Creating number concept up to 100

This diploma thesis deals with third-graders from one of Prague's elementary schools and their understanding of numbers. In addition to the Prodos textbooks, some didactical ideas were taken from the Fraus textbooks, which are aimed at the development of children's understanding mathematics. The experiments were carried out in a classroom and lasted one and a half year. Seven pupils were chosen to take part. The experiments were aimed at gauging their semantic and structural understanding of numbers. The pupils worked individually and were individually interviewed after the experiments. The assumption that pupils use strategies that are not taught in the classroom was confirmed, as well as the fact that the operation of subtraction is much more complicated than addition in mental arithmetic and also in written counting. However, the assumption that the pupils perform better when faced with financial matters as opposed to other situations was not confirmed. It came to light that when creating a verbal task, it is necessary to consider the pupil's understanding of the vocabulary used. Credit policy of Maxmilian II. (1564-1576) with special view to Bohemia

The Credit Policy of Maximilian II. (1564 - 1576) with special view to Bohemia is an overlooked theme. A1so whole personality of the emperor is in the shadow ofhis more known relations, the father Ferdinand 1. and the son Rudolf II. A last work, which was specialized in an economic and a credit policy, is over sixty years oldo Therefore I have to use foreign studie s, which are linked with the intemational project named A Financial and Economic Policy of the first Habsburgs. I have chosen this theme, because I had written a study about the king's credit policy in 1574 and 1575 in 2005. This study is divided into five parts, An Introduction, The Survey of Sources and Literatures, The Financial and Economic Policy, The Campaign in 1566, Eliška z Landštejna na Tuchorazi and Magdalena z Brodějovic as Examples of Creditors. The first expert chapter is The Financial and Economic Policy. In this issue I would like to introduce an administration of Maximilian' s revenues and expenses. I have given consideration to offices and officers, chamber' s possessions, credits, fiscal systems in the second part of the XVI.th century, a phenomenon of loan. Lately, the supply of employee benefits is component of remuneration. Employees do not get wage only. There is huge quantity of employee benefits. This paper firstly defines employee benefits, summarizes tax legislative and points out new trends which are connected with this topic. After the short introduction of the company Ceska sporitelna, I am trying to describe the system of employee benefits at this company, I am also analyzing this system from the view of satisfaction, foreknowledge and the rate of exploitation by the questionnaires. At the end of my paper I am evaluating all the mentioned system of benefits and I am offering some improvements.

The Ethical and Ontological Aspect of the Phenomenon of Consciousness

Ve své diplomové práci se budu zabývat fenoménem svědomí, jehož pojetí je velmi důležité pro ustavení etiky jako jedné z filozofických disciplín. Na rozdíl od dobra, které bylo hned od počátku pojímáno jako ontologická kategorie, bylo svědomí původně ustavováno jako kategorie čistě etická, a teprve od minulého století také jako kategorie ontologická. Právě tento posun ve vnímání svědomí směrem k moderní době bude předmětem mého zájmu. Pestrost proměn chápání svědomí není taková jako u pojetí dobra, ale rozdíly mezi jednotlivými představami o tom, čím je svědomí určováno a jak funguje jsou značné. Právě tato různorodost hraje důležitou roli při vnímání jednotlivých forem fenoménu svědomí tak, jak je v minulosti představovali jednotliví autoři, kteří se jej snažili zabudovat do svého filozofického systému. Studies towards Parmenides

Předkládané tři studie jsou pouze častí obsáhlejšího projektu výkladu Parmenidových fragmentů. Podcenění náročnosti závěrečné redakce textu vedlo bohužel k tomu, že se mi nezdařilo zcela dokončit další studie věnované ontologické části básně. Domnívám se však, že detailnější výklad v moderní literatuře často přehlíženého prooimia a rovněž i nejasné kosmologie má své opodstatnění pro pochopení celé básně. Situace v předsókratických bádáních je dnes jiná než před padesáti, či pouze třiceti lety a pro bohatsví rozličných interpretačních hledisek a detailních studií, které je často nezbytné pro výklad zohlednit, je velmi obtížné vytvořit ucelený pohled na Parmenidovo učení. Rovněž i doxografický materiál je dnešním filologickým a historickým bádáním posuzován s větší akribií. Tyto okolnosti nutí vykladače k detailnějšímu pohledu na existující materiál. Úvodní studie představuje zatím první celistvou kritiku hypotéz o kultovním původu Parmenidově, vytvořených na základě archeologických vykopávek ve staré Eleji. Nekritické přijetí těchto spekulativních výkladů vedlo v nové literatuře k vytvoření jistých závěrů pro výklad Parmenida, které pokládám za zkreslující a neopodstatněné. Tato práce mi přinejmenším ozřejmila, na jak nejistých hlediscích je často postaven náš pohled na předsókratovskou filosofl. Druhá část...

The mm of the master thesi s "Rehabilitation of cognitive functions in patients afteľ bľain injury" was to claľify these problems fľom pľactical point of view. In the first chapter readers get acquainted with kinds of brain injury. The second chapter deals with cognitive tlmctions and the third, most extensive, lS dedicated to rehabilitation of patients after brain injury. The ľehabilitation lS conceived as a complex process involving care of patients in the biological, psychicaL social and physical sphere. The empirical part concentrates on training oť attention. Patients after brain injury. who were invol\"ed in the study. vvere divided into two groups. Within three weeks one group practiced on computer (programme RehaCom) and the other attended occupational therapy. We investigated whether there are any diťferences in the influence of training of attention by means oť computer programme or occupational therapy. In regard of a smalI sample (five patients in each group) and other conditions we came to the conclusion that the effect of training oť attention appeared in neither group after three weeks. Basic methodological techniques in user interface design

S neustálým vývojem výpočetních technologií roste i význam jejich možností ve vztahu k uživatelům. Počet lidí přicházejících do kontaktu s počítačovými systémy se rapidně zvětšuje. Ti, společně se stávajícími uživateli, vyžadují, aby pro ně bylo jednoduché naučit se ovládat moderní techniku, aby práce s ní byla rychlá, příjemná a účinná, aby počítače byly výkonnými pomocníky. Splnit tyto požadavky znamená vytvářet pro uživatele přívětivá uživatelská rozhraní. A právě o to se snaží vědní obor HCI - interakce člověk-počítač. Tato bakalářská práce podává přehled požadavků na použitelnost uživatelských rozhraní počítačových systémů, souvisejících norem a jiných standardů a především pak přehled dnes používaných metodik pro tvorbu uživatelských rozhraní. Část textu je věnována také popisu postupů při zjišťování použitelnosti UI.

The Russian Translations of A Clockwork Orange

The diploma thesis "Russian translations of A. Burgess' novel lA Clockwork Orange" deals with the question of translation of Russian words used in the book written in English into Russian. It also deals with the problem whether the former aesthetic value of the original is being preserved in the translated works as well. You will discover linguistic and literary analyses of the original version and its three Russian translations (which were published in Russia under the title 'Заводной апельсин') and a comparison of them. The Sinélščikov's translation seems to be the most successful at the first sight. He translates the Russian expressions used in English by English and American words. But only if you read the whole book you will find out that he slightly changes the original plot and thus he also shifts the meaning of the novel. In other words he does not preserve the original aesthetic value of Burgess' work. In comparison, Nëtësovova's translation is the most successful of all as for the maintenance of artistic value of the book. Paradoxically, the most often published Bošnjak's translation is excessively vulgar and it is the less imaginative translation of all. His translation does not give the reader the possibility to get known or to understand the meaning of Burgess' literary work. Powered by TCPDF...

The interactive comedy, Eduardo Rovner: She returned one night

Main aim of this bachelor thesis is an analysis and interpretation of the interactive comedy She returned one night written by Eduardo Rovner. The theoretic information about categories of comedies is used like an approach of the theme. In following paragraphs there is an outline of the author's life and his authorship, then the bachelor's thesis dedicates to parcicular aspects of the comedy as composition, linguistic and thematic aspects. The last part of the thesis applies off to overall world vision formulation in that skript, also considers production posibility. The personal characterization of performance in Branické theatre in Prague is not missing as well.
