Projekt NOVÉ NA STARÉ řeší nároží dvou brněnských ulic Bratislavská a stará. Podle zadání by zde měl být navržen polyfunkční dům s 60 procenty bytových ploch a 40 procenty ostatních funkcí. V mém případě jde pouze o bytovou a komerční funkci. Dům obsahuje dvě podlaží garáží, dvě podlaží obchodního parteru a až nad nimi formou menších soliterních budov vystupuje funkce bydlení. Hmoty stavby se vzájemně propisují, z vyčnívající hmoty na zapuštěnou pasáž až po samostatně stojící dům na severní hranici. Celá stavba je do jisté míry parafrází konceptu jin-jang. NEW FOR OLD project addresses the corner of two streets of Brno and Bratislava old. According to the assignment, there should be designed multi-functional building with 60 percent of the residential areas and 40 percent of other functions. In my case, it is only in residential and commercial functions. The house has two floors garage, two floors of commercial stalls and up above them in the form of small solitary building performs the function of housing. Materials of construction are mutually traced from protruding mass at the flush passage to a detached house on the northern border. The whole building is to some extent a paraphrase of the concept of yin-yang.
