Title Fish and fish-like vertebrates in education system of primary and high schools. Abstract Based on analysis of schoolbooks for primary and secondary schools (11 analysed schoolbooks) and for grammar schools and high schools (5 analysed schoolbooks) I compile frequency (percent occurrence) of fish and fish-like vertebrates nomenclature in my diploma thesis. On this base I prepared the table unifying Czech and scientific nomenclature of all analysed schoolbooks. Whereupon this unifying I created the recommended list of presently valid Czech and scientific terms of fish and fish-like vertebrates for primary and high schools. Furthermore, based on schoolbooks analyses, I compile didactic availability of particular chapters dedicated to fish and fish- like vertebrates. Using of didactic test I surveyed the student`s knowledge at the grammar school. To extend the subject matter of fish and fish-like vertebrates I created teaching presentation "Man and Fish" for basic schools and high schools. I prepared excursions proposal for students where I described in a detail where to go to see main representatives of fish and fish-like vertebrates all around the Czech Republic.

Surfaces of Building Practice
Surynková, Petra ; Voráčová, Šárka (referee) ; Šarounová, Alena (advisor)
My diploma thesis Surfaces of Building Practice deals with the basic properties of surfaces, their mathematical description, categorization, and application in technical practice. Each studied surface is defined and its process of construction and parametrical description is listed. The thesis studies selected types of surfaces in details - these surfaces include surfaces of revolution, ruled surfaces, screw surfaces, and translational surfaces. An application of each studied surfaces is shown and each surface is accompanied with a picture. The thesis also contains a picture attachment with photographs of buildings from all over the world on that the studied surfaces visibly appear. The diploma thesis has an attached DVD that contains studied surfaces as models created in the Maple program, presentation with animations showing creation of selected surfaces, and the diploma thesis in the electronic format. Plant Movement

Plánování a management nástupnictví v mezinárodních organizacích - případová studie UniCredit Group
Harutyunyan, Zaruhi ; Pauknerová, Daniela (advisor) ; Králová, Tereza (referee)
This thesis analyses Succession Planning and Management practices in international organizations, and specifically in UniCredit Group, with the goal of developing recommendations for improvement of UniCredit Group's existing practice. The theoretical part provides background knowledge about generics of succession planning and management, its evolution and connection with other Human Resource processes. It is followed by highlights of acclaimed best practices in mitigating risks in implementing succession planning and management systems. The latter acts as a beginning of the practical background of the thesis, as the empirical study aims at discovering strengths and weaknesses of the UniCredit Group in comparison with the theoretical models and the best practices presentation. Based on the latter, qualitative research has been conducted in cooperation with UniCredit Group's Central and Eastern Europe Sub-holding level HR Business Partners and Specialists. The hypothesis that UniCredit Group has a well-established succession planning and management system (up to the most possible comparison with theoretical models and best practices) has been confirmed. The analysis and synthesis of the results from both the theoretical and empirical part are the basis, on which recommendations have been developed.

Monitorování serverů zapojených do výpočetního GRIDu
Burdík, Michal ; Peterka, Jiří (referee) ; Chudoba, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis researches available software products for monitoring of computational farms. The Golias computational farm in the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic served as a testbase. The main contribution of this work was a speci c recon guration of the existing monitoring system Nagios and the installation of a monitoring tool Ganglia. Reusable extension components were developed because of inadequacies in existing monitoring products, especially in the area of presentation and data analysis. Based on the data prepared using the extension components an analysis of the performance of Golias farm's computational nodes has been undertaken, which now serves as a baseline for decisions regarding further development and optimization of the farm.
