of exercises are provided: morphology (selecting correct parts of speech and their morphological cathegories) and sentence parsing (selecting analytical functions and dependencies between them). The PDT data cannot be used directly though, because of the differences between the academic approach in sentence parsing and the approach that is used in schools. Some of the sentences have to be discarded completely, several transformations have to be applied to the others in order to convert the original representation to the form to which the students are used to from school.
