Psychological reaction to different types of emergencies and disasters
Koblic, Milan ; Fiala, Miloš (advisor) ; Vilášek, Josef (referee)
Title: Psychological reactions to different types of emergencies and disasters Objectives: Develop a general overview of human behavior patterns of individuals and groups in unexpected situations. Methods: In this work were used the methods of analysis and comparison. The analysis was applied to the analysing of different types of emergencies and disasters. By comparison were then compared patterns of different types of personalities among themselves, but also depending on the type of threat. Results: It was found that the response to external stimuli are internal conditions, individual abilities, attitudes and temperament. A major role but also plays a readiness on the situation. If one knows the formula by which should the situation solve, increase the chance that threat or disaster can handle. Keywords: response, Great, disaster psychology, citizen
The preparation and study of catalytic system Cu(O)-CeO2 using surface analytical methods
Šmíd, Břetislav
Title: The preparation and study of catalytic system Cu(O)-CeO2 using surface analytical methods Author: Břetislav Šmíd Department: Department of Surface and Plasma Science Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: Doc. Mgr. Iva Matolínová, Dr. Abstract: This work is concerned with a study of copper/copper oxide - cerium dioxide systems and their interaction with CO and H2O molecules. Investigated samples were prepared in the form of powder catalysts and also as very well defined model inverse systems. The low temperature CO oxidation powder catalysts were studied by means of XPS, XRD, SEM, TEM and in micro-reactor system allowing the CO oxidation examination. The study of H2O adsorption and co-adsorption of H2O with CO were carried out on model inverse systems CeOx(111)/Cu(111) in ultra-high vacuum conditions using X-ray, synchrotron radiation (SRPES), resonant (RPES) photoelectron spectroscopies and LEED. It was observed on the stoichiometric surface water adsorbs molecularly at 120 K while on the reduced surface and surface of CeO2 islands on Cu(111) the H2O adsorption is partially dissociative with formation of OH groups. The increase of Ce3+ species (i.e. surface reduction) observed after H2O adsorption was explained as an electronic effect of the Ce 4f charge accumulation and Ce 5d charge depletion....
Behavioral symptoms in sexually abused children, families access and response of social workers
Abrahámová, Simona ; Kaňák, Jan (advisor) ; Stretti, Sylvie (referee)
Diploma thesis "Behavioral symptoms in sexually abused children, families access and response of social workers" focuses on clarifying the issue of child sexual abuse and its course. The introductory chapters deal with explaining the concept of sexual abuse and the possible occurrence. It characterized by potential victims, offenders and the possible risks. The work focuses on social and psychosomatic manifestations of children who are victims of sexual abuse. It compares the responses of children by age and sex. The important part is the revelation of the incident. Revealed is the most deliverance victim of pathological behavior. The work describes the victim may have reasons for concealing situation, how it reacts family after disclosure. How the assistence of social workers in contact with victims of sexual abuse. But also what measures are needed to prevent further deprivation of the child. The main goal of this work is to answer the main research question "What is the situation of the family associated with reportinag CSA?". This question seeks the whole structure of the work. The result of this thesis is the research part. The research is the analysis of documentation. The obtained dat to analyze the situation of families after reporting sexual abuse. The final summary contains the output of...
Preparation of radiolabelled bilirubin
Čepa, Adam ; Smrček, Stanislav (advisor) ; Moša, Marek (referee)
This thesis is dedicated to reasearch in radiolabeling bile pigment bilirubin. Minority bilirubin present in the body the form unconjugated. In this work, it was crucial synthesize radiolabeled bilirubin which could be monitored by detector in vitro experiments. A possible further applications, such bilirubin would be detectable in vivo experiments using µ-PET/SPECT (micro- positron emission tomography/single photon emission computed tomography) . The aim of this thesis propose variation for possible signs of bilirubin radioisotopes and synthesis of bilirubin derivates suitable for radioactive labeling. Another objektive of this work is the synthesis and study of the well-known derivative ranarubin called bilirubin, which could potentially have very simile characteristics, such as bilirubin and therefore would be a good candidate for radioisotope labeling and study of biological systems.
Recognition of warning signal jay (Garrulus glandarius) in roe deer (Capreolus capreolus)
Pacáková, Alena ; Obleser, Petr (advisor) ; Husinec, Václav (referee)
This elaboration focus on bioacoustics interactions between a deer/roubucke(Capreolus capreolus) living in our territory, which is highly hunted and a jay bird (Garrulus glandarius), which has abilities according to ingrained experiences and traditional folk superstitions hetero-specifically to warn against predators. On territory of the Czech republic is a deer/roubucke one of the most widespread artiodactyl and a jay bird is one the most common birds. The acoustic communication between those two species plays a big role, but her research was paid only slight attention. This elaboration focus on recognition is abilities of deer on warning signals received from jay bird. There was 39 records received, how roe deer reacts on jas is bird signals. All recording took place in area of Radotin in Prague. By using the sound system, there were playing control signals of magpie bird follow up with warning signals of jay bird. There were evaluated aspects like sex, bonnet, distance, size of the bunch and of curse their influences on timing of hunting season. The outcomes helped us to closely understand of life of roe deer and their behavior when they recognize warning signals. The analysis provided us information that roe deer respond the same way to warning signals from jay birds as well as control signals from magpie birds. Based on further outcomes of the elaboration, it is important to mention unsubstantiated correlations of received signals between sex and age of roe deer. We assume that behavioral symptoms to warning signals are closely related to experiences of given individual roe deer.
Responses of tree sparrow \kur{Passer montanus} to harlequin ladybird \kur{Harmonia axyridis}.
ERNESTOVÁ, Barbora
Responses of tree sparrow (Passer montanus) to aposematic harlequin ladybird were studied in laboratory tests. Four age classes of tree sparrows were confronted with natural and brown painted ladybirds of succinea form.

Reactive Audit
Hlísta, Juraj ; Drozd, Michal (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the proposal and the implementation of an extension for the audit system in Linux - the reactive audit. It brings a new functionality to the auditing in form of triggering reactions to certain audit events. The reactive audit is implemented within an audit plugin and its use is optional. Additionally, there is another plugin which stores some audit events and provides time-related statistics for the first plugin. As the result, the mechanism of the reactive audit does not only react to some audit events, it is also able to reveal anomalies according to the statistical information and set ofe the appropriate reactions. It is a fairly general mechanism that can be useful in various situations.
Worm conveyor
Tichý, Jiří ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor contains of a proposal and design of a sloping hydrated lime worm conveyor. The project is composed of technical specifications and drawing documentation. the technical specifications deal eith calculating the main parameters of worms conveyor, drive desin, storage of spiral worm and strength calculation of spiral worm shft. Drawing documentation is worked into the AutoCAD Mechanical program and consist of drawing assembly with individual details of the spiral worm shaft, manufacturing drawings nad welding assembly of the spiral worm.
