The old and the new building of Moravian library: conditions for collection preservation

Tématem bakalářské práce je ochrana knihovního fondu v původní a současné budově Moravské zemské knihovny v Brně. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V první se pojednává o podmínkách preventivní ochrany knihovního fondu v původní knihovně. Druhá část se více specializuje na architektonické řešení současné budovy spojené s ochranou sbírek v ní. Každá část začíná parametry, které jsou všeobecně stanovené pro ochranu knihovních fondů a budov knihoven. Poté jsou popisovány podmínky v jednotlivých knihovnách. Závěry obou částí ústí v osobní analýzu a podání návrhů na možná nová řešení.

The Impact of Neuro-rehabilitation on the Cerebro-Spinal Multiple Sclerosis Patients Movement Deficit (intention tremor) Lesions

Název práce: Vliv neurorehabilitace na poruchy související s hybným deficitem (intenční tremor) klientů s roztroušenou sklerózou mozkomíšní. The impact of neuro-rehabilitation on the cerebro-spinal multiple sclerosis patients movement deficit (intention tremor) lesions. Cíl práce: Cílem této studie je zjistit, zda a jakým způsobem neurorehabilitace (terapie na neurofyziologickém podkladě) ovlivňuje hybný deficit klientů (intenční tremor) s roztroušenou mozkomíšní sklerózou, dále i ovlivnění ostatních příznaků spojených s nemocí jako jsou (svalová síla, poruchy rovnováhy, spasticita, koordinace pohybu, kvalita pohybu a jeho uvědomění si, zlepšení posturálních reakcí atd.). Metoda: Sledování bylo provedeno formou kasuistické studie 7 osob, zařazených do dvouměsíční terapie s prvky na neurofyziologickém podkladě. Jednalo se o individuální hodinovou terapii, která probíhala 2 x týdně. Zúčastněné osoby se na počátku výzkumu podrobily neurologickému vyšetření, poté byly klienti vyšetřeni jiným fyzioterapeutem 2x v době, kdy ještě neprobíhala terapie, po dvouměsíční terapii bylo provedeno závěrečné vyšetření fyzioterapeutem. Výsledky: Terapií na neurofyziologickém podkladě je možné pozitivně ovlivnit hybný deficit (intenční tremor) a ostatní příznaky spojené s onemocněním roztroušené sklerózy mozkomíšní....

Lattice based cryptography

The aim of this work is several faces of lattices in cryptography. After the section in which we describe lattices in general and lattice problems, we turn to the lattice based cryptosystems. We describe their mathematical background and also formulations of encryption and decryption algorithms. In the next part we describe the usage of lattice in cryptanalysis. It is mainly attacks against knapsack system a solving hidden number problem. The signi cant part of this work is to compare two cryptosytems RSA a NTRU for the similar level of security. We compare the speed of encryption, decryption and key generation.

History of CČSH in Kolín between 1920 and 1938

This diploma work aspires to realize life of Kolín's congregation in the present Czechoslovak Hussite Church at beginning of their existence. This work struggles to take down all important moments of congregation, from first ideas to establish a congregation of new Church at Kolín to year 1938. It pursues to period which was before establish of national Church and describes a reason of their establishment and their short characterization at first chapters. After that it depict concrete situation which influence establish of local congregation at Kolín. Also it describes management, particularly stable priests at defined time period and catechists with auxiliary teachers of religion, which the Kolín's congregation required a lot. At next chapters it deal with two sacral buildings which Kolín's congregation had to disposal: at first a temporary lend st. Jan Křtitel church and after that own Master Jan Hus charge. In the end it follows life of congregation in their everyday activities. It notes a initial enthusiasm and great activity of congregation, different kind of celebrations, cultures activities, mainly discourses and performances, however also marginal troubles, disappointments, rifts and oppressive financial situation related with costs to construct own charge.

Designing mass modification of client contact records and theirs consolidation within financial institution

This master thesis deals with management request towards informatics department within front company that provides wide range of financial services. Demand refers to client contact data, particularly correspondence addresses and calls for possibility to mass change such records. There are several relatively separated tasks which need to be discussed in order to fulfill the request. First part introduces the company and analyze current situation. Then continue by describing correspondence addresses issue and supports with reasons for the inevitable change. Company's information system architecture is outlined with emphasis on central database that is being formed. This part also further describes options how data can be stored. Middle part contains reason--based choice where correspondence records should be maintained in company's data architecture. Implementation plan with chosen storage pattern is formed here and connected changes in system are highlighted. As a last processes connected to correspondence addresses mass modification are described and drawn with selected notation. After that user graphic interface is designed as a place where the self request will be served.

Proposal for the organizational structure of Kartex a.s. after the merger project with Slim Rope s.r.o. Analysis of opportunities and risks of the merger and the potential economic effects from organizational changes

In my bachelor thesis I dealt with the ongoing merger of Kartex a.s. and Slim Rope s.r.o. (names are changed due to the wishes of management). In the theoretical part, I outlined the theoretical aspects related to the topic of mergers and acquisitions. In the practical part I will then be dealing with every posibility where synergy could be found, risks that can araise during the merger i.e., there are particular unconnected corporate cultures, and there must be working two, till now, competiting brands side by side, and also design a new corporate culture. The goal of my work was to capture the essence of the problems emerging in the process of "post merger integration (integration of business), because in these moments failures occure in 80% of all business combinations.

Problems of information search on the Internet

This thesis adverts to the inadequacies and impediments which can be met by an ordinary user of the internet when searching for information. The process of searching itself represents an interaction between the request given by a user and the result displayed by a search engine. The result might be in a form of URL address of a concrete web page, picture, product, location etc. Some of the problems, which are described in detail in the thesis, are for example relevance and freshness of the search result, separation of global and local result, spam in the results or problems connected to the searching in the online maps. There is an emphasis on the local market, respectively on the Czech user, in the thesis. Furthermore, it focuses on the freshness of all data and on a practical sample in a picture form. The important data and statistics are recorded in the well-arranged tables and graphs. Among others, many interesting information and observations can be found in the thesis. These information and observations are marked with the blue arrow (->).

The supplementary pension savings scheme in the Czech Republic: Microeconomic evidence of the 2013 policy change

The thesis investigates determinants of participation in the supplementary pension savings scheme in the Czech Republic and estimates their change with respect to the policy intervention realized in 2013. Using the time series of cross-sectional microeconomic data provided by the Statistics on Income and Living Conditions, the probability of participation and the level of contributions are estimated separately by probit and multiple linear regressions, respectively. The estimated coefficients of both models are tested for structural differences caused by the policy change, employing the pooled dataset of multiple years with additional coefficients to treat the compared period. The analysis confirms that income, age, education and economic activity have a positive effect on both the probability of participation and expected level of contributions. Whereas gender differences for the level of contributions have not been detected, single women on average show, ceteris paribus, 4.6 percentage points higher probability of participation than single men. Unexpectedly high level of activity was observed in case of retired individuals, who in 2014 represented approximately 15% of all participants and collected 20% of the credited direct state subsidy. Price and terms of payment in the contract of sale

Due to important differences and risks in international trade, firms pay due attention to the legal background of their contractual relationships. To do this, they use a variety of contracts, the most important of which is the contract of sale. In this paper I will analyse two requisites of a contract of sale: the price and the terms of payment. The first part of the paper deals with the examination of the regulation of these requisites in the law of five selected countries and in the international law (the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods). In the second part I will compare two concrete contracts of sale and assess their quality. The last part is then devoted to the definition of the main problems of the examined regulation and to the search of their possible solutions.

Kontingenční tabulky a jejich využití ve výzkumu

Diplomová práce se zabývá kontingenčními tabulkami a jejich využitím v sociologických a marketingových výzkumech. Nejprve je stručně zmíněna historie a současnost těchto výzkumů. Poté jsou představeny typy proměnných. Dále jsou popsány problémy spojené s kategorizací dat a následně je pozornost věnována prezentaci a analýze kategoriálních dat. Jsou zmíněny nejčastěji používané testy nezávislosti a míry závislosti. S pomocí čtyřpolní tabulky jsou ukázány různé přístupy k statistické indukci - je porovnán bayesovský a klasický způsob uvažovaní. Jedna z kapitol je věnována korespondenční analýze. Aplikační část diplomové práce tvoří sociologická analýza pracovní orientace občanů USA. Data byla získána při General Social Survey 2006. Jsou zkoumány faktory ovlivňující motivaci k práci. Studie má dvě hlavní témata. Udržení osvědčených zaměstnanců ve firmě a závislost ročního příjmu na dosaženém stupni vzdělání.
