Vrbová, Tereza ; Randáková, Monika (advisor)
The diploma work put brain to income from operations of natural persons in the accounting and tax evidence. At first it targets the income from operations and its different concept in the evidences. It describes establishment of income from operations on accrual and cash basis, defines components of income from operations - expenses, revenues, gains, losses, incomes and expenditures. The next part of the work focuses on legislation of income from operations in teh Czech Republic (in accounting and tax evidence). One of the chapters speeks about some economic transactions, which influences income from operations different in the accounting and tax evidence. The diploma work is finished with short example, which brings near the problem.

Compensation of the subjective visual vertical in patients after surgery of the vestibular schwannoma
Kmeť, Jan ; Čakrt, Ondřej (advisor) ; Pospíšilová, Mariana (referee)
In patients with the vestibular schwannoma balance disorders are common symptom. Problems can appear before a surgery, because of an oppression of the nerve the afferents from vestibular system of affected side is aborted. But it is often that patients have no problems with balance until the operation. After the operation they have a balance disorder, a vertigo and a change in the perception of the vertical. Thanks to the rest of the afferent systems and the otherside vestibular system it comes to a slowly compensation and to a new setting of the verticality in the central nervous system. This bachelor thesis studies our sense of the verticality and a function of each receptor, which participate in modelation of this sense. In practical part we handle the subjective visual vertical, which is a result of the vestibular function. We also observe progress and velocity of SVV compensation in patients after a removal of the vestibular schwannoma and we compare it with the state before the operation.

Activation of speaking skills of advanced students
Melkusová, Petra ; Rössler, Paul (referee) ; Berglová, Eva (advisor)
The theoretical part of my Diploma thesis deals with activation of speaking of advanced students during German language lessons. The emphasis is especially put on tools that can be used to achieve students' higher speaking activity. The newest information in the field of educational objectives provided by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is also taken into consideration. In the practical part I present my own ideas how to liven up lessons and force students to speak actively.

Interpretation of notions ira and furor in Seneca's tragedy Hercules furens based on the stoic afectology

Walking dysfunction in multiple sclerosis
Doležalová, Vendula ; Řasová, Kamila (advisor) ; Zimová, Denisa (referee)
In this study, we tried to find out what information we will get through the walk tests, if the walk tests provide different information for people with varying severity of the disease. From July to August 2009, patients with multiple sclerosis passed a cerebrospinal investigation carried out by two trained students from the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University. The whole study conducted in collaboration with MS Center Neurological Clinic of the Faculty Hospital in Královské Vinohrady. The results were evaluated in MS Excel with a help of functions descriptive statistics and CORREL. Overall it was demonstrated that short walk tests (Up and Go, 25 feet, 10 m fast, 10 m slowly) better reflect the impact of the muscle strength, fatigue and Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS). Between the 6-minute test and the Paced Auditory Serial Addition Test (PASAT) was also demonstrated relatively high value of dependence.

Nations and terrorisms in speeches by V.V. Putin and G.W. Bush
Dyurych, Pavlo ; Kabele, Jiří (advisor) ; Kandert, Josef (referee)
In this cross-national case study the author, as a former appreciator of Vladimir Putin's policy toward Chechnya, has tried to interpret the war on terrorism as a constructed entity by political leaders in crisis situations. Being inspired by the structural analysis of mythology he tries to identify the similarities and differences in the narratives about terrorism constructed by Vladimir Putin and G.W. Bush. The author argues that the both situations - in Russia in September 1999 and in USA after 11.9.2001 - could be regarded as crisis situations, and that is why the similarities could be found in the narratives about terrorism, articulated by both political leaders. In the first part of this paper, the author has shown the historical context of crisis in both countries. The second and the third part of the work is a qualitative content analysis of Bush's and Putin's speeches related to terrorism. The author has analytically divided speeches into two major blocks: "before" (speeches produced by the leaders in the short period after the crisis) and "after" (speeches produced by the leaders during their military campaigns on terror). The author argues that despite the minor mutations in the narrative, the structure of the myth was not affected. The main achievement of this case study is the finding that the...

Expression of cholinergic gene locus in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease
Zimčík, Pavel
(anglický jazyk) The most common senile dementia, Alzheimer disease (AD), is characterized by a decline of memory and high cognitive functions. Typical post-mortem brain lesions are extracellular amyloid deposits, intracellular neurofibrilary tangles and ruined cholinergic and other neurotransmitters systems. Connection between damaged central cholinergic system and beta-amyloid accumulation remains obscure. We examined parietal cortex of young adult (7- month-old) female APPswe/PS1dE9 double transgenic mice which develope beta-amyloid fragments at high rate. Cholinergic synapses of these mice demonstrate functional presynaptic (stimulated acetylcholine release) as well as postsynaptic (muscarinic receptor-induced Gprotein activation) deficits and reduction of cholinergic markers. The mRNA levels of choline acetyltransferase, vesicular acetylcholine transporter and M1 to M4 subtypes of muscarinic receptors were determined in transgenic and littermate controls using qPCR. Obtained experimental data does not show any changes in measured mRNA levels. These observations indicate that reduction of cholinergic synaptic markers and function is due to posttranscriptional events.

Vocabulary of Czech sci-fi short stories
Mráčková, Michaela ; Bozděchová, Ivana (advisor) ; Lehečková, Eva (referee)
The presented Bachelor thesis, Vocabulary of Czech sci-fi short stories, is focused on describing lexicological and morphological means used in a sample of words used in a Czech sci-fi magazine XB-1. The analysed words have been categorized by their terminological, neological, proper noun and slang nature. This served as the basis of structure of this thesis. In the semantic part, this thesis deals with real objects typical for the described literary genre (space travel devices, technical inventions, unusual science fields, etc.) and thus confronts the real and fictional worlds. The thesis summarizes the word-forming means where authors need to create new words for new objects and the thesis describes some of their common trends. Last but not least, this thesis assessed the function of these word-forming means in such a specific literary genre. The analysed expressions (more than 600 entries) are included as a table attachment with notes. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
