Pacáková, Alena ; Obleser, Petr (advisor) ; Husinec, Václav (referee)
This elaboration focus on bioacoustics interactions between a deer/roubucke(Capreolus capreolus) living in our territory, which is highly hunted and a jay bird (Garrulus glandarius), which has abilities according to ingrained experiences and traditional folk superstitions hetero-specifically to warn against predators. On territory of the Czech republic is a deer/roubucke one of the most widespread artiodactyl and a jay bird is one the most common birds. The acoustic communication between those two species plays a big role, but her research was paid only slight attention. This elaboration focus on recognition is abilities of deer on warning signals received from jay bird. There was 39 records received, how roe deer reacts on jas is bird signals. All recording took place in area of Radotin in Prague. By using the sound system, there were playing control signals of magpie bird follow up with warning signals of jay bird. There were evaluated aspects like sex, bonnet, distance, size of the bunch and of curse their influences on timing of hunting season. The outcomes helped us to closely understand of life of roe deer and their behavior when they recognize warning signals. The analysis provided us information that roe deer respond the same way to warning signals from jay birds as well as control signals from magpie birds. Based on further outcomes of the elaboration, it is important to mention unsubstantiated correlations of received signals between sex and age of roe deer. We assume that behavioral symptoms to warning signals are closely related to experiences of given individual roe deer.

Iskanderova, Tatiana ; Buriánek, Jiří (advisor) ; Duffková, Jana (referee) ; Havlík, Radomír (referee)
The main issue of our dissertation paper is perception of TV moderator's image by the young audience. The problematic is relatively new and under-researched. However, it could be mistaken to state, that earlier researchers did not perform the problematic of TV presentation. This topic has being researched by such scientists as: Alexej Leontjev, Svetla Cmejrková , Victor Meca etc. However, the above mentioned problematic has been researched from the viewpoint of TV presentation's structure and content, but not from the point of audience perception. By means of qualitative (qualitative content analyses of popular Czech and Kyrgyz TV - moderators Jan Kraus, Halina Pawlowká, Marek Eben, Libor Boucek, Andrej Malachov , Lolita Miljavskaja, Vladimír Molcanov etc.) representations and quantitative analyses (questionnaire survey with participation of 428 respondents) performed in Czech Republic and Kyrgyzstan, we demonstrate how the perception of the TV moderator image can be influenced by gender factor, professional and cultural backgrounds of audience. Moreover, by means of our analyses we have found out (identified) that besides the formal (visual) aspects of TV presentation (verbal and nonverbal behaviour), the significant role in the process of formation of young audience's opinion about the talk show moderator...

Special attention is paid to corporate social responsibility and protection of the environment, which begin to play an important role in consumer behavior. The differences between nations are examined through the questionnaire survey, which was filled out by 155 respondents. For a deeper understanding and identification of individual motifs, consumers were conducted semi-structured interviews that focused on environmental problems and corporate social responsibility. Hong Kong and the Czech Republic have different level of individualism and uncertainty avoidance, except these two cultural dissimilarities, there were no significant differences between these two nations. Environmental protection plays a larger role in the consumer behavior of Generation Y than corporate social responsibility for both nations. Corporate social responsibility is more important for young women than for young men.

Catering persons with hypercholesterolemia
CHARYPAROVÁ, Ludmila
My bachelor thesis is called ,,Food for people with hypercholesterolemia", and it focuses on cholesterol intake and its impact on the human body. The main aim of this thesis was to map the diet of people with hypercholesterolemia regarding both, quality and quantity of meals. The first part of this thesis is theoretical. It focuses on the description of basic nutritional components, on the issue of fat and cholesterol in the diet, on the characteristics of hypercholesterolemia disease, its classification, causes of development of this disease, treatment options and prognosis. The risk factors which lead to the hypercholesterolemia disease development, dietary restrictions, and some examples of low cholesterol and low fat diet menus are also mentioned in the first part of thesis. The practical part of this thesis was done as a qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research was conducted using the snowball method from February to March. Selected respondents recorded their diet for the period of one week. The diet was recorded in the record sheets which I evaluated after they were filled in and returned back to me. I entered all of the foods mentioned in the diet record sheets into the program ,,Nutriservis Prefesional", which helped me to calculate average intake of energy, fats, cholesterol, proteins and carbohydrates during the reference period. I also submitted questionnaire to examine eating habits, diseases and physical parameters of my respondents. The questionnaire was focused mainly on the frequency and quantity of food with high cholesterol. Then I determined the ideal weight according to BMI index for every respondent and from the ideal weight I calculated the ideal intake of calories, fats, proteins and carbohydrates per day. I compared ideal values of energy, macronutrients and cholesterol of each respondent with average values recorded during the research. The research revealed that most respondents have a diet with larger quantities of cholesterol than the recommended daily dose i.e. 300 mg of cholesterol per day.

Diet of patients with ulcerative colitis
KOŘÍNKOVÁ, Lucie
This bachelor thesis deals with ulcerative colitis as well as with the impact of such a disease on patient's diet. The aim of this thesis is to describe the composition of the diet of patients with ulcerative colitis. The following research questions are defined: "How do the patients follow the principles of a proper diet in this disease?", "What foods do the patients tend to avoid most often?" and "What is the experience of selected patients with a nutritional therapist?" At first, this bachelor thesis summarizes theoretical knowledge of the current status, incidence, diagnostics, causes and the course of the disease. Other chapters deal with symptoms of ulcerative colitis which is not just a matter of the digestive tract. This is followed by the extraintestinal complications that are related to the disease. The nutritional status of patients is also mentioned here. Last but not least, this work describes the diet plan of patients. To achieve the goal of this thesis, quantitative and qualitative researches are selected. The quantitative research is conducted using questionnaires which were distributed to patients of the Clinical Centre ISCARE I.V.F a.s., that is under the leadership of a head of the department, Prof. MUDr. Milan Lukáš, CSc. The survey results are presented in the form of graphs. The qualitative research is carried out through the recording sheet to which the selected respondents wrote down their two-week diet. This diet was subsequently evaluated in the program Nutriservis. The results were compared with the recommendations and interpreted in the form of tables and plain text. For comparison, a general sample menu for the period of remission has been worked out. The research results show that eating habits of patients are quite stereotypical. Generally known facts have been confirmed. Most frequently, patients try to avoid the consumption of dairy products, wholemeal bread and legumes. The consumption of vegetables, fruits and fish is not sufficient. Patients are not aware enough of the role of a nutritional therapist, most respondents do not have any personal experience with him. Dietary advice is searched on the internet where some unverified recommendations may endanger health of individuals of malnutrition, hypovitaminoses or deficiency of trace elements. However, patients in the remission stage of ulcerative colitis should follow the rational diet with regard to individual food intolerance.
