Analysis of Iron-Phosphorus Reaction Products Formation During Heat Treatment Processes
Skoumalová, Zuzana ; Jan, Vít (referee) ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor)
During high pressure pulsation tests repeated cracks of CP3. housings occur. High pressure pump CP3 is part of injection system Common Rail. Cracks can be caused by segregation of phosphorous from a washing medium on grain boundaries during subsequent heat treatment process. The present master´s thesis focuses on analysis of phosphorous compounds on specimen surface made from steel 20MnCr5, which were soaked in solutions with different concentration of phosphorous. Master’s thesis is also focused on potencial influence of phosphorous on structure and properties of this material. The first part of the thesis provides a summary of current knowledge in the studied field, experimental results can be found in the second part. The surface analysis XPS, the light microscopy, the scanning electron microscopy equipped by energy dispersive chemical analysis, the glow discharge optical emission spectroscopy, the methods of the phase analysis by means of the X-ray diffraction and impact test were used.

Rheological properties of gels for Pechini syntheses
Wirthová, Michaela ; Ptáček, Petr (referee) ; Zmrzlý, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with preparation of layers of ceramic materials – perovskites. The introductory part includes general characteristics concerning structure, properties and use of this materials. In details then there is described method of their preparation, namely Pechini´s syntheses, which are most widely used. Optimum molar ratio of components is discussed, in the sense of what compositions lead to creation of perovskite structures. Influence of this parameter on rheological properties of precursory gels is described in the end of the first part of work. In experimental section there are described preparations of gels, which are prepared via reaction between citric acid and ethylene glycol and gels, which are prepared by Pechini´s synthesis. Rheological properties of prepared gels (density, viscosity and surface tension) and besides determination of amount of nitrates in gels are characterized. Temperature dependence of viscosity of gels, that are prepared by reaction of citric acid and ethylene glycol are determined. In final part successful preparations of perovskite layers is shown on ceramic substrate. This layers are observed by means of light optical microscope and scanning electron microscope.

Correction of phase image background in the digital holographic microscope using convolution
Rudolfová, Zdena ; Malina, Radomír (referee) ; Uhlířová, Hana (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concentrates on a correction of background in the phase image of cells from a transmitted-light digital holographic microscope (TDHM). Optical aberrations in the optical systems of the object and reference arms cause "deformation" of the phase image. The cell is not displayed on a background with a constant value of phase, it is displayed on a background with phase values continuously changing between different places in the image. A method for removing the consequence of this imperfection from the image is described in this thesis. The principle lies in partial convolution of the phase image with a convolution kernel determined by a two-dimensional Gaussian function with the same variance in the both axes. To eliminate loss of information about the cells, the convolution is computed only from those parts of the phase image which contain no cells. The result of the convolution is considered to be an approximation of the background. This approximation is then subtracted from the phase image. The resulting phase image has a constant background, containing only noise. The necessary mathematical concepts are resumed in the introductory part of the thesis. The basic principle of the TDHM image reconstruction is also described. As a part of the thesis, a computer programme Odečet pozadí (Background subtraction) was created, which processes the phase images from the TDHM using this method.

The specifics of personal selling techniques in retail banking
Sittová, Alexandra ; Říha, David (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to look into the specifics of personal selling techniques in retail banking and to support theoretical backround with a survey of customer satisfaction with personal banking advisory services in a selected retail bank. The paper starts with an overview of theoretical background of marketing and personal selling techniques and its use in retail banking. The theoretical part of the thesis then covers practical approaches to marketing research. The practical part of the thesis then aims to look into implementation of theoretical concepts into practice in a selected banking institution. The results of the customer satisfaction survey are also analyzed in this part of the thesis in order to shed some light on the connection between theory and practice. The results of the survey are then interpreted and a number of suggestions is made on the back of the analysis of responses.

The present position of Quebec: is the independence possible?
Doležalová, Dominika ; Dvořáková, Vladimíra (advisor) ; Bobková, Eva (referee)
The objective of this thesis lies in analyzing the contemporary political situation in Quebec, in the light of the possibility of the Quebec secession from Canada. In the thesis four research questions were specified. The main question will assess what are the actual solutions to the current status of Quebec. This question is connected with three sub-questions. Will be held a referendum on Quebec independence? Does the eventual referendum have a chance of successful result? The last question is looking for an answer whether the territorial autonomy strengthens the integrity of Canada or rather strengthens the nationalist movements. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of the cardinal expressions and definitions of multi-ethnic coexistence issues, ethnic conflict and its solutions. The second chapter describes the transformation of the constitutional status of Canada and Quebec within Canada. The final part analyzes the nationalist movements, the success of Quebec political parties and the position of the separatist Quebec Party.

Legal regulation of the renewable energy resources
Krupičková, Andrea ; Žákovská, Karolina (advisor) ; Damohorský, Milan (referee)
With the adoption of the Act on Promotion of Use of Renewable Energy Resources in 2005, the Czech Republic took a significant step forward to examine the economic field of energy in general in light of environmental and climate protection. With this act, the Czech Republic followed the example of other European Union member states in asserting the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and seeking alternative energy resources in the spirit of the Kyoto Protocol obligations. The goal of this Master's thesis is to present and logically analyze the relevant legal legislation concerning renewable resources passed in the Czech law. The emphasis of this analysis of the Act No. 180/2005 Sb. on the Promotion of the Use of Renewable Energy Resources in the context of energy law, whereby the attention is placed on promotion of energy production, those in the Czech Republic represent two alternative schemes: "feed-in tariff" and "green bonus certificates." With the broad definition of renewable energy resources in the introduction, this thesis comprises a basic overview of this comprehensive legal problem. This thesis consists of five separate chapters, which are closely related.

Abuse of Public Law in Judicial Decisions
Vinčálková, Lucie ; Kühn, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Beran, Karel (referee)
Abuse of Public Law in Judicial Decisions This thesis discusses the relevance and meaning of the principle of "abuse of law" in Czech public law, and consists of six chapters. A brief opening chapter sets out the aim of the thesis, namely to provide a theoretical analysis of the concept of abuse of law, using conclusions that are established in Czech jurisprudence. The second chapter deals with the substantial rulings of the Czech Supreme Court viewing the abuse of law concept in terms of civil law, because the abuse of law principle came to light firstly in Czech civil law. The prospective enactment of the abuse of law principle in the Czech Civil Code Bill is also mentioned. The third chapter is crucial to this thesis, and reflects the approach of the Czech Supreme Administrative Court (the SAC) to the doctrine of abuse of law. The first Czech ruling in which the concept of the abuse of tax law occurred was Divers, no. 1 Afs 107/2004 - 48. In Divers, the SAC construed a very in-depth argument supporting the applicability of the abuse of law principle to the field of taxation (which is part of public law). Then the process during which the SAC developed the abuse of law concept in its rulings, including the first application of the Halifax two-stage abuse test is described. The parallel concepts...
