Laboratory scenarios describing DNS system
Sakala, Peter ; Langhammer, Lukáš (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with Domain Name System (DNS) and its practical use. It describes hierarchy of domain names, resource record types, protocol used, as well as DNSSEC extension. The most utilized implementations of authoritative and recursive DNS servers are presented. Virtualization, containers and other tools with potential use in labs are described. Two lab scenarios in virtualized environment with instructions for students were designed and developed in this thesis.
Protection of domain names
Klíma, Karel ; Horáček, Vít (advisor) ; Eichlerová, Kateřina (referee)
Protection of domain names The aim of this work is to place domain names in the legal system, to try their legal classification, explore ways they can be compromised, and to analyze the possibilities of their protection. Particular attention is paid to the international management of domain names and legal grounds of the issue. Given that the topic of protection of domain names is relatively little explored, particular primary sources of relevant information will be subject to review, ie international standards and laws, as well as technical articles and case law. Resources will be handled mainly by descriptive and analytical research method, sometimes complemented by a historical method. The first part defines the basic concepts largely of a technical nature relating to the internet and domain names whose knowledge is essential to understand the issue and its legal assessment. The second part defines the term and the concept of domains and domain names and their permissible forms, and also presents a typology of Top Level Domains. The third part deals with international and national management of domains and domain names. It presents the most important authorities in the field of domain names, key institutions and organizations, the circumstances of their foundation, and international and national...
The Feudo-vassal System on Royal Estates in Early Modern Bohemia
Novotná, Markéta ; Žemlička, Josef (advisor) ; Maur, Eduard (referee) ; Mikulec, Jiří (referee)
Markéta Novotná Abstract - The Feudo-vassal System on Royal Estates in Early Modern Bohemia The study is devoted to the topic of feudo-vassal relations in early modern Bohemia presented on a sample of specific royal and chamber domains at the castle Karlštejn. The first part of the thesis describes how the feudo-vassal tenures were treated in Czech and European historical studies, using impulses from the philosophy and sociology. The others chapters are dedicated to the main object of this analysis - to the Karlštejn vassal system - a group of small-sized estates connected to castle Karlštejn through feudo-vassal bonds. The second chapter of the thesis deals with the problem of historical consciousness, where the castle Karlštejn is imagined as the site of "the national memory", which strongly effected the interpretation of the Karlštejn vassal system. The third (main) part of the thesis presents the factual analysis of the Karlštejn vassal system from the last third of sixteenth century to the turn of the seventies and the eighties of the next century. At the end of the study the analysis of four chosen vassal estates is added. Key words: Karlštejn, historiography, vassals, feudal system, domain, chamber, lower nobility
Rights of designation and rules for their construction
Kalenský, Michal ; Horáček, Vít (advisor) ; Tomsa, Miloš (referee)
In the thesis author deals with the rights for designation which are composed of trade names, trademarks, designations of origin, geographical indications and domains. Area of domains is represented only by domains of the highest level - "cz" and "eu". Rights for designation are analysed especially from the view of the rules of their construction. Thesis concerns both national and union institutes and also presents the legal status after the recodification of the civil law. Chapter One deals with intellectual property in general, which is defined by its conceptual characteristics. Second, third, fourth and fifth chapter focuses on individual right for designation. These chapters are subdivided according to the same logical structure into the subchapters. Subchapter One provides an outline of the historical development of the respective inalienable possessions from the oldest historical period up to the present day. In view of the fact that rights to designation are regulated by large amounts of legal sources of law (as current legislation, international treaties, internal regulations, general terms and conditions), which come from national, union and international legal rules, for clear arrangement was necessary to write down the most significant sources. A part of second subchapter of each...
Domain and structural characterization of tyrosine phosphorylation sites in cancer cells
Vávra, Dan ; Novotný, Marian (advisor) ; Brábek, Jan (referee)
Phosphorylation is an important mechanism for regulation of protein function and aktivity. Tyrosine phosphorylation plays a critical role in signaling pathways. Aberrant tyrosine phosphorylation was observed in many cancer types. My work follows patological details of tyrosine phosphorylation sites of lung and colorectal cancers. Point of view includes aminoacid sequence, secondary structure, domain localization, expression, model organism ortholog occurrence. The project is based on analysis of literary informations and data from protein databases. There are no new phosphorylation sites in observed cancer types. Regular secondary structures, α-helices and β-sheets, are significantly phosphorylated in compare with loops. Annexin and Kinase domains are the most phosphorylated. Gene expression change of phosphorylated proteins occurs in observed cancer cells. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Transformation of cultural landscape in metropolis background: Dolní Břežany territory from 16th till 19th century
Kucrová, Veronika ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Semotanová, Eva (referee) ; Koumar, Jiří (referee)
1 Veronika Kucrová: Proměna kulturní krajiny v zázemí hlavního města: Dolnobřežansko v 16. - 19. století Abstract Transformation of the cultural landscape in the vicinity of the capital city: Dolnobřežansko in 16th-19th century This study is dealing with the development of cultural landscape in the Dolní Břežany Estate in the early modern times, specifically from late 16th century to the middle of 19th century. The focal points of the study are three important elements: the development of the built-up areas of the selected villages, the monitoring of the transformation of the landscape out of the built-up and uninhabited areas (forests in particular), and finally the detection of agricultural and other objects in the landscape - the reason of their origin, use and potential downfall. The Dolní Břežany Estate is located 16 km south of Prague, it was established gradually starting in 14th century but its biggest growth was during the beginning of 17th century. Minor aristocratic owners were replaced by influential representatives of the Czech state (the Želínský family of Sebuzín, Michna of Vacínov) until the Prague Archbishopric became the new owner in 1713. Thanks to that, most historical written sources come from the Prague Archbishopric Archive, alternatively from the manor farm estate archive. Using the...
Kvazieuklidovské obory integrity
Čoupek, Pavel ; Šaroch, Jan (advisor) ; Glivický, Petr (referee)
In this thesis, we present an overview of some of the known facts about k-stage Euclidean and quasi-Euclidean rings and domains, certain generalisations of the concept of Euclidean ring, as well as some new results. Among the new results, the norm-free characterization of k-stage Euclidean rings based on a transfinite construction of k-stage Euclidean ring is fundamental and has many applications. Statements providing a way to construct new k-stage Euclidean rings from other k-stage Euclidean rings recieve special attention (with the integral domain case in mind). Also, we present an example of a 3-stage Euclidean integral domain which we believe is a good candidate for not being 2-stage Euclidean. 1
Village Pátek during 20th century
Kolbaba, Lukáš ; Dvořáková, Michaela (advisor) ; Dvořáková, Markéta (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals the village Pátek during the history. The main part of thesis is 19th and especially 20th century. Are important events that had a major impact on the lives of citizens.
