Implementation of selected control algorithms for FPGA
Bradáč, Martin ; Vejlupek, Josef (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
A real-time computer cRIO-9073 supplied by National Instruments, together with the software tool LabVIEW is a versatile system used in many fields, for both research and practical tasks. This thesis deals with the possibilities of the system. It is aimed primarily at performance testing, identifying potential limitations and showing its practical use. The whole system has undergone testing through the use of programs covering the wide spectrum of utilisation. cRIO also allows the use of other software tools in its programming. This thesis explores the options of using Matlab/Simulink from MathWorks and the generation of VHDL code using a product of Xilinx. The aim is to compare the demands on the resources consumed, by the Field-programmable gate array (FPGA) in cRIO as well as the CPU load running the Real-time process.

Application of a measuring probes in milling proces
Kulhánek, Jaroslav ; Píška, Miroslav (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The object of this work is to apply the measuring probe in the process of the machining and explore the use of the measuring probes. For the practical of the measurement was use measuring probes, the program supplied with the measuring probes, machining centers and the resulting data were evaluated on a PC. Finally, work is to evaluate the measurements and describe the appropriateness of the application.

Economic Aspects of Public Orders Submitting
Hrdinová, Eva ; Srba, Martin (referee) ; Hromádka, Vít (advisor)
The issue solved in this thesis is the procedure for the award of public contract, which is explored from the perspective of the Act No. 137/3006 Coll., on Public Contracts, as Amended. With the help of latest Amendment No. 55/2012 Coll., number of changes was allocated into the tables. These changes fundamentally modify the view on the Act of Public Contract. Process of the award of public contract is then analyzed and evaluated by the tender dossier, from which the data about qualification requirements and evaluation criteria was drawn. Evaluation is performed using graphs and tables. The result of this thesis is to demonstrate a significant effect of the Amendment on the entire procedure and the decrease of assigned public works contracts with regard to public supply contracts and public service contracts. Future recommendation is to re-amend the Act on Public Contract and try to allow the re-growth of awarded public contracts, and to reclaim significant negative impact of the Amendment.

Do fuel prices respond asymmetrically in the Czech Republic?
Kohoutek, Jakub ; Koubek, Ivo (advisor) ; Chytilová, Helena (referee)
It's a subject of extensive discussion whether or not fuel prices on gas stations respond faster on an increase of oil price than on its decrease. Though this phenomenon is widely discussed in scientific literature, there's still no study focused on an asymmetric behavior of fuel prices on the Czech market. This diploma thesis fills the gap and explores the reaction of fuel prices in response to cost shocks in the environment of the Czech Republic. At the first section of thesis, there is described several economic theories explaining asymmetric reaction - especially the theories based on consumer behavior under the imperfect information assumption and the theory of tacit collusion according to which the price of previous period provides companies on oligopolistic market with a focal price for implicit cartel agreement. In the Empirical part of the thesis, I use an error correction model allowing asymmetric reaction to analyze if the retail fuel prices in the Czech Republic really react with different lag on positive and negative cost shocks. Based on several time series of gasoline and diesel prices, presence of asymmetric price reaction was proven between wholesale and retail level of supply chain.

Strategies of courier, express and parcel service providers in a period of economic recession and recovery
Žilková, Kristýna ; Pernica, Petr (advisor) ; Jirsák, Petr (referee)
The thesis explores the influence of economic recession and recovery on strategy of courier, express and parcel service providers and on a change of the service portfolio. It then focuses on the development of the supply chain caused by increasing volume of small consignment. The thesis also analyzes the impact of the economic crisis on employment and turnover of selected service providers.

Structural changes, structural unemployment and its solution on the labor market in the region Karvinsko
Kuželová, Kateřina ; Vostrovská, Zdenka (advisor) ; Houdek, Petr (referee)
This thesis is concentrated on the labor market in the past five years in region Karvinsko. Programming tools for creation expert systems
Hrbek, Filip ; Berka, Petr (advisor) ; Svátek, Vojtěch (referee)
This bachelor thesis is going to explore the supply of programming tools for creation expert system and compare these tools by established criteria. This document is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first one is trying to describe expert system topic including division of programming tools into general programming language, programming language for artificial intelligence and development toolkits for expert system. The reader can imagine general model, which will be compared by practical applications. In the practical part I have written something about established criteria. The study describes programming tools. Information about them I have found in the manuals, tutorials, information from manufacturer, testing these tools. In conclusion I have compared them in tables. I have chosen only few examples of programming tools, because the offer on now day market is too wide.

Potential of the Czech Republic as a destination for speleotourism
Jarošová, Petra ; Petrů, Zdenka (advisor) ; Valentová, Jana (referee)
The thesis is focused on possibilities of using caves for the purpose of tourism and for spending free time. Particular goal, as the title of the thesis discovers, is to measure the potential of the Czech Republic as a destination for speleotourism. The thesis charts and analyses recent supply of speleologic free time activities for the general public and maps over activity of organizations involved in caves exploring and protecting. The thesis points out obstacles in developing speleotourism and also sketches out possible future progress; based on discussions with members of the Czech Speleological Society and other authorities.

Dart control sensing unit for steel tip
Růžek, Václav ; Louda, Jan (referee) ; Musila, Pavel (advisor)
Problematics of sensing position metal darts in targets is new and in this time is no too explored problem. This work analyses accessible method, what can realize this scan. There are lot of accessible methods like best applicable reflect method inductive, based on change inductivity and method capacitive, based on change capacities tabular condenser. Capacitive sensing should be realized by the plate couple, where stiring electrode supplies signal.Sensing electrode receiving this signal. On the basis changes thorough electrostatic field measures change capacities. By the changes capacities fit algorithm we can evaluate, whether is in sensing field visible foreign subject – dart. For capacitive method is also designed driving and scanning unit. Various method were to be laboratory tested and was achieved satisfactory results.

Launch of a New Nonprofit Organization
Talácková, Jitka ; Khelerová, Vladimíra (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Zdeněk (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze Kladno kindergarten market in order to find out whether there is room for a new kindergarten operating according to forest kindergarten principles. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the nonprofit organizations marketing in general and its specifics. The thesis further deals with the idea of the forest kindergarten itself, describes its history and the current situation in the Czech Republic and finally it explores the conditions necessary for utilizing this alternative concept of pre-school education in the Czech Republic. In the practical part of the thesis the analysis of the pre-school education supply in Kladno is compared to local demographics, respectively the local demand. The market research part investigates possible clients' requirements for a kindergarten and reveals whether the respondents would be interested in a forest kindergarten being opened. Based on the results of the research a proposal of the new kindergarten is defined and a communication campaign suitable for the kindergarten's market entry is described.
