Dynamic Response of Pregnant Belly and Discomfort in Late Stage of Pregnancy
Povolná, Zuzana ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Kubový, Petr (referee)
Objective: To detect efficiency of pregnancy belt during the low back pain condition in the late stage of pregnancy based on literature search, theory and experiment. Methods: Two participants in the late stage of pregnancy with low back pain condition participated in this experiment. We focused on vibration dampening capacity of a pregnant abdomen using Qualisys a Kistler technique, while using different types of pregnancy belt as a support of the lumbopelvic area. In the second part of the experiment we tested particular pregnancy belt - Cellacare® Materna and its effectiveness on reduction of low back pain at twelve pregnant women, for this purpose we used one standardised questionnaire - Roland-Morris Low Back Pain and Disability Questionnaire. Results: It appears that there is no difference in reduction of vibration dampening capacity of pregnant abdomen even if different types of pregnancy belts used. Conclusion: Upon the gained results we can say that the pragnancy belt reduces low back pain in the late stage of pregnancy but probably not by the reduction of the abdomen vibration. It can be supposed that by using the pregnancy belt we can change ballasted characterisations of the lumbar area - the pain disappears. Keywords: late stage of pregnancy, low back pain, support belt, damping of abdomen...

Magnetic properties of Ce compounds studied by specific heat
Čermák, Petr ; Javorský, Pavel (advisor) ; Havela, Ladislav (referee)
Materials containing the 4f (rare earth) or 5f (actinides) exhibit a large variety of interesting physical properties. The Ce-based compounds have a special place among the rare-earth compounds. The Ce atom contains only a single f-electron that is responsible for the magnetic behavior. The 4f states in compounds with the heavy rare earths have a well localized character, whereas many Ce-based compounds are on the borderline between the localized and itinerant behavior. These compounds show large variety of the magnetic ground states what is a result of the competition between the long-range order of the RKKY type and the screening of the localized moments by conduction electrons. We observe nonmagnetic states with a mixed valence (between Ce3+ and Ce4+), metallic systems with a long-range order of the Ce moments (ferromagnetic, antiferromagnetic or more complex structures). To analyze the electronic properties, the heat capacity data, and namely their low-temperature part, play an indispensable role. This diploma work comprise the sample preparation of selected cerium compounds, their phase characteristics and the heat capacity measurements at low temperatures (0.4 - 300 K). The main part is focused on the data analysis and comparison with theoretical models.

This work analyses the enterprise architectures questions. Enterprise architecture is relatively familiar in the field of informatics today. It covers discipline of modeling and planning development of information technology, especially in wide organizations. Enterprise architecture is an important branch under the conditions that system complexity exceeds brain capacities of workers. The first part deals with analysis of enterprise architecture, primarily structure, content and relationship to whole enterprise. The most important part of this section is a characterization of enterprise architecture frameworks that facilitate entire process of formation. The second part deals with introduction of three essential architecture frameworks: Zachman, TOGAF and FEAF. Subsequently FEAF is compared with two previous frameworks. The conclusion of this work contains short comparison of features and contents all three mentioned enterprise architecture frameworks.

Cytotoxicity of mycotoxins in vitro methods using CHO-K1 cells
Franzová, Pavla ; Herink, Josef (referee) ; Vopršalová, Marie (advisor)
The purpose of this study was to determine the capacity of three Fusarium mycotoxins: BEA, DON, T-2 toxin, to induce cytotoxicity using the mammalian CHO-K1 cells by the NR assay. CHO-K1 cells were exposed to several concetrations of DON, BEA and T-2 toxin and several incubation times. The extent of cell injury was assessed by NR uptake assay, after an incubation period of 24, 48 and 72h. Moreover, the viability of CHO-K1 cells was measured in the presence of a mixture of two or three of the mycotoxins. Significant differences were observed between the compounds tested. All toxins, DON, BEA and T-2 toxin, tested individually diminish cell viability. Individual mycotoxins reduce viability in increasing order: BEA<DON<T-2 toxin. Our results show that CHO-K1 cells are extremely sensitive to T-2 toxin. T-2 toxin exhibited the most cytotoxic response against the cell line tested. Results obtained indicate that CHO-K1 cell line, exhibited a time and concentration- dependent cytotoxicity. Our results demonstrated that the T-2 toxin was found to be more cytotoxic during the exposure period, which was totally in agreement with the data previously published. The aim of this study was also to evaluate the cytotoxicity of low concentrations of mycotoxin combinations on CHO-K1 cells. We have studied the...

Optical Convertors
Chleboun, Jan ; Dostál, Otto (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
Optical converters are used in various types of optical networks to provide end-users of data and voice services and also allow reception of television broadcasting, which is transmitted through optical media. The current trend is the construction of FTTH networks (Fiber To The Home), which, thanks to optical fibre, have reduced the speed or capacity, as in the case with metallic networks. The proposal is the need to consider positive and negative factors associated with building of concrete network with a specified number of users and location. Each network consists of passive and active components. Passive can be used for transmission of information, therefore they are mainly elements transmission medium. Active part includes elements for sending and receiving information transmitted by optical media. Transmitters vary their technical implementation, quality and reliability. This obviously affects the price of both active and passive parts. The cost of the operation of the network are also increased with demands of control. The advantage is the efficient management, which is guaranteed by return of the cost to build a FTTH network. Optical network with a system of remote management converters is a new trend of optical communications.

Integration of Photovoltaic Power Plants in the Electricity System
Michl, Pavel ; Paar, Martin (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The thesis discuses an integration of photovoltaic power stations to electric network. The first part describes connecting conditions of small sources to distribution system, including administrative requirements, feasibility study, and requirements to the energy meters, measuring, control devices, switching devices and protection. The second part is aimed to describe problems of the photovoltaic system. Solar radiation generating and reducing of its intensity incident upon the earth surface are described in this part. The quantum of produced electric power depends on climatic conditions in the fixed area, seasons, etc. This work also discusses the types of photovoltaic cells and their actual efficiency. Inverters are further important components of the photovoltaic system. The parameters of the inverters have a great influence on the total actual efficiency of the photovoltaic system. Different methods of the photovoltaic panels’ connection with the inverters and their advantages and disadvantages are also mentioned. The supporting structure of the photovoltaic panels and eventually transformer are further important components of photovoltaic system. The work also analyze the methods of connection of the photovoltaic power station to distributive low voltage and medium voltage network, electric energy accumulation and possibilities of the sale of produced electric energy. The large number of the connected photovoltaic power stations has negative influences to electric network. The third part contains the design of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 516,24 kWp on the scoped area in southern Bohemia. The project documentation for the location where the power plant is designed is also made. It contains the design of photovoltaic panels, the design of the inverters to get an optimal power load. This part also contains a calculation of the photovoltaic system losses and the design of transformer and the cable junction calculation of the distributive system. The feasibility study of the power plant connected to distributive system is also conducted. Its delivery rate will be connected to the distribution point Řípov (110/22 kV). The calculation results show us that this photovoltaic power plant can be linked to the distribution system. The final part of this paper contains an economic estimate of the photovoltaic power plant operating and the calculation of the return. An Economic return is influenced by the wide range of values that affect the total return rate. The calculation of an operating economy is made for several variants. The return rate in refer to contemporary redemption price for 2010 with no consideration for a bank loan is 7 years. If we consider the bank loan it would be 12 years. The penetrative reduction of the redemption price is expected for 2011. Calculation works with the decline of 30 %. It would extend the rate of return to 11 years without a bank loan or to 22 years with the bank loan. The bank loan is considered to cover 80 % of the investment.
