An Application of Political Theories on the Transformation of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia after 1989

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the development of the transmission power of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia to Civic Forum within the Czechoslovak state from the revolutionary events of November 1989 to the end of the year. It also seeks to typologies characteristic of social science authors of the transitologist processes and applies them to the case of Czechoslovak transition from non - democracy to consolidated democratic system by the first free elections in 1990. Moreover the emphasis is placed on the analysis of transformed the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia, internal respectively external transformation of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia in the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia, or the theory of anti-system approach used to apply and analyze the example of the Czech Communist Party.

Opportunity and feasibility study

The theme of this master´s thesis is a feasibility analysis of planned construction of an enviromentally friendly hotel in the Czech context on the example of Yves Rocher company. The reason for choosing this topic is my interest in the enviromental pro-tection and an effort to point out the advantages of implementing the principles of enviromentally aware into the company´s own strategy. The thesis focuses on the interests of potential clientele and the level of viability of the future accommodation facility with the goal of verifying whether there is realistically a chance of profitability of a project involving the construction of an enviromentally friendly hotel in the Czech enviroment. A complete analysis is carried out during the pre-stage to determine the above mentioned aspects and it´s main focus is an opportunity study and feasibility study. Public opinion data was gathered using a survey among 160 independent respondents. SLEPT analysis was used for a detailed analysis of the external environment of the enviromentally friendly hotel. It´s technical functionality allows detailed characterization of each segment including the impacts that any action in those given segments can have. These impacts can be a key indicator for establishing the required market stability. The SWOT analysis was used for the final summary of the gathered results. This summary was then implemented in the Logical Framework approach with the goal of final recapitulation of the project´s design.

Analysis of the Communication Activities of the Spa Jáchymov Markéta Hessová Abstract The theme of this thesis is the Analysis of the communication activities of the Spa Jáchymov. The author of the work chose to evaluate the communication activities of the company within the time range between 2008 and 2010, which saw some fundamental changes in the company's communication strategy. These are described in detail later in the paper. The aim of the work is to assess how marketing communication has developed with respect to building company's image and if the selected communication tactics are effective. In order to assess the current situation of the Spa Jáchymov, author chose SWOT analysis that takes into account both internal and external business environment, i.e. the city Jáchymov, Karlovy Vary region and current trends in the spa tourism industry. There were also two questionnaire surveys carried out to provide arguments for the assessment conclusions and to support the hypothesis, which assumes that the Spa Jáchymov does not use their potential sufficiently, since it is a unique radon spa in the Czech Republic and the first radon spa in the world. Analysis method of securing the evacuation of people from emergency planning zone of nuclear power plant Temelin

The thesis deals with the solution to evacuation of the population from the zone of emergency planning of the nuclear power station Temelín in the event of an incident connected with the release of radioactive substances . It analyzes the way of evacuation of the persons, as one of the most important safety measures to ensure protection of the population. In particular, the work focuses on the correct procedures in the case of realization of the evacuation and competence of the persons involved in safety measures. It lists the basic criteria which are applied in protection of the population from the effects of ionizing radiation in vicinity of nuclear power plants. It proposes improving of quality of security protection and information of persons in the zone of emergency planning. The work is based on valid law regulations and special publications of the examined problems. The predominantly part is based on the laws in force, and expertise of publications covering the evacuation of the area.It refers to the external emergency plan, as the basic document for the planning of measures for the disposal of the consequences of radiation accidents or radiation accidents and the limitation of their consequences for the zone of emergency planning. The theoretical part proceeeds from analysis of contemporary legislation concerning the stated problematics, presents the general characteristics of a nuclear device and zone of emergency planning, defining the basic concepts and discusses the important measures in addressing emergencies arising in connection with radiation accidents in nuclear power plant. The work puts emphasis on the principle of correct behaviour of the population in the event of such an accident. For the processing of the thesis there has been used an exploration method, which is based on the proposed methodology. On the base of analysis of survey, possible ways of improvement of this branch were suggested. From the collected data there have been assessed possible system measures of evacuation with regard to their application in practice.

Customs duties in EU and in Ukraine

Resume The submitted thesis deals with customs as an instrument of custom tarrif regulation in European Union and in the Ukraine. This thesis defines in detail customs tariff regulation from prospective of financial and custom law in both legal systems. It further represents the views of the main principles of customs regulation, defines customs tarrif, its basic elements and types, and also compares legislation in the Ukraine and in European Union. The legal sources in the field of customs tarrif regulation valid for both in the Ukraine and in European Union are also stated. The main part of the work is dealing with the Community Customs Code, Code's implementing provisions (Commision Regulation No 2454/93), Common Customs tariff of the EU, which is the external tariff applied to products imported into the European Union, and Combined Nomenclature as the tariff and statistical nomenclature of the Customs Union. The Ukrainian Customs tariff Act and the Ukrainian Clasification of Comodities in foreign trade contain the comodity nomenclature of foreign trade. The last part of the thesis deals with value of goods and contry of origin of goods. I describe here the definition of value of goods and methods of its assessment in Ukraine and European Union. Mgr. Eliška Baťová, dipl. um. The Kolín Cantional from 1517 and Songs of the Bohemian Brethren n the Early Sixteenth Century This thesis is revised version of my diploma paper. It deals with the Czech cantional hold in Kolín, The Regional Museum, and its contribution to hymnology. Both the complete external description of the source and the analysis of its contents is made. It looks mainly into the liturgical use of the repertory and its historical and confessional context. In detail there are treated its relations to the repertory of the Bohemian Brethren with regard to the tune, lyrics and liturgy. The result of this paper is the new evaluation of this manuscript and its signification to the musical and ecclesiastical history. It also brings important pieces of knowledge about the new form of the Bohemian reformational music of the Jagellonian period. Conception of Labour in the Spirituality of St. Clare and the Order of Poor Clares

Pavel Vojtěch Kohut OCD Annotation: The submitted thesis is focused on the concept of human labour in the working of Saint Clara and related clarisses spirituality. For better orientation in the subject there are basic historic data from the life of Saint Clara of Assisi and from the history of Poor Clara's Order. Furthermore, this work briefly introduces the term of human labour from the aspect of anthropological sciences and philosophy and the concept of Magisterium, mainly in the documents Gaudium et spes and Laborem exercens. The fundamental part deals with the dignity of human labour within the clarisses and franciscans spirituality. The work is based on interpretation of testaments contained in the written sources from the 13th century. Additionally, the author briefly mentions evolution process of the concept of labour within the Order of Poor Clares, outlines subject of the servants - external sisters. Finally, the last chapter focuses on present theological-legal reflection of the term labour on the basis of council and following documents about nunhood (Perfectae caritatis, Venite seorsum Potissimum institutioni) and nowadays valid...

Corporate social responsibility – social pillar

The main goal of this Bachelor Thesis is to introduce the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with a focus on social pillar in external and internal dimension of the organization. The Bachelor Thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part contains the general characteristics of the concept of CSR, clarifies the benefits and criticism, methods and areas of application, attitude of Europe towards Corporate Social Responsibility. Furthermore, theroretical part focuses only on the social pillar of CSR, introducing standards applicable in a given pillar and examining in detail the ways companies behave responsibly towards employees and external entities. The practical part is focused on the social pillar of CSR concept implemented in internationally operating company ABB. The work submits proposals for possible expansion of activities in the social field of CSR in ABB CZ by comparing the concept of the company in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Analysis of a Business Model – Ensuring of Vehicle and Emission Testing of Cars

The aim of this thesis is to analyse a business model that is defined in two ways: company client and company company. The main point is ensuring of vehicle and emission testing of cars. In the first case, car owners are the clients, and in the second case, car repair shops are the clients. The theoretical part includes definitions of terms and descriptions of individual analyses and serves as a basis for the practical part where we can find internal and external analyses as well as descriptions of both forms of the business model. The outcomes of the analyses are then used to create a SWOT matrix. The conclusion of the thesis contains an evaluation of the data and results of all analyses, which can present a useful tool when deciding about any further development of the business idea.

The company in a competitive environment

The Master´s thesis is dealing with characteristic of a firm in competitive environment. The theoretical part describes various forms of markets, both perfect and imperfect competition. Furthermore, in this part will be characterized the concept of marketing mix, internal and external environment of a company, and also selected analyses from both these environments. The main part of the thesis is focused on three media agencies, which will be described in detail. Also, locations where these agencies operate will be described. Locations determine positions of these firms in the market and their respective competitive powers. In the analysis section, I will apply the Porter Five Forces model and the SWOT analysis on these selected firms. Subsequently, I will be dealing with advertisement since it is a crucial part of the marketing mix, very important for comparison of the agencies. The practical part will present a research and a questionnaire. The research is focused on the influence of advertisement on public. The questionnaire is dealing with cultural events. The thesis compares total revenues, analyses results of the investigation, and proposes ways that the selected agencies could achieve better position in the market.
