Sophisticated Stopwatch for Measuring Times in Competitions

In this bachelor thesis I will deal with the design of a mobile application for organizing competitions. The main goal of the application is to simplify the organization of contestants, their division into individual categories and time measurement. The app is created for the Android operating system. I will introduce the basic Android components and Android Studio development environment. In detail, I will devote myself to application design and individual functions.
Choreography analysis in sports aerobics

TITLE: The Analysis of Choreographies in Sports Aerobics AUTHOR: Klára Handrejchová DEPARTMENT: Faculty of Physical Education and Sport SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Jana Hájková ABSTRACT: The main aim of the bachelor's thesis is to compare the variability and difficulty of elements in sports aerobics in 2022. In addition, the analysis focuses on the comparison of the choreographies of the finalists in the first and second levels of individual women category sports aerobics of juniors and adults in terms of technical index level and variety of difficulty elements. The working methods used are the observation of video recordings and the analysis of pre-selected choreographies. Furthermore, the analysis of the performance is carried out on the basis of predetermined evaluation criteria. Last but not least, at the end of the dissertation, research questions that demonstrate the differences in technical preparation between the first level in the junior and adult category and the second level in the junior and adult category are examined. Pre-season training analysis of cross-country and maraton mountain bike racers

Cílem této bakalářské práce byla kompletní analýza všech tréninkových procesů během předsezónní přípravy v celém přípravném období cyklistů a následně analýza závodních výsledků v cyklistické sezóně 2019/2020 u závodníků v kategorii junioři, juniorky a muži do 23 let. Hlavním cílem bylo zjištění, který trénink je nejefektivnější pro danou disciplínu cross country a maraton v těchto závodních kategoriích. Zkoumaný soubor tvořilo 6 lidí z Bike klubu Vimperk (závodního týmu Rouvy Specialized Racing). Součástí práce je také historické i novodobé pojetí těchto disciplín, ale i horského kola samotného a také studium odborné literatury a dalších odborných materiálů. Dále následovala syntéza, kdy po vyhodnocení zpracovaného materiálu a dat je výsledkem prohloubení poznatků o tréninku na horských kolech v těchto obou disciplínách a zároveň vytvoření a doporučení ideálního tréninku pro závodníky těchto věkových kategorií.
Metodic book for preparing the Orienteering for teachers on university of sports.

The bachelor thesis entitled "Factors influencing the successful completion of orienteering at sport schools" deals with the origin and development of orienteering in the theoretical part. Furthermore, it deals with basic rules and describes specific map for orienteering which includes special mapping key that is needed to know and understand. It also describes how the participant should be properly dressed and equipped. In the practical part is specified participation in orienteering and obtaining of specific results which are then analysed and compared whether the established hypotheses are confirmed or not. There are also attached examples of race tracks in annex which students attended and control points that had to find. This thesis evaluates primarily the factor which is the correct work with the map and orientation in the terrain according to the map.
The history of horseracing in the Czech lands

The graduationthesis deals with the history and development of racing in the Czech lands, especially since 1839, when the Racing Association was founded. To understand the context, the history of racing in the world from its beginnings to the present is also included. The author draws on available literature, periodicals andarchives. He source also from interviews with witnesses and people who are or have been involved in events related to horse racing sport in our country. The aim of this work is to bring the origin and development of racing sport closer to the reader in connection with the historical events of Czech history. The text part is complemented by a number of related photographic enclosures with captions.
Analysis of material equipment of elite MTBO competitors

Title: Analysis of material equipment of elite MTBO competitors Objectives: The aim of this work is to analyse the material equipment of elite MTBO competitors. That means mainly mountain bikes and their components. The bachelor thesis describes which material equipment the elite MTBO competitors use and if there are any differences among them. Methods: The questionnaire method was used to obtain data regarding the research objective. The analysis was applied in the description of individual types of bikes and their components, which elite MTBO racers use. Results: The analysis identified the key components of the bikes used by elite MTBO racers. These are a carbon frame, hydraulic brakes and 29 inch wheel sizes that are used by almost all elite MTBO racers. Half of the competitors use full suspension bikes and half use hard-tail bikes with a suspension fork. Differences are in the less important components of the bike, which adapt to personal preferences. Conclusion: The analysis of the results showed the use of the same important components of the bike, but they highlighted personal preferences in less important parts. Nevertheless, the preference of the middle options is clear. Even if these options are represented as advantages and disadvantages. Keywords: MTBO, mountain bike, equipment, competition
The TempO race organization methodology for beginners

Title: The TempO race organization methodology for beginners Objectives: The main goal of this work is to create a methodological manual for organizing the TempO race for beginners based on monitoring the work of organizers during the preparation and during the orientation race TempO Pod Parapletem. Another goal is to evaluate the feedback from the participants submitting suggestions for improvement based on the evaluation of the results of the questionnaire survey. Methods: The method of observation and the method of questioning were used in the thesis. The observation method was used to monitor the organizers in the preparation and implementation of the TempO Pod Parapletem race. Respondents' opinions on the organization and course of this race were obtained using the method of questioning. The individual steps of preparations and the implementation procedure were evaluated on the basis of the respondents' feedback. Results: The result of the organizers' observations was the compilation of a general procedure of partial organizational steps in the preparation of the TempO orienteering race. The results of the questionnaire pointed out shortcomings in the event and recommendations were made on their basis to improve the organization for potential organizers of events of a similar type....
Analysis of techniques in wild water kayaking during competitions in wild water slalom

Title: Analysis of techniques in wild water kayaking during competitions in wild water slalom Objectives: 1. To analyze race runs of the best world kayakers in top competitions in wild water slalom in frequency of use of individual types of strokes and technics of passing through upstream and downstream gates 2. Determine the percentage of using forwards and driving strokes in competition runs of best world kayakers Methods: Observationally descriptive study based on organized, non-behavioral observation of a targeted sample of the population of athletes, specifically a group of top kayakers. Sequence video analysis in the Darthfish computer program, based on the recording of predefined technical elements that appear in the competition runs of the best world kayakers. The observation was done by one professional expert by intra-observating method. The data was processed in the Microsoft Excel computer program using basic statistics. The individual outputs were described in details. Effecting exercise regimen of children at younger school age

Title: EFFECTING EXERCISE REGIMEN OF CHILDREN AT YOUNGER SCHOOL AGE An alternative form of triathlon contest as a possibility to build a positive relationship to physical activity in children Objectives: To compare motion and diet patterns and basic parameters of body constitution in selected children divided into two groups: a random population and a population of children devoted to a specific physical activity - triathlon. The aim was to focus on contests organization and management, identify its weak points and suggest a suitable alternative with the ambition to bring children closer to any of disciplines triathlon is consisting of or to triathlon itself in a longtime fashion. Methods: Body height and weight measurements, BMI calculations. Questionnaire survey. Arrangement of a triathlon contest in its new alternative way. Evaluation. Results: A group of children actively doing triathlon shows more balanced distribution of body weight in comparison with data obtained when measuring random children during PE lessons at schools where cases of obesity and underweight were found. Triathlon contest model based on adult category is not convenient for children at younger school age considering their development characteristics.
